The host was wonderful and very communicative! There was a minor issue with some outside lights and it was fixed within a few hours! The hot tub was very enjoyable and the basket of games downstairs was great. The sunset view from the back deck was one of the big reasons we stayed here, and it did not disappoint!!

This is a beautiful place and the views are stunning. Highly suggest watching the sunset.
There is another cabin nearby but the backyard offers plenty of privacy.

Peaceful place to stay with lots of patio space and open windows. Very private location with a steep gravel driveway. This house is within driving distance to many hikes, wineries, and state lines, so it was a great central location to explore WV, MD, VA, PA, and DC. Tony was very responsive and the house had everything I needed. It was a great stay!

Super cute place! Got to watch a great storm across the way! We did lose power but the host was super responsive and called it in right away. Total non issue for us as we are used to it in New England! Worth the 8 hour drive for us!

The view is unbeatable from the upper deck and the hot tub was a great addition. The house is off the beaten path and in the woods so you feel really out of the hustle for sure. The driveway is a bit steep so just be prepared.
Communication with the host was stellar! Very proactive with information and extremely responsive when we needed info or additional support.

We stayed for one night over Memorial Day with three of our sons. The location was quiet, the hot tub was clean (and hot!), and the view was lovely. However, even though we said there would be five of us, there were only four towels. There are two pullout couches but there was only one bottom sheet, no flat sheets, and no extra pillows. The listing says “sleeps 6” but this felt more like “sleeps 4.” Also, the place needs some TLC. 3/4 of the latches on the hot tub cover are broken. The ceiling fan in the loft doesn’t work. The “Connect Four” game is broken and the foosball is missing its ball. There’s not a lot to do around the area, and we were excited about playing games together, so those little things were disappointing.
Tony was responsive about the sheets/towels and asked the cleaning lady to deliver some, but she did not. He refunded us $50, which was nice, but sharing towels and using couch cushions as pillows wasn’t what we envisioned—hence the four stars.

Our stay was very nice. The host was very responsive, communicative, and helpful during my entire stay. He made sure everything was going smoothly and had a ton of helpful instructions for all the amenities offered in the cabin.
He recommended some hiking spots which were really nice and beautiful. Overall he was very helpful and caring during our stay and did his best to make sure everything went well.
The place is how it looks like in the pictures. Some of the board games are a little worn down, but overall everything was in great shape.

The description of the cabin does not serve it justice.. my family and I did not want to leave.. the peaceful quiet with soft ambient distant sounds put us in a meditative state.
The hot tub was perfect, combined with the clean crisp cool mountain air, felt like we
were in a movie.
The Wood indoor fire place with crackling wood sounds, was perfect for a cup hot cocoa or select beverage of choice.
Amazing grill on the front balcony/deck with a view of land, mountain hills and trees in the day time for MILES!! …. Prepare to have your mind blown (because when the sun goes down) pure beautiful moonlight washed darkness with lights in the distance as far as you can see.. the kind of place you can live or retire and enjoy every minute..
I frequent cabins for specific moods this cabin is well placed in my top 5, I will be visiting again.

This place is absolutely amazing. Had an amazing Valentine’s Day with my fiancé and two new puppies here. Tony helped me with anything I needed and also was very fast on replying to my messages. I requested a set up for Valentine’s Day and it was everything I imagined and asked for!!

Great stay! Super quiet and peaceful. Tony was a great host and very responsive to anything we needed. The hot tub was great, and has a little privacy fence. The view is spectacular and I think my favorite part was the wood burning fireplace. Such a cute and cozy cabin!

Love the space. The peacefulness and the jetted tub. The view was amazing once the fog cleared up. There was plenty of room and very clean. I love the host Tony he was so great. He ensure we had everything we needed and is very prompt with responses. I would recommend this place and will be back again.

I did not like the driveway. I recommend anyone staying to have an suv, van, or truck with 4 wheel drive.

We loved our stay! This cabin was the perfect secluded getaway that we were looking for a couple days, it looked just like the photos! It was easy to access and check-in was hassle free. There was stunning scenery through every window you looked out. A storm came through the night before we eventually checked in and broke a window but Tony handled it promptly and had a handyman out that same day. Overall 10/10 would stay again!

This was the second of Tony’s places my girlfriend and I stayed at and it was equally as great as the first! Really cozy space. Clean, easy to access and a stunning view in the morning. Easy drive from DC. We definitely plan on going back soon!

