Had an amazing night at this house, it was very quiet and peaceful and the hot tub was amazing. Spent our evening by the hot tub and grilling burgers. Would highly recommend this if you’re looking for a weekend getaway away!

Booked this airbnb stay due to the hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub was over-chlorinated and caused myself and my friend to have a burning rash afterwards for about 2 days. Everything about this airbnb was great except for the one thing we came for. Would of gone somewhere else nearby for half the price had I known the hot tub was not going to be usable due to the incredibly high chlorine count. I discussed this with Tony and was refunded $50 of my stay due to the chlorine concentration being way too high when he checked it, but again, I only booked this place for the hot tub, so our stay was a disappointment.

We had a great stay at this home.The space was clean, comfortable, and matched the photos. The neighborhood was peaceful and convenient, making it easy to get around. Communication with the host was smooth and they were quick to respond to any questions. A few small things could’ve made the stay even better, but overall it was a pleasant experience and we’d definitely consider coming back.

Great stay to get a woodland experience while still being nearby to plenty of things to do. Harper’s Ferry is nearby as well as numerous other attractions.

Would highly recommend this place if you’re trying to immerse yourself in nature. Every night was so quiet and peaceful. Tony was a great host and had helpful videos on how to operate the hot tub. My only note was there weren’t any dish towels so be prepared to use paper towels if you’re making your own meals. Other than that 5/5 stars!

The location is excellent. Close to Harper’s ferry and to Shenandoah river. Prompt and good communication from the host.
The cabin was clean and functional. We really enjoyed the hot tub. It is sparsely furnished and appointed, but sufficient for a weekend out of town.

We were extremely disappointed! When we walked into the enclosed porch the smell of pet urine took your breath away, the carpet was covered in pet stains. The house looks nothing like the pictures, it is very run down and is in need of maintenance. The shower was absolutely filthy! There was pink and black mold all over the tub and on the shower curtain up to my knees. None of the floors in the whole place have been cleaned in awhile and the furniture was filthy.
The positives are that the beds are super comfortable and the sheets were super soft. When I reached out to Tony about how filthy the shower was he responded immediately and was very apologetic. He was nice enough to offer us a $50 refund and if we chose to leave a full refund, which I really appreciated it.

Although we only got to use the hot tub the first night due to it having technical issues, the host was beyond kind and understanding with refunding us a portion of our total cost! I’m sure the hot tub will be fixed by the next guest, so I would absolutely book again next time I want to visit Harper’s Ferry! It was such a beautiful little home in a beautiful little area, only about 20 minutes from Harper’s ferry itself!

Tony and Blue Maple never disappoint. This was our third time staying at one of their properties and it was wonderful. Loved the location, and the surroundings. The cabin was great for relaxing. Their communication is always extraordinary. Thank you guys, we’ll be back! 🙂

Beautiful drive to the cute home surrounded by trees. It feels very secluded but not too far from trail heads and the river. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful in the evening under string lights. My family enjoyed playing games in the covered patio. A rough storm knocked out the power on our last night but the propane grill saved the day to make dinner for the whole family. Tony was very responsive with recommendations in the area and the power outage. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway.

Enjoyed our peaceful stay! Tony was super helpful and responsive. The space was perfect for a quick weekend get away. We loved the jacuzzi and grill area. It’s like we didn’t need to leave for anything. I’m so glad we chose this location!

The customer service was horrible. Overshadowed the entire experience. Needed a early check in messaged and called right away. Was sent an email about the early check in but they declined they had one. I informed them o was coming hours away and I would appreciate getting my mom (who the house was for) settled. Called back when I got to the property no one answering the phone anymore but could message. I explained that I had arrived and would be waiting for the moments notice of check in so I could get back on the road. Arrived at 130 and waited and communicated throughout the hours via message. Although the reported cleaning person had left hours before 4 I was told I couldn't check in. They waited until after 4 then wouldn't return message about check in code until after 410. Then sent me multiple messages about waiting the dishes washes, trashes taken out and temp moved upon departure. The cleaning fee was $105 dollars. And even though the stay was 69 the total was over 200 but they want you to was dishes. Unbelievable! I will not be returning

The pros: The location is private and quiet, mountain views and plenty of space to spread out. Tony is a decent host, and did fulfill my request for additional towels once a reminder was provided. The cons: The listing photos do not accurately show the listing in its current condition. Exterior paint, interior finishes, actual sleep space, the photos show a very different house. The bunkbed shown in photos on the first floor has been removed, and a smaller bed placed in the “game room” in the unfinished basement. Above all the house needs maintenance.

