The space and area was great. However, the beds and pillows felt like we were sleeping on rocks, I would recommend that if you’re going to stay here to at minimum bring your own pillows and if you have some mattress foam laying around, bring that too. While the space and area was gorgeous, we did not sleep well at all due to the mattresses and pillows.

Yes, Tony’s place is WORTH the stay. It’s a great cabin and he is a wonderful host. The lockbox was a bit janky though was fixed after 10 minutes. I had an amazing last minute stay with my girls. Thank you so much, again!

The place was great. it was beautiful. looked just like the pictures. Only complaints I have is the towels seemed a bit old and had a bit of a smoky smell and the light switches were a little confusing. It may be helpful if they were labeled

We arrived to the location and it was a beautiful sight. The chalet was clean & well maintained, parking was clear & spacious for us. The relaxing view from the deck after grilling and a nice soak in the hot tub was worth it in every way. Tony was very attentive to any concerns & we appreciate the house manual with info on things to do nearby.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was very private with beautiful surroundings. The loft set-up and large windows made this the perfect place to enjoy the inside of the cabin and not feel the need to leave the house. The hot tub was also very well kept and wonderful!

We wanted a quiet, dog-friendly getaway and this house was exactly right. Tony was always responsive and friendly, and provided a house manual that covered every question I could think of. The conveniences like coffee, towels, shower supplies, games, and a water stand for the dogs were thoughtful and helpful.

I have stayed at multiple cabins owned by this host and it’s always been great. They allow pets and are easy to talk to with quick responses. The surrounding area is beautiful and we loved Martinsburg would definitely come back.

Tony even let us check in early and reached out after our first night’s stay to see how it was and if we wanted any recommendations of places to go. My dog felt right at home also. This wonderful little chalet tucked away in the woods but convenient to local attractions, eateries, and entertainment was just what my husband and I were looking for to relax and recharge for a few days! We enjoyed spending time on the deck, by the fire pit and in the hot tub! The record player and games were also a nice touch! Tony’s chalet was well appointed and comfortable! Hopefully we can make it back another time!

This was just what we were looking for. It was close enough to everything we planned—Harper’s Ferry, Berkley Springs, Shepherdstown. It was quiet, and we appreciated the thoughtfulness of all the amenities. A hot tub makes it extra nice.

The only complaint I have is it got a little chilly and we couldn’t find extra blankets; it wasn’t quite turn the heat on weather but we did for a bit to get more comfortable. Other than that, which is simply preference, everything was perfect. The space is beautiful, secluded, has everything listed. Parking was interesting as we all drove separately and have larger vehicles, but we figured it out. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Bring what you need for the stay cook there and just relax. No need to leave a complete removal from the world around you. If you do want to go out Inwood and Martinsburg aren’t far off. Highly recommended!

Tony was great to work with! He was very helpful when I asked him for suggestions on the area, was proactive in getting me information, as well as responded quickly to my messages. He had everything in order at the place we stayed, so we honestly didn’t need to ask him for any help.

We had so much fun staying at Forest Haven. Spacious and full of light inside, it has a beautiful view out the large back windows. My son enjoyed all the amenities – the record player, ping pong, board games, and the jacuzzi! We brought our dog and she had a relaxing stay as well.
We had a great time hiking Devil’s Nose Trail (Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area) and the Ziler Loop Trail (Cacapon State Park).
The owner Tony was very responsive to several questions I had. I appreciate his quick responses. We would stay again!

We had a great time at Tony’s. Everything we needed was there. We were able to grill, use the hot tub, and enjoy the views. The house was a comfy space to spend some much needed time away with my girlfriend. It was a very pleasant and peaceful experience. Absolutely loved this little house! The giant windows and view are everything. It was the perfect, relaxing getaway. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Loved this house so much and appreciated the very reasonable cleanup rules compared to other airbnbs who ask you to strip the sheets and do laundry etc. Loved that there wasn’t an additional fee to bring our fur babies with us. They loved lounging in the deck.