This was such a hidden gem on our road trip and Tony was such a great host. We often have to find a place at the last minute when traveling, and we were able to locate this cabin with such a gorgeous view and a hot tub! We had everything we needed for the night for our family and our dogs. Check in was a breeze. Watched sunrise from the second story deck. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Tony was very informative and communicative as a host. The cabin was comfortable and clean. The driveway was a bit of a concern in the rain and fog, but still manageable in a sedan. Other than that it was really great. We were stuck inside for a couple days from the weather and still had a very nice and relaxing time.

My partner and I loved staying at Tony’s cabin! The views from the porch and the upstairs bedroom were breathtaking. We took advantage of both the hot tub and firepit and enjoyed a couple of meals on the full-sized grill. The upstairs bed was comfortable and the house was spacious and clean. We didn’t use the foosball table but wish we had; the downstairs room is chock full of other games! Such a great place to spend a few days away. We were about 45 minutes from Harper’s Ferry, and the drive was easy and serene. We loved doing the Maryland Heights hike, walking around the town, and enjoyed some white water rafting with River Riders up the Shenandoah and Potomac. Our favorite activity was a bike ride through Louden County, where we stopped at a number of wineries and took in the gorgeous landscape. Our only complaint was the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived from the previous stay. Overall, we loved our time and would love to return! Thanks Tony 🙂

we had good stay, no major issues. Clean house and responsive host. Beautiful view off the back porch. Beautiful sunset facing west! Bed was comfortable and clean. The reading room upstairs was very relaxing.
Some things to note:
– Steep gravel driveway. Was not an issue for us but could be for some in bad weather.
– No yard, but room to walk dogs in driveway.
– Fire pit is not super private (separated by privacy fence but there is a house next door).
– Lots of bugs on deck (ants, bees, flies).

We enjoyed our stay and Tony was great to work with! Easy to communicate with, quick response, and food recommendations. There are some things you should know about the property. The driveway is hard to locate and it’s a one way dirt road. There is a very sharp turn and a very steep embankment. We had a difficult time getting our full size truck around the sharp curve and turned around up top. In the dark and rain, this was quite dangerous. The hot tub is semi private, as there is a small fence, but neighbors house is right at the top of the driveway. The hot tub doesn’t heat while the jets are running, so if you need it hotter, you’re gonna need to turn up the temp and let it sit for 30-40 mins before getting in and running the jets. There is a sky light in the master bedroom upstairs. I hate skylights, but that’s just my opinion! Tiny bathroom and sink area. No place to set your belongings. Bring your own extra towels! We had one hand towel total!! Bring own hot tub towels.

( I am glad that I didn’t bring my Cadillac just because I dont think it would’ve made it up the drive way or that area) it’s a pretty steep and long gravel driveway, we made it up fine in our suv. It was a wonderful time and I would stay again! 🙂

Tony’s cabin is an excellent getaway from the stresses of the city. It’s perched up a hill with a fantastic view over the mountains and is exceptionally quiet. The property has everything you’d need to relax in nature, surrounded by a forest with the cleanest air. If you have clear skies, the star gazing is quite fantastic.
There is a propane grill, ample lighting, a foosball table, hottub and 3 separate decks with seating to accommodate. Plenty of parking too!
If you aren’t familiar with hottubs like myself, just make sure to set the temperature 2-3 hours before you actually want to hop in it. Also check on it every 30 minutes or so to ensure it is heating up – we had an error code “DR” appear which reset the system back to 93 degrees without knowing, so just make sure it’s set to the proper temp and give it time to heat up. Once it gets hot though, it was A+, so relaxing. and you can tell it’s extremely clean. Loved the privacy wall with lighting too.

My advice is that you rent a car if you are unsure of your city cars ability to climb a driveway haha. It is a lovely place and amazing view. Great hot tub! Excellent privacy and well maintained. There are occasional critters because it’s in the woods basically, but just name the stink bugs and then it’s a game 😄

This was a great location for us. We needed a pet-friendly stay on our northbound trip. This is easy to reach from I-81, maybe just 15 minutes away. Everything was clean and worked well, and the view over the valley was beautiful.
Negative:
I would have liked to be better prepared for the gravel driveway with a very steep grade and a sharp angle to enter. 4 wheel drive would work well. Also the house numbers are not in order, which was confusing.

The house was easy to get to, it has a very beautiful view, it was very clean, organised and cozy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen as well as everywhere else(bathroom and bedrooms).
Beautiful fireplace, brand new grill and the fire pit were all great to have.
The only thing we didn’t like about the inside was the flies on the upper level, we tried to spray them but there was more coming out from the windows frame, we decided not to use that space unfortunately, it was a beautiful room 🙁 though .
The hot tub was amazing, clean and new as well. the only thing we didn’t like about the outside was that the neighbours were too close (no privacy) in the hot tub at all.
I would definitely recommend the place for my friends and family, and I’d love to go back again.