The lower level has mold and is not usable. The bathroom downstairs was dirty and there was poop in the toilet. Floors downstairs are concrete and had not been swept. There was gum and a sock on the floor. We couldn’t sleep in the bedroom downstairs. There were no sheets for the pull out couch. The bathtub was not usable upstairs due to rust. The kitchen counter was in disrepair . We checked out after only one night because the house was not safe. The stairs to go downstairs were steep narrow and windy. The stairs are not safe. I tried to get my money back from Tony and he wanted to only refund me $100 lucky for me airbnb helped me receive a full refund. We were only going to Harpers Ferry for the weekend to spend time with family and our vacation was ruined. I spent hours trying to get a refund. I hope Tony addresses the safety and health issues in his home.

Great place to stay! The hot tub worked well and the house was really cute. The owner was very responsive and even offered to help ship a medication my friend left behind. If you’re visiting in the winter, just be mindful of slippery roads when driving to the cabin.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time! Beautiful scenery, snow would have made it even pretty. Checked out a local saloon. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Tony was an amazing host. On top of everything!

I am not able to copy and paste my long review explaining all of the horrible issues we encountered at this “chalet” so I will just list them here.
– Posting does not match description. Beds not the same.
– sofa bed was completely broken and unsleepable.
– hot tub was a chemical bath causing kids to cough and eyes to sting. 4 of our family still have rashes.
– dirty place with no extra bedding. We found pubic hair in the bed. Dirt in silverware drawer. Trash on floor.
– was told fireplace is broken only after asking about bringing wood, within 24 hours of our stay.
It is now 2wks after my stay and the host has still not refunded us for this night, where 2 of us couldn’t sleep due to a bed that does not work. The difficulty of starting a vacation with a lack of sleep for 2 parents who are managing a family of children cannot be understated. This one night cost us a lot more than one night. It impacted the entire week.
We will be avoiding all of Tony’s properties in the future.

Tony’s place was a nice getaway on Christmas Day. We did encounter problems with heating the bedroom with space heaters. If we turned both on it would trip the breaker and everything in the bathroom and master wouldn’t work. Tony did offer someone to come out to take a look but it was already evening and I didn’t want anyone being called out on Christmas evening. We made due with one space heater on low to help with heat in the bedroom. Hot tub was nice. I would go again. I’m sure they will work in the breaker box issue.

Pretty meh place, house is run down and definitely needs some work. I can’t imagine staying several people here with a single, under pressured shower. The basement was pretty unfinished and cold. Checkout and check-in times are pretty absurd at 4 and 10 (but of course you can pay $50 to move them by two hours, give me a break). Only redeemed by the hot tub, otherwise I’d steer clear of this place at the price.

Cute ranch style house located on it’s own rustic rd within in a quiet, wooded neighborhood (winding roads & very dark nights). Home had everything needed for bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom.
It’s listed that one of the main bedrooms has a twin over queen bunk but that is not the case. Each bedroom has 1 queen bed. There is a set of twin bunk beds in the basement area with a foosball table, however it didn’t seem as though that area is heated at all (it was very cold). The living room couch is a pullout bed.
We had a few hiccups within our stay. Check in day, the host let me know there was an issue that was being worked on but we may not be able to check in. He did offer another property. My daughter & I were meeting, she’s from NC and I from CT, so an extra hour wasn’t ideal after already driving 6 hrs, but i was appreciative of the offer! Luckily the issue was fixed and we were able to check in.
I paid for late checkout, but 10:05am the power shut off… so we packed up early.

This house could be great with some work, but it’s just not there yet. We had several small complaints about maintenance and overall quality of the space (i.e., several light switches that didn’t work, obvious wear that could be easily fixed), but it was clean and the view is nice. It’s probably a better value for a larger group, but we were hoping for something a little more special. Overall, it just depends on the type of space you’re looking for and, for us, the pictures just did this place too much justice and we were underwhelmed.

My husband, toddler, dog and I escaped mid week for a nice break. The cabin was quiet and surrounded by trees. Tony was very communicative throughout our stay, making sure that we were happy and if we needed anything and was happy to give recommendations on things to do.
The space is not exactly toddler friendly! Although the photos are clear, I didn’t notice the spiral staircase, so when we got there, we needed to re arrange the furniture to block off the stairs. Not a train smash as we are very hands-on parents, but just be aware.
Although there are 2 local stores within 3 minutes drive from the property, they are not well stocked with ‘propper’ food so make sure that you get your groceries before going.
Overall, we had a pleasant time.