Great stay for a peaceful few days. Kiddos enjoyed their stay as well. Not so far off the beaten path – convenient to groceries/restaurants and felt safe with other homes nearby but still gave a secluded/private feeling with home placement amongst the trees. Easy drive to several different hiking options. Home felt spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 kids and our dog. Tony was friendly and responsive via text/messaging in app.

The location was great and even with a few houses close by was very private. It was a great central location to travel to Berkeley Springs, Harper’s Ferry, and Winchester.
It was great to relax in the woods, on the deck, and in the hot tub. We also cooked a few meals and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dinnerware.
Overall, a great stay and would definitely stay again next time we are traveling in the area.

We loved our stay at Tony’s cabin. Good space for 2 couples and dog friendly, too! The hot tub was well cleaned and ready for use, fairly close to the door which was helpful in the cold. Beautiful deck and grill with chairs. Place felt fairly updated. Kitchen had some decent basics. Location great close to a main road and only a small amount on small dirt roads! Locational generally good near several cute small towns, wineries, breweries, and hiking.

Very nice, quaint cabin. Love the windows and deck. Well equipped kitchen. The decorations were modern but cozy. Memory foam bed was really comfortable. The fireplace is broken at the moment which was a little bit of a let down. We stayed 2 nights and only had one wash cloth. Also would have been nice to have a hand towel or 2 in the kitchen. At this price point this shouldn’t have been an issue. Offering early check in and late check out for an upcharge feels like a money grab. Overall, we really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Tony was an attentive host and responded quickly when we had questions about the area.

Great serene space! Highly recommend. Beautifully designed, comfortable, and felt cozy and safe throughout my stay. It’s a very relaxing space, peaceful surroundings and the huge windows let in so much light and a view during the day, but you can still get to grocery and some restaurants with about a 20 minute drive. The host was very responsive and helpful ahead of and during the stay, even recommending some local spots to go. If you’re traveling with a canine member of your crew, highly recommend bringing a small lantern or something for any nighttime bathroom trips as it’s real dark! Otherwise just enjoy this great space. Will definitely visit again.

The house and location was perfect for my fiancé and I and our dog! Spent about a 30 minute drive to check out Cacapon Resort State parks trails and view which was well worth the drive. the cabin was just spectacular. Tony was very quick to respond to all of our questions or concerns. The views were amazing being immersed in so much nature was so wonderful. Hearing and seeing all birds,Squirrels, chipmonks, and in the far off distance fromthe other side of the valley a lone wolf along the ridge line. This was all heard and seen from the deck. The views frome the living room looking out at night across the valley and watching the sun set behind the mountains were nothing short of breath.

Beds were comfy, kitchen amenities were plentiful, house was clean, the shower worked, the view was great, wifi was fast, hot tub was incredible, and everything just worked. We LOVED this cute cabin!! The amenities were everything we wanted and more. It was easy to cook here, and overall really wonderful! The only difficult part was that a snow storm came in and cut our trip short by a whole day and night, and unfortunately we still had to pay for it. We were bummed that our stay was cut short because it truly was so great!

This is a great place to stay with your dog! For us we are always looking for secluded places to stay with our dog because she is a guard dog and will bark if she things there are people/animals intruding in our space. I wish we could have gotten in earlier to enjoy the amenities, even still it was a great place for us to catch some sleep on our long holiday travel days.

Cannot say enough about this cabin in the woods! It was the perfect size for our family of three and our dog! The surroundings made for a peaceful vacation away from the hustle. We loved staying here on our way from NC to NY. Really nice design while keeping the original A-Frame aesthetic. Great location in the WV woods – quiet and private and nice to walk along the road with the dog. Our dog loved hanging on the deck, sniffing and smelling the woods. I even got my husband (who hates games) to play Madlibs!
We didn’t use the hot tub, but we had nice, hot showers after a long drive. Relatively close to groceries and other amenities, while still being rural and private.
We would definitely stay here again, and would love to spend time exploring the area.