We absolutely loved this airbnb. My husband and I needed a getaway to clear our minds and that’s exactly what we got. The view is beautiful we spent our mornings drinking coffee overlooking the mountain from the deck and our nights in the sunroom area by the main bedroom sipping wine doing the same. The hot tub was perfect especially since we went for hikes during the day. Tony made sure everything was great and was always super quick to respond!
One thing I will say is driveway is steep since you’re on a mountain I would be sure your comfortable going up something like that with your vehicle. For us when we first got there we panicked because it was such a sharp turn into the driveway that seemed impossible. Thankfully if you drive just a little bit further down the road there is a spot to turn around and coming back the driveway is way easier to access! We made it up no problem in an old truck without four-wheel drive.

Love the space. The peacefulness and the jetted tub. The view was amazing once the fog cleared up. There was plenty of room and very clean. I love the host Tony he was so great. He ensure we had everything we needed and is very prompt with responses. I would recommend this place and will be back again.
Negative:
I did not like the driveway. I recommend anyone staying to have an suv, van, or truck with 4 wheel drive.

We loved our stay! This cabin was the perfect secluded getaway that we were looking for a couple days, it looked just like the photos! It was easy to access and check-in was hassle free. There was stunning scenery through every window you looked out. A storm came through the night before we eventually checked in and broke a window but Tony handled it promptly and had a handyman out that same day. Overall 10/10 would stay again!

This was the second of Tony’s places my girlfriend and I stayed at and it was equally as great as the first! Really cozy space. Clean, easy to access and a stunning view in the morning. Easy drive from DC. We definitely plan on going back soon!

This cabin was a great location for a family gathering we had. There was plenty of space for all of us with plenty of amenities. The views from the patios were great as well. There were plenty of activities located about 15-20 minutes away. Our Host was also very responsive and the house manual was clear and easy to follow. Overall, Great experience at this cabin.

This was such a hidden gem on our road trip and Tony was such a great host. We often have to find a place at the last minute when traveling, and we were able to locate this cabin with such a gorgeous view and a hot tub! We had everything we needed for the night for our family and our dogs. Check in was a breeze. Watched sunrise from the second story deck. Wish we could have stayed longer!

My partner and I loved staying at Tony's cabin! The views from the porch and the upstairs bedroom were breathtaking. We took advantage of both the hot tub and firepit and enjoyed a couple of meals on the full-sized grill. The upstairs bed was comfortable and the house was spacious and clean. We didn't use the foosball table but wish we had; the downstairs room is chock full of other games! Such a great place to spend a few days away. We were about 45 minutes from Harper's Ferry, and the drive was easy and serene. We loved doing the Maryland Heights hike, walking around the town, and enjoyed some white water rafting with River Riders up the Shenandoah and Potomac. Our favorite activity was a bike ride through Louden County, where we stopped at a number of wineries and took in the gorgeous landscape. Our only complaint was the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived from the previous stay. Overall, we loved our time and would love to return! Thanks Tony 🙂

we had good stay, no major issues. Clean house and responsive host. Beautiful view off the back porch. Beautiful sunset facing west! Bed was comfortable and clean. The reading room upstairs was very relaxing.
Some things to note:
- Steep gravel driveway. Was not an issue for us but could be for some in bad weather.
- No yard, but room to walk dogs in driveway.
- Fire pit is not super private (separated by privacy fence but there is a house next door).
- Lots of bugs on deck (ants, bees, flies).

We enjoyed our stay and Tony was great to work with! Easy to communicate with, quick response, and food recommendations. There are some things you should know about the property. The driveway is hard to locate and it’s a one way dirt road. There is a very sharp turn and a very steep embankment. We had a difficult time getting our full size truck around the sharp curve and turned around up top. In the dark and rain, this was quite dangerous. The hot tub is semi private, as there is a small fence, but neighbors house is right at the top of the driveway. The hot tub doesn’t heat while the jets are running, so if you need it hotter, you’re gonna need to turn up the temp and let it sit for 30-40 mins before getting in and running the jets. There is a sky light in the master bedroom upstairs. I hate skylights, but that’s just my opinion! Tiny bathroom and sink area. No place to set your belongings. Bring your own extra towels! We had one hand towel total!! Bring own hot tub towels.

