Great experience all the way around. Excellent communication, easy, check-in, and excellent location. Extremely comfortable beds, and would definitely stay again if in the area! Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this house for your stay, if you are looking for a spacious place for your family and a peaceful quiet stay next to nature! It also has a deck and a grill. It has beautiful views, and if you are looking for star watching you will be able to see it very close! We had a great time! Host was also very helpful with area recommendations and instructions!

This place was exactly as described. Was very comfortable and very private. Was clean, and everything was well provided for. Was in for a golf trip at Cacapon State Park, and this place was basically 8 minutes away. It made for a perfect golf getaway weekend! Would definitely stay again!

This place has a lot of potential, but was probably our worst Airbnb experience. The biggest problem was that the water was turned off when we arrived. After we figured out how to turn it on (without help from the host) the was no water pressure. The kitchen had the best pressure and that took five minutes to fill a pot to boil water for pasta. The majority of the light switches didn’t work. I’m pretty sure the responses from the host were actually a robot, not a person. They had us fill out a separate rental form in order to get a “manual” with check in instructions, door key code, and check out instructions… the manual didn’t have any of that information. I had to reach out separately for all of it. I wish we had saved our money and gone camping or stayed anywhere else.

Aside from maintenance things (many missing lightbulbs/unknown switches/no toaster/bad road signs), our biggest problem was as we left with our 3 special needs grandkids to celebrate a bd, we drove to the end of the driveway to be met with a GIANT tree across the driveway. It had been very windy that day but we never heard anything. We were trapped at this property! I called/texted and dealt with some sort of management company. Their handyman would be there in 20 minutes they said. After no further contact and no handyman, our son came with his chainsaw and took care of things. The kids didn’t get dinner till 9:30pm! Handyman took credit for our son’s work, but we have pix as proof. No offer for ANY reimbursement or restitution.

We have stayed at several of Tony’s places and this one did not disappoint. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. The wood stove was great on the cold days. The space was perfect to share with friends to unwind and relax together

I really liked this airbnb, so peaceful and private. My friends and I had a great time. Everything was clean. I recommend it. It worth it.

With no mincing of words, this was by far my worst Airbnb experience. Booked the accommodation for a wknd getaway from NYC to WV for my lady and myself during the MLK wknd. Prior to booking, I informed Tony of my car rental (Altima) and asked if he suggest that i get an SUV or something with 4×4, to which he told me Altima would be just fine.
Listing says checkin is 4pm and with us driving 5+ hours, we may arrive earlier in an effort to beat traffic—to which I also communicated to Tony. Tony said it would be fine as long as cleaning was finished.
By 4pm, we still had not revived any checkin instructions. I contacted Tony asking for details to checkin only for him to respond at 5pm telling me that unfortunately we won’t be allowed to checkin. Tony cited safety reasons and comically asked if we had a 4×4, the same one he told me that i didn’t need. We were stranded on the side of the road and gas station for 4+hours trying to find another location. Tony’s communication was dismissive
