The firepit isnt ideal location and our stay did have lots of booming noises which was unexpected.

This place is a great find! You get a 2 story view overlooking a forested valley, a hot tub, fire pit, and 2 different beds. Streaming was available and heat worked well. Was lucky enough to get an extra day discounted because we were able to see the snow blanketing the view out of the large glass window the morning we left. Felt very peaceful, and has a lot of great hiking spots nearby. Relitively cheap as well.

This place is an amazing lil spot in the woods if your a book lover this is really the place for you! I used the grill and made some good T-bone! The bay windows were amazing to look out all day just so wish they were a little cleaner on the top. The WiFi was good picky at times but your out in the mountains. The shower head was amazing! Just try an use fast cuz cold water comes fast! Ahaha just have to move the handle a little and warms back up.
Everthing in the kitchen works very well. The beds are very very comfortable. We also used the hot top it felt amazing! It was cold out an felt good just to relax in the warm water and enjoy nature. We didn’t see very much wild life but it is in the start of winter we saw some cute deer and squirrels lots of birds. My only thing about the whole house that I disliked is the wood staircase going up to the bedroom every time I went up them I felt like my foot was about to go through they definitely do need to be redone there weak and to steep.

Check-in was a bit confusing (got messages for offers that turned out to not be available), but everything else was seamless and easy. Tony was super responsive each and every time I reached out. The home is beautiful and the surroundings are peaceful and serene. The hot tub was a nice bonus. We would gladly stay here again.

The home was beautiful! Everything in the chalet was super clean and aesthetic. The hot tub was great! The steps leading to the upstairs bedroom were a little steep and short especially going down them. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean and had a lot of amenities. The deck view was super pretty too!

My fiancé and I booked Tony’s place last minute as we were traveling north and hit an awful snowstorm. Tony was quick to respond and got us booked quickly! It is actually our third time at one of Tony’s properties and they have all been great. We were able to relax and enjoy the hot tub. The house was clean and comfortable! Will definitely check Tony’s listings again when we are in the area next!

We loved this little hideaway in the woods! We were lucky enough to visit during a light snowfall and it made the place feel so magical. The hot tub was lovely, and the bed was cozy. We were a little sad that the gas fireplace wasn’t working, but the heater was efficient and we weren’t cold at all. Overall, it was a fantastic spot to get away from the city for a night, and our dog Luna loved it too! It was a very nice touch to see that the owner had dog bowls ready for use in the cabin.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tony’s cabin! We booked last-minute after winter weather cancelled our longer road trip plans, and we liked it so much we added on a second night. Tony was very responsive and made the extension absolutely seamless. The cabin was very clean, well furnished, and nice and warm! The fireplace was working which was a great bonus. We also enjoyed the hot tub which was very clean and hot despite the snow and cold weather! I’d definitely book again.

I would definitely recommend this spot for a quite little trip away. It’s not to secluded that you don’t have visible neighbors, but the homes are distanced enough that you still feel separated. The location is close enough to larger areas that you have the option to go into town should you choose. The home itself is cozy and was exactly as described. The fireplace and hot tub both worked very well and were greatly appreciated during our cold, Christmas holiday away. I also appreciate that the host has a couple of dog toys and bowls for your four-legged friend. The beds were firm and very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, cutlery for cooking. I would recommend bringing your own spices, foil, baking sheets, if you need them. Tony, the host, was very responsive and answered all of my pestering questions leading up to our stay. I would definitely recommend this space.

Great place for a gate-away near DC. Nice cabin in the mountain with all amenities to enjoy a short stay with your couple or family. Place full place to recharge batteries. We had a nice long weekend there full of good memories. Tony was always available and contacted to ensure that our stay was pleasant.

The space and area was great. However, the beds and pillows felt like we were sleeping on rocks, I would recommend that if you’re going to stay here to at minimum bring your own pillows and if you have some mattress foam laying around, bring that too. While the space and area was gorgeous, we did not sleep well at all due to the mattresses and pillows.

Yes, Tony’s place is WORTH the stay. It’s a great cabin and he is a wonderful host. The lockbox was a bit janky though was fixed after 10 minutes. I had an amazing last minute stay with my girls. Thank you so much, again!

We had a great time at Tony’s place. It was cozy. Our favorite thing to do was listen to music while sitting on the couch and looking at the trees in the floor to ceiling windows. The hot tub was a nice addition.

We arrived to the location and it was a beautiful sight. The chalet was clean & well maintained, parking was clear & spacious for us. This wonderful little chalet tucked away in the woods but convenient to local attractions, eateries, and entertainment was just what my husband and I were looking for to relax and recharge for a few days! We enjoyed spending time on the deck, by the fire pit and in the hot tub! The record player and games were also a nice touch! Tony’s chalet was well appointed and comfortable! Hopefully we can make it back another time!

The only complaint I have is it got a little chilly and we couldn’t find extra blankets; it wasn’t quite turn the heat on weather but we did for a bit to get more comfortable. Other than that, which is simply preference, everything was perfect. The space is beautiful, secluded, has everything listed. Parking was interesting as we all drove separately and have larger vehicles, but we figured it out. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Bring what you need for the stay cook there and just relax. No need to leave a complete removal from the world around you. If you do want to go out Inwood and Martinsburg aren’t far off. Highly recommended!

