This place was so cozy and it felt right at home-the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in at an airbnb.

This was a very last minute booking for us due to a unforseen changes at the end of our mini vacation. Tony was excellent with messaging communication and made sure we were all set with everything! Even though there are other cabins right near by it was still quiet and peaceful.

Positive:
Nice outside deck, and hot tub.
Negative:
We spent the first hour or so cleaning to feel comfortable enough in the house. The deck was so dirty, there was food under the couch. We had 4 adults and a child, we were given 4 towels total. When we asked for more we did not receive any and instead received rude responses.
The house wasn’t finished there were nails showing, drawers broke upon opening, a hole straight through to the outside, washer/dryer hookup that was exposed and STINKY and there were spaces between the stove and cabinets which made it entirely unsafe for a child.
The manager was no help at all and honestly made the stay that much worse.

Firstly, the host canceled my original reservation for a secluded cabin 4 hours before check in. He transferred us to a cabin in the middle of a dense neighborhood. I felt uncomfortable being so close to others and two random people even came on property to be nosy. That is exactly why I did not want to be in a neighborhood. Then we try to cook and every single dish I went to use was dirty. No one wants a getaway and have to clean up after someone else. I was very irritated that the grill was dirty and the tool to clean it was falling apart. Next all streaming services were not working at all, the wifi did not even work on my devices. We tried every kind of troubleshooting. But the other reviews said the same thing and the host acted as though this was the first time hearing this. Also there is barely any “parking” it is just a small space of dirty next to the road. This host disappointed me so much on my 3rd anniversary. It was supposed to be at least clean. Wish I saved all my money.

Tony was a responsive host and the instructions for checkin/out were clear and simple. Also, the hot tub was nice.
Apart from that, the home barely met the requirements for a livable stay.
First, the baseboard heater in the second bedroom was not working. A space heater was provided, but also none of the outlets in that bedroom were working. We ended up having to stretch the cable from the hallway outlet to be able to place the heater just inside the second bedroom door. This was a tripping hazard and the plug kept coming out, and so we woke up on several occasions to a freezing cold room.
In addition to outlets not working for bedroom and TV, there was a very strong rotten fish smell coming from the holes in the wall in the first bedroom (can’t someone patch those?) when we used the oven.
While we made it through the weekend, the home needs a LOT of maintenance. We expected a comfortable stay, but got more of a “it’s a roof and four walls (with holes)” stay.

We stayed here for a weekend trip, the house was in a great location (easy to drive to, close to Bryce resort, and decent food options nearby). The house itself was very clean and had every cooking utensil you would need. During our trip the wifi would not work to use any streaming services on the TV, and the heaters were not working properly. Please consider layering up while inside if you visit during colder months. Overall, Tony was a great host and we enjoyed our stay!

We were very excited to take a trip and have a relaxing stay. However, that quickly changed when we arrived and there was no designated parking. There was also feet of snow preventing us from knowing where to park. We attempted to call the owner and the property manager twice but got no response. Due to the lack of designated parking and the snow, we ended up getting stuck in the ditch and had to call for a tow truck. Then once we got into the house we immediately noticed how freezing cold it was because multiple of the heating systems were completely broken and there are multiple holes in the walls leading to the outside as well as an open pipe in the bedroom profusely blowing cold air. In the kitchen the cabinets were falling apart and the front of them came off when you opened them. There was blood on the floor by the oven and there was an overall lack of cleanliness through out the house. After all of that the queen mattress has no cushion and was very uncomfortable.Don’t recommend

Positive:
I never stayed at the original property I booked. I was sent to another one. It was very clean.
Negative:
Absolutely no heat. One space heater. I was contacting the owner, whom told me a maintenance man would be there with heaters. Never showed up. The temperature was so unbearable, we left a day early.

Never left a bad review before, but here goes! WiFi wasn’t strong enough to stream anything or to use for remove work. Hot water in shower stopped working halfway through the trip. Outside covered in dead leaves and seemed too unsafe to use the tiny fire pit. No firewood was provided anyway so didn’t matter. House seemed completely neglected, random holes in floor and walls, back deck deteriorating, sliding back doors easily come off tracks, kitchen counter pieces were missing, and chairs and bed frames were very cheap seemed loose. The house was freezing cold, so we used blankets even at the dining room table and couch. Hot tub was fine but you enter with an audience of the neighbor house parties. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for the money we paid.

Airbnb looked as shown in photos but upon booking I was in contact with host and let them know of my late arrival time. Host made it seem like the cabin would be cleaned and ready in time but that wasn’t the case. Host was rude and disrespectful. After driving for 4 hours to destination Host informed me that the cabin was not able to be cleaned.