Tony's cabin is an excellent getaway from the stresses of the city. It's perched up a hill with a fantastic view over the mountains and is exceptionally quiet. The property has everything you'd need to relax in nature, surrounded by a forest with the cleanest air. If you have clear skies, the star gazing is quite fantastic.
There is a propane grill, ample lighting, a foosball table, hottub and 3 separate decks with seating to accommodate. Plenty of parking too!
If you aren't familiar with hottubs like myself, just make sure to set the temperature 2-3 hours before you actually want to hop in it. Also check on it every 30 minutes or so to ensure it is heating up - we had an error code "DR" appear which reset the system back to 93 degrees without knowing, so just make sure it's set to the proper temp and give it time to heat up. Once it gets hot though, it was A+, so relaxing. and you can tell it's extremely clean. Loved the privacy wall with lighting too.

My advice is that you rent a car if you are unsure of your city cars ability to climb a driveway haha. It is a lovely place and amazing view. Great hot tub! Excellent privacy and well maintained. There are occasional critters because it's in the woods basically, but just name the stink bugs and then it's a game 😄

This was a great location for us. We needed a pet-friendly stay on our northbound trip. This is easy to reach from I-81, maybe just 15 minutes away. Everything was clean and worked well, and the view over the valley was beautiful.
Negative:
I would have liked to be better prepared for the gravel driveway with a very steep grade and a sharp angle to enter. 4 wheel drive would work well. Also the house numbers are not in order, which was confusing.

The house was easy to get to, it has a very beautiful view, it was very clean, organised and cozy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen as well as everywhere else(bathroom and bedrooms).
Beautiful fireplace, brand new grill and the fire pit were all great to have.
The only thing we didn’t like about the inside was the flies on the upper level, we tried to spray them but there was more coming out from the windows frame, we decided not to use that space unfortunately, it was a beautiful room 🙁 though .
The hot tub was amazing, clean and new as well. the only thing we didn’t like about the outside was that the neighbours were too close (no privacy) in the hot tub at all.
I would definitely recommend the place for my friends and family, and I’d love to go back again.

We absolutely loved this airbnb. My husband and I needed a getaway to clear our minds and that’s exactly what we got. The view is beautiful we spent our mornings drinking coffee overlooking the mountain from the deck and our nights in the sunroom area by the main bedroom sipping wine doing the same. The hot tub was perfect especially since we went for hikes during the day. Tony made sure everything was great and was always super quick to respond!
One thing I will say is driveway is steep since you’re on a mountain I would be sure your comfortable going up something like that with your vehicle. For us when we first got there we panicked because it was such a sharp turn into the driveway that seemed impossible. Thankfully if you drive just a little bit further down the road there is a spot to turn around and coming back the driveway is way easier to access! We made it up no problem in an old truck without four-wheel drive.

This cabin is a great getaway, snuggled up on the mountainside. A great view from all decks. The main level has easy access from kitchen to deck, where there is a nice patio table. Upstairs there is a nice sunroom off the bedroom.
The hot tub and fire pit are secluded and have a great view of the stars.
Access to highways to visit local areas was good.

The view is unbeatable from the upper deck and the hot tub was a great addition. The house is off the beaten path and in the woods so you feel really out of the hustle for sure. The driveway is a bit steep so just be prepared.

We stayed for one night over Memorial Day with three of our sons. The location was quiet, the hot tub was clean (and hot!), and the view was lovely. However, even though we said there would be five of us, there were only four towels. There are two pullout couches but there was only one bottom sheet, no flat sheets, and no extra pillows. The listing says “sleeps 6” but this felt more like “sleeps 4.” Also, the place needs some TLC. 3/4 of the latches on the hot tub cover are broken. The ceiling fan in the loft doesn’t work. The “Connect Four” game is broken and the foosball is missing its ball. There’s not a lot to do around the area, and we were excited about playing games together, so those little things were disappointing.
Tony was responsive about the sheets/towels and asked the cleaning lady to deliver some, but she did not. He refunded us $50, which was nice, but sharing towels and using couch cushions as pillows wasn’t what we envisioned—hence the four stars.

He recommended some hiking spots which were really nice and beautiful. Overall he was very helpful and caring during our stay and did his best to make sure everything went well.
The place is how it looks like in the pictures. Some of the board games are a little worn down, but overall everything was in great shape.

The description of the cabin does not serve it justice.. my family and I did not want to leave.. the peaceful quiet with soft ambient distant sounds put us in a meditative state.
The hot tub was perfect, combined with the clean crisp cool mountain air, felt like we
were in a movie.
The Wood indoor fire place with crackling wood sounds, was perfect for a cup hot cocoa or select beverage of choice.
Amazing grill on the front balcony/deck with a view of land, mountain hills and trees in the day time for MILES!! …. Prepare to have your mind blown (because when the sun goes down) pure beautiful moonlight washed darkness with lights in the distance as far as you can see.. the kind of place you can live or retire and enjoy every minute..
I frequent cabins for specific moods this cabin is well placed in my top 5, I will be visiting again.