Tony was great to work with! He was very helpful when I asked him for suggestions on the area, was proactive in getting me information, as well as responded quickly to my messages. He had everything in order at the place we stayed, so we honestly didn’t need to ask him for any help.

We had so much fun staying at Forest Haven. Spacious and full of light inside, it has a beautiful view out the large back windows. My son enjoyed all the amenities – the record player, ping pong, board games, and the jacuzzi! We brought our dog and she had a relaxing stay as well.
We had a great time hiking Devil’s Nose Trail (Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area) and the Ziler Loop Trail (Cacapon State Park).
The owner Tony was very responsive to several questions I had. I appreciate his quick responses. We would stay again!

We had a great time at Tony’s. Everything we needed was there. We were able to grill, use the hot tub, and enjoy the views. The house was a comfy space to spend some much needed time away with my girlfriend. It was a very pleasant and peaceful experience. We would definitely go back during a different season to experience the differences a season can bring.

Absolutely loved this little house! The giant windows and view are everything. It was the perfect, relaxing getaway. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Loved this house so much and appreciated the very reasonable cleanup rules compared to other airbnbs who ask you to strip the sheets and do laundry etc. Loved that there wasn’t an additional fee to bring our fur babies with us. They loved lounging in the deck.

Great stay for a peaceful few days. Kiddos enjoyed their stay as well. Not so far off the beaten path – convenient to groceries/restaurants and felt safe with other homes nearby but still gave a secluded/private feeling with home placement amongst the trees. Easy drive to several different hiking options. Home felt spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 kids and our dog. Tony was friendly and responsive via text/messaging in app.

The location was great and even with a few houses close by was very private. It was a great central location to travel to Berkeley Springs, Harper’s Ferry, and Winchester.
It was great to relax in the woods, on the deck, and in the hot tub. We also cooked a few meals and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dinnerware.
Overall, a great stay and would definitely stay again next time we are traveling in the area.

We loved our stay at Tony’s cabin. Good space for 2 couples and dog friendly, too! The hot tub was well cleaned and ready for use, fairly close to the door which was helpful in the cold. Beautiful deck and grill with chairs. Place felt fairly updated. Kitchen had some decent basics. Location great close to a main road and only a small amount on small dirt roads! Locational generally good near several cute small towns, wineries, breweries, and hiking.

Very nice, quaint cabin. Love the windows and deck. Well equipped kitchen. The decorations were modern but cozy. Memory foam bed was really comfortable. The fireplace is broken at the moment which was a little bit of a let down. We stayed 2 nights and only had one wash cloth. Also would have been nice to have a hand towel or 2 in the kitchen. At this price point this shouldn’t have been an issue. Offering early check in and late check out for an upcharge feels like a money grab. Overall, we really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Tony was an attentive host and responded quickly when we had questions about the area.

This place is a great find! You get a 2 story view overlooking a forested valley, a hot tub, fire pit, and 2 different beds. Streaming was available and heat worked well. Was lucky enough to get an extra day discounted because we were able to see the snow blanketing the view out of the large glass window the morning we left. Felt very peaceful, and has a lot of great hiking spots nearby. Relitively cheap as well.

This place is an amazing lil spot in the woods if your a book lover this is really the place for you! I used the grill and made some good T-bone! The bay windows were amazing to look out all day just so wish they were a little cleaner on the top. The WiFi was good picky at times but your out in the mountains. The shower head was amazing! Just try an use fast cuz cold water comes fast! Ahaha just have to move the handle a little and warms back up.
Everthing in the kitchen works very well. The beds are very very comfortable. We also used the hot top it felt amazing! It was cold out an felt good just to relax in the warm water and enjoy nature. We didn’t see very much wild life but it is in the start of winter we saw some cute deer and squirrels lots of birds. My only thing about the whole house that I disliked is the wood staircase going up to the bedroom every time I went up them I felt like my foot was about to go through they definitely do need to be redone there weak and to steep.

The property itself is in a beautiful location—super private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. The big windows throughout the house really made it feel like we were living in the forest, which we loved.
That said, there were a few issues that made it hard to fully enjoy our stay. The hot tub wasn’t hot, which was disappointing, especially since we were looking forward to relaxing in it. There was also no hot water for the shower, and the shower floor still had soap stuck to it, which didn’t feel very clean. The BBQ grill wasn’t working, and the AC/heat didn’t seem to be operating at full capacity, so the temperature inside wasn’t very comfortable at times.
Overall, it’s a very pretty house in an amazing outdoor setting—but a few maintenance issues, both minor and more significant, definitely took away from the experience. With some improvements, this place could be incredible.

Tony's place leaves a lot to be desired. We arrived to find the previous guest's food in the microwave. There is a lot of patch work in the place, curtains missing from the rods that were placed, and a table with holes in the laminate that is an eyesore. After seeing the quality, lack of cleanliness, and the previous guest's coffee and hot pocket in the microwave, we chose to end our stay early. We asked for a potential refund and received a partial refund (which is more than we expected).
Overall, I think this place needs some investment to be worth near the amount we were charged.