My family and I recently stayed here for a couple of weeks while my husband was working at a job site nearby. It was definitely the best AirBNB I’ve stayed at thus far. The selling point was the hot tub, which we definitely utilized. The home is located in a very quiet area with minimal traffic and noise. We got to see wild life in the yard, like deer and squirrels, everyday. The house is the perfect size for several people but feels very cozy. The beds were really comfortable and the fully-stocked kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals every day. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time here. Perfect and comfortable space for 2 adults and 5 teens. The kids loved the basement space! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals at home. The home manual was very helpful and Tony was lightning fast to respond to any text msgs. Highly recommend!

We were able to check in early. The basement sleeping was not ideal. No air circulation, stuffy and truly “a basement”. The hot tub was a great selling piece and did not disappoint. Easy connection to wi-fi. Bring extra towels if you plan on sleeping in the pull out or the twin beds. Bring extra linens for the pull out bed if you plan on using it. We stayed for a baseball tournament in the area, and we loved the ease of entry, on site washer/dryer. It was what we wanted and needed for the week.

Overall, it was a decent stay. Peaceful and private location, close to downtown. I will say it was missing some of the amenities mentioned such as coffee, shampoo/conditioner. Also, I was a little taken back as I was texted a reminder to take the trash to end of driveway for pick up, as well as removing bathroom trash bins from previous occupants… I did pay a $90 cleaning fee, which seems excessive considering.

What a great home! I was only there for a night because we were pit-stopping in the area during a long road trip. I wish we could have stayed longer, it’s so peaceful and spacious. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if my family spends more time in Harper’s Ferry.

This was a great secluded stop for us in West Virginia! Easy to get into the nearby town but definitely feels like it’s off the beaten path. The staircase to the downstairs is definitely tight in case there are any with mobility issues, but the main floor is very welcoming. Tony is an especially proactive host; our only regret is that the check-out time is a hard-and-fast 10:00a, which means we weren’t able to play foosball as long as our kids would have liked. 🙂

My daughter and I enjoyed an amazing, relaxing stay and can't wait to return! Plenty of space, washer abd dryer for convenience, and the hot tub was covered, allowing us to use it in the rain.

Amazing stay and a great host! He always responded right away and gave tons of recommendations for things to do in the area. The place was very well kept and comfortably fit me and the other guests. Highly recommend this house for a relaxing peaceful getaway!

My gal and i had a fantastic time with the place itself; the hot tub, quiet surroundings and fantastic cleanliness followed up with the nearby activities and historical locations was just overall superb!

Great place to stay! The hot tub worked well and the house was really cute. The owner was very responsive and even offered to help ship a medication my friend left behind. If you're visiting in the winter, just be mindful of slippery roads when driving to the cabin.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time! Beautiful scenery, snow would have made it even pretty. Checked out a local saloon. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Tony was an amazing host. On top of everything!

I am not able to copy and paste my long review explaining all of the horrible issues we encountered at this “chalet” so I will just list them here.
- Posting does not match description. Beds not the same.
- sofa bed was completely broken and unsleepable.
- hot tub was a chemical bath causing kids to cough and eyes to sting. 4 of our family still have rashes.
- dirty place with no extra bedding. We found pubic hair in the bed. Dirt in silverware drawer. Trash on floor.
- was told fireplace is broken only after asking about bringing wood, within 24 hours of our stay.
It is now 2wks after my stay and the host has still not refunded us for this night, where 2 of us couldn’t sleep due to a bed that does not work. The difficulty of starting a vacation with a lack of sleep for 2 parents who are managing a family of children cannot be understated. This one night cost us a lot more than one night. It impacted the entire week.
We will be avoiding all of Tony’s properties in the future.

Tony’s place was a nice getaway on Christmas Day. We did encounter problems with heating the bedroom with space heaters. If we turned both on it would trip the breaker and everything in the bathroom and master wouldn’t work. Tony did offer someone to come out to take a look but it was already evening and I didn’t want anyone being called out on Christmas evening. We made due with one space heater on low to help with heat in the bedroom. Hot tub was nice. I would go again. I’m sure they will work in the breaker box issue.

Pretty meh place, house is run down and definitely needs some work. I can't imagine staying several people here with a single, under pressured shower. The basement was pretty unfinished and cold. Checkout and check-in times are pretty absurd at 4 and 10 (but of course you can pay $50 to move them by two hours, give me a break). Only redeemed by the hot tub, otherwise I'd steer clear of this place at the price.