The hot tub is semi private, as there is a small fence, but neighbors house is right at the top of the driveway. The hot tub doesn’t heat while the jets are running, so if you need it hotter, you’re gonna need to turn up the temp and let it sit for 30-40 mins before getting in and running the jets. There is a sky light in the master bedroom upstairs. I hate skylights, but that’s just my opinion! Tiny bathroom and sink area. No place to set your belongings. Bring your own extra towels! We had one hand towel total!! Bring own hot tub towels.

This cabin in the woods is so cozy and has beautiful views! It was nice for a get away for the night 🙂 the host responded quick and was super helpful!
( I am glad that I didn’t bring my Cadillac just because I dont think it would’ve made it up the drive way or that area) it’s a pretty steep and long gravel driveway, we made it up fine in our suv. It was a wonderful time and I would stay again! 🙂

Tony’s cabin is an excellent getaway from the stresses of the city. It’s perched up a hill with a fantastic view over the mountains and is exceptionally quiet. The property has everything you’d need to relax in nature, surrounded by a forest with the cleanest air. If you have clear skies, the star gazing is quite fantastic.
There is a propane grill, ample lighting, a foosball table, hottub and 3 separate decks with seating to accommodate. Plenty of parking too!
If you aren’t familiar with hottubs like myself, just make sure to set the temperature 2-3 hours before you actually want to hop in it. Also check on it every 30 minutes or so to ensure it is heating up – we had an error code “DR” appear which reset the system back to 93 degrees without knowing, so just make sure it’s set to the proper temp and give it time to heat up. Once it gets hot though, it was A+, so relaxing. and you can tell it’s extremely clean. Loved the privacy wall with lighting too.

loved it! got there in the middle of the night, which made it hard to find. that’s my fault though, host talked me through how to get to the location. in the morning, it was obvious. what I get for last-minute escapes haha

Beautiful cabin in the woods! We loved the location and the property had all of the amenities listed. Didn’t use the hot tub but sitting outside on the porch was wonderful. Can’t wait to come back again!

My advice is that you rent a car if you are unsure of your city cars ability to climb a driveway haha. It is a lovely place and amazing view. Great hot tub! Excellent privacy and well maintained. There are occasional critters because it’s in the woods basically, but just name the stink bugs and then it’s a game 😄

The house was great. The view is amazing. The hot tub was our highlight. Tony was helpful and very responsive from beginning to end. The listing mentions a weak AT&T signal, but our Verizon signal was strong. We had absolutely no problems with connectivity. I recommend this stay to anyone considering it!

Positive:
This was a great location for us. We needed a pet-friendly stay on our northbound trip. This is easy to reach from I-81, maybe just 15 minutes away. Everything was clean and worked well, and the view over the valley was beautiful.
Negative:
I would have liked to be better prepared for the gravel driveway with a very steep grade and a sharp angle to enter. 4 wheel drive would work well. Also the house numbers are not in order, which was confusing.

The house was easy to get to, it has a very beautiful view, it was very clean, organised and cozy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen as well as everywhere else(bathroom and bedrooms).
Beautiful fireplace, brand new grill and the fire pit were all great to have.
The only thing we didn’t like about the inside was the flies on the upper level, we tried to spray them but there was more coming out from the windows frame, we decided not to use that space unfortunately, it was a beautiful room 🙁 though .
The hot tub was amazing, clean and new as well. the only thing we didn’t like about the outside was that the neighbours were too close (no privacy) in the hot tub at all.
I would definitely recommend the place for my friends and family, and I’d love to go back again.

We absolutely loved this airbnb. My husband and I needed a getaway to clear our minds and that’s exactly what we got. The view is beautiful we spent our mornings drinking coffee overlooking the mountain from the deck and our nights in the sunroom area by the main bedroom sipping wine doing the same. The hot tub was perfect especially since we went for hikes during the day. Tony made sure everything was great and was always super quick to respond!
One thing I will say is driveway is steep since you’re on a mountain I would be sure your comfortable going up something like that with your vehicle. For us when we first got there we panicked because it was such a sharp turn into the driveway that seemed impossible. Thankfully if you drive just a little bit further down the road there is a spot to turn around and coming back the driveway is way easier to access! We made it up no problem in an old truck without four-wheel drive.

This cabin is a great getaway, snuggled up on the mountainside. A great view from all decks. The main level has easy access from kitchen to deck, where there is a nice patio table. Upstairs there is a nice sunroom off the bedroom.
The hot tub and fire pit are secluded and have a great view of the stars.
Access to highways to visit local areas was good.
