Cardinal Crest is a traditional saltbox cabin with high ceilings, a home movie theater, a screened porch, and a burning fireplace surrounded by beautiful views.

Cardinal Crest is a newly updated cabin tucked away in the woods and a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of prep space, a large great room with tons of natural light, a wood-burning fireplace, and large bedrooms. Step outside to the screened porch or deck to grill or relax in the hot tub. A great place for families or small groups of friends!

The cabin includes:
- Large living area with wood-burning fireplace
- 4 spacious bedrooms (king, 2 queens , and 2 bunk twin beds)
- 3 bathrooms
- Fully stocked kitchen with all the comforts of home
- Large deck and covered porch for grilling and relaxing
- Smart TV where you can quickly sign in to your favorite streaming service
- Fast, reliable WiFi that’s more than enough to stream movies and hold video calls

Outside you’ll find:
- Brand new hot tub!
- Deck & propane grill

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).

Beyond the cabin itself, you’ll have access to all the amenities in the Coolfont cabin community, including:
- Heated outdoor swimming pool, kiddie pool, and hot tub (note: pools and hot tub are only available Memorial Day to Labor Day)
- Tennis and basketball courts
- Rec field and “tot lot”
- Private hiking trails that head right into the mountains of the Cacapon State Park

Note: Our HOA sets the maximum occupancy of any cabin in our community at 2 guests per bedroom. Since Cardinal Crest has 4 bedrooms, our maximum occupancy at this cabin is 8 guests. That said, there are two sets of bunk beds in one of the bedrooms, and the cabin can easily sleep 10 people. If you have a larger group including young children, please message us and we can likely accommodate you at this property, or another one nearby.

Beyond Coolfont, there’s plenty to do just a short drive away:

- Love the outdoors? Berkeley Springs State Park is home to a mineral spa that has been in use since colonial times. The park is renowned for its warm spring water, which flows at a constant temperature of 74.3 degrees. (10 min drive away)
- A little further away is Cacapon State Park a 6,000 + acre nature park great for hiking and exploring (about 25 minutes away)
- Looking for good restaurants & shopping? A short drive to Berkeley Springs Brewery, wineries, tea room, cafes, donut shop, art galleries - lots of local favorites
- In the summer, head out for a day of fishing, hiking, a round of golf, or get on the water – you’ll find a little something for everyone (about 20 mins away)
