The cabin is a naturalist delight! We had a peaceful and adventurous long weekend in Lost River. There are lots of local hiking trails. We took a scenic 1 hour drive to Blackwater Falls State Park and viewed the tallest waterfall in West Virginia. We cooked every night and the kitchen had everything we needed. Be sure to bring your own condiments as if you were camping. The beds are extremely comfortable. The shower has great water pressure and plenty of hot water. There is a large flatscreen TV that was great for watching the Eagles win! Go birds! We stayed in early November and had two below freezing nights. The cabin was cold, it would’ve been great to have the fireplace available. I love a morning fire and was disappointed that I couldn’t, due to a law preventing fires in the spring and fall between 7 AM-5 PM. I would definitely stay in this cabin again, especially if they get the chimney fixed!

We had a great time at the cabin. It was very secluded which is exactly what we wanted. The kids loved the fire pit, ping pong table and playing outside. It has a nice screened in porch and deck wrapping around the back with great views. From the driveway you can literally see Cranny Crow, which we hiked during our stay- highly recommend. Tony was super responsive and made the trip very easy. Definitely recommend him as a host and this cabin if you’re looking for a secluded getaway. Side note, there’s not much cell service in those parts but the cabin has great WiFi.

Tony’s place was absolutely perfect for our wedding anniversary. Very private, peaceful and lovely. Had some fun games to play inside. It was extremely comfy and cozy. Felt right at home. 😊

I was in search for a quiet getaway and Tony’s listing definitely met that request. Very quiet, peaceful and secluded stay. Kitchen was basic but had everything needed to cook with. AC during our summer stay was great. Loved the screened in porch and deck w/ grill. Thanks for providing the umbrella for the outdoor table! Lower level had a cool hangout area great for kids.
Now with that being said, the location is definitely not listed accurately. This is a very secluded cabin that has a weird and quite frankly scary entrance. The road to the cabin initially feels like you’ve entered someone else’s property with abandoned cars along the way. There is an outdated metal gate that you have to go through and close back then travel up along on a road another mile. The cabin/ road are not on Google map. There’s several notices on the gate stating “private property” “do not tresspass” gives off the impression your going the wrong way. Needs blinds/curtains to the windows. Overall ok stay.

The area to get to was very strange at first, however was in a beautiful place. We had the options to hike in an area close by and amenities needed close travels as well. The drive was terrifying at first, but loved the secluded quietness!

We really enjoyed this cabin. It’s located in the a quiet area in middle of the woods close to the mountains. It feels private and secluded as there are no immediate neighbors. Wifi works very well. Stargazing was spectacular as it was a new moon. The area with the fire pit is very comfortable. The nearby Lost River State Park has good trails. I loved the decks around the cabin, beds were pretty comfortable. Kitchen is simple but reasonably equipped. They have coffee and a coffee machine but I recommend bringing your own if you’re into good coffee. Please note there’s very limited grocery stores in the area so be prepared. I totally recommend staying in this place.

Loved the place. The pictures were accurate and we got what we expected. Google maps didn’t show the location accurately, but it was easy to find. The wifi was fast enough for Netflix and YouTube. It was quite peaceful and felt like we’re in the middle of a forest.
Enjoyed it overall.

The cabin is beautiful, and the surrounding area is peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Tony was responsive to our inquiries.

Had a great time! Instructions were well laid out for getting there and felt right at home. The fire pit was a huge plus and was nice having extra wood on hand to keep the fire going. Area was beautiful and was right down the road from Lost River State park which was the highlight of the trip. Would definitely visit again!

Tony’s airbnb was great! We really liked the location and how peaceful it was. It was not difficult to get into and I appreciated how proactive tony was in contacting me. It was really helpful to have wifi available as there is not a lot of cell service available in the area so that was really helpful. The area itself was beautiful. The house was clean and everything was setup for us and easy to use.

Since my stay there, I’ve been banned from my next 2 reservation due to 3 items that I used and I guess they were there jut to make the kitchen fully equipped! So, I ended up being charged, I paid the $29.85 dollars that I received as a payment request but I still continue to be banned, so I don’t recommend to anybody to use anything in that place. Because they want it as new never used, it’s so ridiculous to banned me for $29.85, that it has been paid. when I’m using Airbnb everywhere I got in US for business purposes