The home was beautiful! Everything in the chalet was super clean and aesthetic. The hot tub was great! The steps leading to the upstairs bedroom were a little steep and short especially going down them. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean and had a lot of amenities. The deck view was super pretty too!

We loved this little hideaway in the woods! We were lucky enough to visit during a light snowfall and it made the place feel so magical. The hot tub was lovely, and the bed was cozy. We were a little sad that the gas fireplace wasn’t working, but the heater was efficient and we weren’t cold at all. Overall, it was a fantastic spot to get away from the city for a night, and our dog Luna loved it too! It was a very nice touch to see that the owner had dog bowls ready for use in the cabin.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tony’s cabin! We booked last-minute after winter weather cancelled our longer road trip plans, and we liked it so much we added on a second night. Tony was very responsive and made the extension absolutely seamless. The cabin was very clean, well furnished, and nice and warm! The fireplace was working which was a great bonus. I would definitely recommend this spot for a quite little trip away. It's not to secluded that you don't have visible neighbors, but the homes are distanced enough that you still feel separated. The location is close enough to larger areas that you have the option to go into town should you choose. The home itself is cozy and was exactly as described. The fireplace and hot tub both worked very well and were greatly appreciated during our cold, Christmas holiday away. I also appreciate that the host has a couple of dog toys and bowls for your four-legged friend. The beds were firm and very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, cutlery for cooking. I would recommend bringing your own spices, foil, baking sheets, if you need them. Tony, the host, was very responsive and answered all of my pestering questions leading up to our stay. I would definitely recommend this space.

Great place for a gate-away near DC. Nice cabin in the mountain with all amenities to enjoy a short stay with your couple or family. Place full place to recharge batteries. However, the beds and pillows felt like we were sleeping on rocks, I would recommend that if you’re going to stay here to at minimum bring your own pillows and if you have some mattress foam laying around, bring that too. While the space and area was gorgeous, we did not sleep well at all due to the mattresses and pillows.

The only complaint I have is it got a little chilly and we couldn’t find extra blankets; it wasn’t quite turn the heat on weather but we did for a bit to get more comfortable. Other than that, which is simply preference, everything was perfect. The space is beautiful, secluded, has everything listed. Parking was interesting as we all drove separately and have larger vehicles, but we figured it out. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

We had so much fun staying at Forest Haven. Spacious and full of light inside, it has a beautiful view out the large back windows. My son enjoyed all the amenities – the record player, ping pong, board games, and the jacuzzi! We brought our dog and she had a relaxing stay as well.
We had a great time hiking Devil’s Nose Trail (Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area) and the Ziler Loop Trail (Cacapon State Park).
The owner Tony was very responsive to several questions I had. I appreciate his quick responses. We would stay again!

Loved this house so much and appreciated the very reasonable cleanup rules compared to other airbnbs who ask you to strip the sheets and do laundry etc. Loved that there wasn’t an additional fee to bring our fur babies with us. They loved lounging in the deck.

Great stay for a peaceful few days. Kiddos enjoyed their stay as well. Not so far off the beaten path - convenient to groceries/restaurants and felt safe with other homes nearby but still gave a secluded/private feeling with home placement amongst the trees. Easy drive to several different hiking options. Home felt spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 kids and our dog. Tony was friendly and responsive via text/messaging in app.

The location was great and even with a few houses close by was very private. It was a great central location to travel to Berkeley Springs, Harper's Ferry, and Winchester.
It was great to relax in the woods, on the deck, and in the hot tub. We also cooked a few meals and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dinnerware.
Overall, a great stay and would definitely stay again next time we are traveling in the area.

We loved our stay at Tony’s cabin. Good space for 2 couples and dog friendly, too! The hot tub was well cleaned and ready for use, fairly close to the door which was helpful in the cold. We were unable to reach Tony’s place due to a downed tree blocking access one street from the home during a torrential rainstorm. Tony did not respond to any communication (phone, text, and messaging in the app) and has refused to reimburse us for our missed reservation. If all goes perfectly with your reservation, I’m sure this is a great place to stay. If anything goes wrong — including a circumstance like ours, well beyond control — you can expect total silence as a strategy to avoid reimbursement.

We enjoyed our stay! It’s a bit of a drive from Harper’s Ferry but worth it to relax in the hot tub after a long hike. Cozy and peaceful cabin with a beautiful view.

Very nice, quaint cabin. Love the windows and deck. Well equipped kitchen. The decorations were modern but cozy. Memory foam bed was really comfortable. The fireplace is broken at the moment which was a little bit of a let down. We stayed 2 nights and only had one wash cloth. Also would have been nice to have a hand towel or 2 in the kitchen. At this price point this shouldn’t have been an issue. Offering early check in and late check out for an upcharge feels like a money grab. Overall, we really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Tony was an attentive host and responded quickly when we had questions about the area.

This place was beautiful and so peaceful! I would 10/10 recommend. I hope we get a chance to come back and visit again!