We had a great stay at Tony’s place! It was an easy drive (~45 mins) to Harpers Ferry and various other hiking and sights. The house would be perfect for two couples and the bathroom is ideally located on the first floor off the kitchen/dining room (wasn’t clear in the pictures). The host is great at communication and reached out several times with Check-in instructions and to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay! Even though this was a stopover for one night on our road trip we absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was thoughtfully decorated and stocked. We loved the windows in the morning to look out with our coffee and the hot tub was so amazing and relaxing after a long drive. A lovely, quiet, fall mountain stay with our dog. The property was very clean, and we enjoyed some of the original chalet design with some modern updates. We were able to explore civil war history, wineries, and breweries within 20 to 45 mins distance. Tony also has great communication. Would gladly stay again.

This is such a lovely home – it’s well decorated and ideally located for a mountain getaway. The beds are comfortable, the windows gigantic, and a full kitchen allowed us to make dinners after long days of hiking. Our favorite part of the evening was to watch the sunset from the deck and relax in the hot tub afterwards. The stairs are steep to the loft, so be mindful to stay in the downstairs bedroom if you have trouble with stairs.
This was our first trip to WV and the location was perfect for us – not too far removed that we felt stranded, but far enough away that we felt like we were secluded. We were centrally located to travel to Harper’s Ferry NHP, Winchester, VA, the C&O Canal route, and several smaller parks and locations.

This was a great weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of DC life. Only a couple hours away. Lots of privacy. There are neighbors nearby, but far enough away that you feel like you’ve got some seclusion. Place was as advertised and Tony has good communication. I’d stay here again.

The space and area was great. However, the beds and pillows felt like we were sleeping on rocks, I would recommend that if you’re going to stay here to at minimum bring your own pillows and if you have some mattress foam laying around, bring that too. While the space and area was gorgeous, we did not sleep well at all due to the mattresses and pillows.

This wonderful little chalet tucked away in the woods but convenient to local attractions, eateries, and entertainment was just what my husband and I were looking for to relax and recharge for a few days! The only complaint I have is it got a little chilly and we couldn’t find extra blankets; it wasn’t quite turn the heat on weather but we did for a bit to get more comfortable. Other than that, which is simply preference, everything was perfect. The space is beautiful, secluded, has everything listed. Parking was interesting as we all drove separately and have larger vehicles, but we figured it out. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

We had so much fun staying at Forest Haven. Spacious and full of light inside, it has a beautiful view out the large back windows. My son enjoyed all the amenities – the record player, ping pong, board games, and the jacuzzi! We brought our dog and she had a relaxing stay as well.
We had a great time hiking Devil’s Nose Trail (Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area) and the Ziler Loop Trail (Cacapon State Park).
The owner Tony was very responsive to several questions I had. I appreciate his quick responses. We would stay again!

The location was great and even with a few houses close by was very private. It was a great central location to travel to Berkeley Springs, Harper's Ferry, and Winchester.
It was great to relax in the woods, on the deck, and in the hot tub. We also cooked a few meals and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dinnerware.

The fireplace is broken at the moment which was a little bit of a let down. We stayed 2 nights and only had one wash cloth. Also would have been nice to have a hand towel or 2 in the kitchen. At this price point this shouldn’t have been an issue. Offering early check in and late check out for an upcharge feels like a money grab. Overall, we really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Tony was an attentive host and responded quickly when we had questions about the area.

It’s a very relaxing space, peaceful surroundings and the huge windows let in so much light and a view during the day, but you can still get to grocery and some restaurants with about a 20 minute drive. The host was very responsive and helpful ahead of and during the stay, even recommending some local spots to go. If you’re traveling with a canine member of your crew, highly recommend bringing a small lantern or something for any nighttime bathroom trips as it’s real dark! Otherwise just enjoy this great space. Will definitely visit again.

Hearing and seeing all birds,Squirrels, chipmonks, and in the far off distance fromthe other side of the valley a lone wolf along the ridge line. This was all heard and seen from the deck. Cannot say enough about this cabin in the woods! It was the perfect size for our family of three and our dog! The surroundings made for a peaceful vacation away from the hustle. We loved staying here on our way from NC to NY. Really nice design while keeping the original A-Frame aesthetic. Great location in the WV woods - quiet and private and nice to walk along the road with the dog. Our dog loved hanging on the deck, sniffing and smelling the woods. I even got my husband (who hates games) to play Madlibs!
We didn't use the hot tub, but we had nice, hot showers after a long drive. Relatively close to groceries and other amenities, while still being rural and private.
We would definitely stay here again, and would love to spend time exploring the area.