Yeah the heater didn’t seem to be properly working, the toilet wasn’t producing enough water to flush. And the wifi sucks, other than that amazing house I would recommend to others.

Took my parents here for a little getaway. Host was very responsive and had great communication. Nice and peaceful area and easy check in instructions. Very clean house and cozy. My family liked the board game and hot tub. Very peaceful and relaxed surroundings. Went to the winery near by had a great time!

We booked this spot last minute because we got a flat on a long drive. It was very well priced considering the size. Even though it was a last minute booking, Tony was extremely responsive and very helpful. I’ve been to plenty of places that advertise their hot tub as a plus, just to find out when you arrive that it’s 10 years old and barely works. That was not the case here, it was clean, functional, and the perfect addition after watching Sunday football in the cozy living room. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a spot to stay in the area.

Stayed here for a few nights to celebrate an anniversary. The place was very clean! Overall it was a nice place to stay at if you are looking to get away to the mountains. Check in instructions were clear and concise and Tony was very a very kind and responsive host. The only issues we had were with the internet and TV, we were unable to use streaming apps and had issues casting our own devices to the TV. Tony tried assisting as much as possible, but we never ended up figuring it out which was a slight bummer as our intention for the stay was to stay in most of the time. We also had some issues getting the heating to work on our last night. The neighbors are also very visible and while not the biggest issue, we often heard a lot of noise from them like leaf blowing and other maintenance sounds.

This place was very lovely. It was a nice getaway for us. I loved the view from the living room and of course the hot tub. We had everything we needed especially considering we did cook all of our meals there, in the kitchen and on the grill. I do wish there was more lighting outside for when we cooked or just hung out out there when it was dark but it was no biggie. Overall we had a great time and definitely would come back.

Tony was a very good host. He send us recommendations for food and activities to do. The Manual with the instructions is very clear. When we arrived Tony was responsive. We directly felt comfortable in here. We didn’t spent much time in the cabin we were mostly outside around the fire pit. Beds are really comfy as well.
I highly recommend Tony for a nice staying in the moutains!

Overall I wouldn’t recommend. Keys were unlabeled and one wasn’t even for the front door which we took one day and got locked out. No sense of urgency of host and we had to stay the night in a hotel. Place was dirty. Dust, moldy bowls, pedals from previous guest under bed, musty towels. A/C is only in the living room so the bedrooms got hot. I was glad I brought my tower fan along.

This was not a great experience. When we arrived at check-in, the handyman was there installing a window AC unit to replace the central air. This unit was not sufficient for the square footage, and the inside of the cabin would be hot during the afternoon/early evening hours.

At night, we watched the moon’s orbit across the big windows in the living room. In the morning we listened to the birds and took in the fresh air. After a day’s activities, we came home and relaxed in the hot tub. Very relaxing.
The beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed.

Upon arrival, we found large piles of dog poop on the outside deck, which we cleaned in order to use it. It was quite cold in the house even with the heat up all the way. We requested a space heater and two more towels and Tony responded by saying he would get back to us but never did. The king bed frame was falling apart. Both the heat and the bed frame problems were reported by other guests so these were issues the owners knew about previously. The house needs some general maintenance. For the first time ever, we cut our stay short and left halfway through. The hot tub and the grill were nice except there was little gas left in the tank and there was not another tank. The house is set in a quiet woodsy neighborhood. Note: If you’re looking for privacy, this is not a secluded area as there are houses in front and back and on both sides. However, I’m sure there’s more privacy when there are leaves on the trees.

The location is peaceful and the hot tub is great. Tony is a responsive host which is important as we had issues with our stay. The bed frame to the king bed has no screws or connections and was broken upon arrival. We contacted Tony and he sent a repairman immediately. He arrived and adjusted the frame but over the course of the next 2 days it fell apart again, rendering the bed unusable. We moved to the guest bed but it too was broken and unusable. Upon further inspection the underlying boxspring to the guest bed was upside down and couldn’t support the mattress, however the mattress was too heavy for us to remove and fix. We slept on the couch and floor. Overall the heat does not work well and the house is cold even when the outdoor temp is 50 degrees. We also found clothes from the last visitor including bloody underwear. We were glad to leave and return home.

Wonderful atmosphere. Tony and his entire team made it easy to check in and especially check out! All I had to handle was trash and dishes. Some airbnbs make you strip sheets, etc. I was confused about the WiFi and he responded quicker than I’ve seen other hosts. I enjoyed where it was planted between trails, hikes, and Lost & Found Provisions and Pizza.
We had some questions in the beginning and I want to say I got a response within 15-20 minutes that completely left me answered!
I’d recommend Tony and his team for any of your vacation stays in Virginia!

I enjoyed where it was planted between trails, hikes, and Lost & Found Provisions and Pizza.