Cute ranch style house located on it's own rustic rd within in a quiet, wooded neighborhood (winding roads & very dark nights). Home had everything needed for bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom.
It's listed that one of the main bedrooms has a twin over queen bunk but that is not the case. Each bedroom has 1 queen bed. There is a set of twin bunk beds in the basement area with a foosball table, however it didn't seem as though that area is heated at all (it was very cold). The living room couch is a pullout bed.
We had a few hiccups within our stay. Check in day, the host let me know there was an issue that was being worked on but we may not be able to check in. He did offer another property. My daughter & I were meeting, she's from NC and I from CT, so an extra hour wasn't ideal after already driving 6 hrs, but i was appreciative of the offer! Luckily the issue was fixed and we were able to check in.
I paid for late checkout, but 10:05am the power shut off... so we packed up early.

This house could be great with some work, but it's just not there yet. We had several small complaints about maintenance and overall quality of the space (i.e., several light switches that didn't work, obvious wear that could be easily fixed), but it was clean and the view is nice. It's probably a better value for a larger group, but we were hoping for something a little more special. Overall, it just depends on the type of space you're looking for and, for us, the pictures just did this place too much justice and we were underwhelmed.

We had a great stay! Such a beautiful area. The house was cozy and clean. The host was great - very responsive, allowed for early check-in, and gave good recommendations for local activities. Definitely recommend, and would stay here again!

My husband, toddler, dog and I escaped mid week for a nice break. The cabin was quiet and surrounded by trees. Tony was very communicative throughout our stay, making sure that we were happy and if we needed anything and was happy to give recommendations on things to do.
The space is not exactly toddler friendly! Although the photos are clear, I didn't notice the spiral staircase, so when we got there, we needed to re arrange the furniture to block off the stairs. Not a train smash as we are very hands-on parents, but just be aware.
Although there are 2 local stores within 3 minutes drive from the property, they are not well stocked with 'propper' food so make sure that you get your groceries before going.
Overall, we had a pleasant time.

My wife and I took a spontaneous vacation and found Tony's place. The listing was as described, clean, spacious and well stocked with linens and kitchen items. Throughout our stay, Tony checked in to ensure we had everything we need. We will be back!

The place was nice. Fairly well kept. We stayed for 2 nights. Check in at 4p and check out at 10a. Host gives an option to check in sooner for a fee. Lots of texts during stay.

My family and I recently stayed here for a couple of weeks while my husband was working at a job site nearby. It was definitely the best AirBNB I’ve stayed at thus far. The selling point was the hot tub, which we definitely utilized. The home is located in a very quiet area with minimal traffic and noise. We got to see wild life in the yard, like deer and squirrels, everyday. The house is the perfect size for several people but feels very cozy. The beds were really comfortable and the fully-stocked kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals every day. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time here. Perfect and comfortable space for 2 adults and 5 teens. The kids loved the basement space! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals at home. The home manual was very helpful and Tony was lightning fast to respond to any text msgs. Highly recommend!

Tony's place was great, but we had to cut our stay short due to travel changes. Would have gladly stayed another day to check out the area. We would definitely stay here in the future. We enjoyed our stay.

We were able to check in early. The basement sleeping was not ideal. No air circulation, stuffy and truly “a basement”. The hot tub was a great selling piece and did not disappoint. Easy connection to wi-fi. Bring extra towels if you plan on sleeping in the pull out or the twin beds. Bring extra linens for the pull out bed if you plan on using it. We stayed for a baseball tournament in the area, and we loved the ease of entry, on site washer/dryer. It was what we wanted and needed for the week.

Overall, it was a decent stay. Peaceful and private location, close to downtown. I will say it was missing some of the amenities mentioned such as coffee, shampoo/conditioner. Also, I was a little taken back as I was texted a reminder to take the trash to end of driveway for pick up, as well as removing bathroom trash bins from previous occupants… I did pay a $90 cleaning fee, which seems excessive considering.

What a great home! I was only there for a night because we were pit-stopping in the area during a long road trip. I wish we could have stayed longer, it's so peaceful and spacious. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if my family spends more time in Harper's Ferry.

This was a great secluded stop for us in West Virginia! Easy to get into the nearby town but definitely feels like it's off the beaten path. The staircase to the downstairs is definitely tight in case there are any with mobility issues, but the main floor is very welcoming. Tony is an especially proactive host; our only regret is that the check-out time is a hard-and-fast 10:00a, which means we weren't able to play foosball as long as our kids would have liked. 🙂