We had a great stay at Tony’s place! It was an easy drive (~45 mins) to Harpers Ferry and various other hiking and sights. The house would be perfect for two couples and the bathroom is ideally located on the first floor off the kitchen/dining room (wasn’t clear in the pictures). The host is great at communication and reached out several times with Check-in instructions and to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

A lovely, quiet, fall mountain stay with our dog. The property was very clean, and we enjoyed some of the original chalet design with some modern updates. This is such a lovely home - it’s well decorated and ideally located for a mountain getaway. The beds are comfortable, the windows gigantic, and a full kitchen allowed us to make dinners after long days of hiking. Our favorite part of the evening was to watch the sunset from the deck and relax in the hot tub afterwards. The stairs are steep to the loft, so be mindful to stay in the downstairs bedroom if you have trouble with stairs.
This was our first trip to WV and the location was perfect for us - not too far removed that we felt stranded, but far enough away that we felt like we were secluded. We were centrally located to travel to Harper’s Ferry NHP, Winchester, VA, the C&O Canal route, and several smaller parks and locations.

This was a great weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of DC life. Only a couple hours away. Lots of privacy. There are neighbors nearby, but far enough away that you feel like you’ve got some seclusion. Place was as advertised and Tony has good communication. I’d stay here again.

We had so much fun staying at Forest Haven. Spacious and full of light inside, it has a beautiful view out the large back windows. My son enjoyed all the amenities – the record player, ping pong, board games, and the jacuzzi! We brought our dog and she had a relaxing stay as well.
We had a great time hiking Devil’s Nose Trail (Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area) and the Ziler Loop Trail (Cacapon State Park).

The fireplace is broken at the moment which was a little bit of a let down. We stayed 2 nights and only had one wash cloth. Also would have been nice to have a hand towel or 2 in the kitchen. At this price point this shouldn’t have been an issue. Offering early check in and late check out for an upcharge feels like a money grab. Overall, we really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Tony was an attentive host and responded quickly when we had questions about the area.

It’s a very relaxing space, peaceful surroundings and the huge windows let in so much light and a view during the day, but you can still get to grocery and some restaurants with about a 20 minute drive. If you’re traveling with a canine member of your crew, highly recommend bringing a small lantern or something for any nighttime bathroom trips as it’s real dark! Tony’s cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for my boyfriend and I and our 2 pups. We loved the location and the surrounding area and we loved relaxing in the hot tub. Highly recommend.

Great little cabin for a getaway. Inwood is only 15 minutes away if you want to do some shopping or go to a restaurant. Beds were comfy, kitchen amenities were plentiful, house was clean, the shower worked, the view was great, wifi was fast, hot tub was incredible, and everything just worked. Overall a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend.

Tony was amazing! He was very friendly and responsive. We had several questions about check-in, recommendations, etc. and he provided thoughtful responses. The airbnb was exactly what we were hoping – a cozy getaway in the mountains. Definitely recommend!

Tony’s place was exactly what we needed for our night away! Beautiful view of the sunset. The hot tub was amazing & the beds were decently comfortable.

We LOVED this cute cabin!! The amenities were everything we wanted and more. It was easy to cook here, and overall really wonderful! The only difficult part was that a snow storm came in and cut our trip short by a whole day and night, and unfortunately we still had to pay for it. We were bummed that our stay was cut short because it truly was so great!

This is a great place to stay with your dog! For us we are always looking for secluded places to stay with our dog because she is a guard dog and will bark if she things there are people/animals intruding in our space. I wish we could have gotten in earlier to enjoy the amenities, even still it was a great place for us to catch some sleep on our long holiday travel days.

Tony is a great host, the house was even better than we expected. The location was amazing and the view was gorgeous. We loved that we could bring our puppy with us. All the amenities were as described and our stay was perfect. Now we are checking more of Tony’s properties to schedule our next escape!! Thank you Tony for making our stay amazing!

A nice quiet cabin. There were others within eyesight, but it felt like we were deep in the woods. Grocery store was 15 minutes away and good restaurants within 30 minutes. The cabin was clean and the owner was responsive. A+

Loved this place! Wish we could have stayed longer. It’s located in a really peaceful area and the hot tub is definitely a great addition.
The huge windows are wonderful to wake up to. I would 1005 recommend this place to anyone staying in West Virginia.

Cannot say enough about this cabin in the woods! It was the perfect size for our family of three and our dog! The surroundings made for a peaceful vacation away from the hustle. The hot tub was an amazing way to relax and keep warm on a chilly autumn morning or late evening. Tony was more than helpful and responded, sometime within minutes! 100% would stay again.

We loved staying here on our way from NC to NY. Really nice design while keeping the original A-Frame aesthetic. Great location in the WV woods – quiet and private and nice to walk along the road with the dog. Our dog loved hanging on the deck, sniffing and smelling the woods. I even got my husband (who hates games) to play Madlibs!
We didn’t use the hot tub, but we had nice, hot showers after a long drive. Relatively close to groceries and other amenities, while still being rural and private.
We would definitely stay here again, and would love to spend time exploring the area.

We had a great stay at Tony’s place! It was an easy drive (~45 mins) to Harpers Ferry and various other hiking and sights. The house would be perfect for two couples and the bathroom is ideally located on the first floor off the kitchen/dining room (wasn’t clear in the pictures). The host is great at communication and reached out several times with Check-in instructions and to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay! Even though this was a stopover for one night on our road trip we absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was thoughtfully decorated and stocked. We loved the windows in the morning to look out with our coffee and the hot tub was so amazing and relaxing after a long drive. Tony was a great host; he had amazing communication with me prior to arrival and made it such an easy process for us. A lovely, quiet, fall mountain stay with our dog. The property was very clean, and we enjoyed some of the original chalet design with some modern updates. We were able to explore civil war history, wineries, and breweries within 20 to 45 mins distance. Tony also has great communication. Would gladly stay again.

This is such a lovely home – it’s well decorated and ideally located for a mountain getaway. The beds are comfortable, the windows gigantic, and a full kitchen allowed us to make dinners after long days of hiking. Our favorite part of the evening was to watch the sunset from the deck and relax in the hot tub afterwards. The stairs are steep to the loft, so be mindful to stay in the downstairs bedroom if you have trouble with stairs.
This was our first trip to WV and the location was perfect for us – not too far removed that we felt stranded, but far enough away that we felt like we were secluded. We were centrally located to travel to Harper’s Ferry NHP, Winchester, VA, the C&O Canal route, and several smaller parks and locations.

This was a great weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of DC life. Only a couple hours away. Lots of privacy. There are neighbors nearby, but far enough away that you feel like you’ve got some seclusion. Place was as advertised and Tony has good communication. I’d stay here again.

Recommend going to Cacapon state park for a hike and driving up to over look. It’s really beautiful!

Squirrel Cabin is a beautiful secluded chalet with a lovely deck and a hot tub. All the comforts of home away from home. We will definitely consider other properties hosted by Tony when we travel.

The space and area was great. However, the beds and pillows felt like we were sleeping on rocks, I would recommend that if you’re going to stay here to at minimum bring your own pillows and if you have some mattress foam laying around, bring that too. While the space and area was gorgeous, we did not sleep well at all due to the mattresses and pillows.

Yes, Tony’s place is WORTH the stay. It’s a great cabin and he is a wonderful host. The lockbox was a bit janky though was fixed after 10 minutes. I had an amazing last minute stay with my girls. Thank you so much, again!

We had a great time at Tony’s place. It was cozy. Our favorite thing to do was listen to music while sitting on the couch and looking at the trees in the floor to ceiling windows. The hot tub was a nice addition.
