Stay was fine. We were there for an extended weekend. Nice area.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Tony’s place! It felt homey & relaxing!!

Older cabin with some nice, aesthetic upgrades. View from the screened in porch was beautiful. I did discover a shower full of ants upon arrival – the cabin is in the woods, so not shocking- but still unpleasant. When I turned the shower on to rinse it out, the handle came off in my hand. The neighbors were quiet during the week, but it was a bit noisy on the Sunday of my stay. While my visit started off a bit rocky, the rest of my stay was uneventful – which is exactly what I was hoping for! Tony was a respectful host and helpful with his recommendations.

Tony’s space was awesome! Check in was made really easy. Instructions for everything was broken down and easy to follow. The space was clean when we arrived. My wife and I really enjoyed the stay.

From booking to leaving the cabin, this trip was exactly what my family needed. The cabin was very, very comfortable and welcoming- Tony definitely thought about so much to help guests not only enjoy their stay but give a feeling of a home away from home type of rental. He was responsive and helpful throughout the booking and visit as well. The house is decorated so nicely and if you want to enjoy time outside with your family, this place is it! Quiet neighborhood, river to fish, grill, plenty of yard space and a pool table. This was our first Airbnb and it was lovely. I’ve already referred Tony and this cabin to my friends and family.

Well worth the price and accurate

A lovely, modern little cabin not too far from DC. Immersed in nature, with a river right behind it. Tony was very communicative. There were other houses around, but it wasn’t a big distraction but also meant it’s not the 100% romantic cabin getaway one sometimes imagined. Overall though we’d definitely recommend it, nothing amiss and very clean space and everything one might need in the kitchen too.

Tony’s place was very clean and he was very responsive. We had a great time and stay at his place. We enjoyed watching the snow and using his gas fire place. We also did outdoor adventures that were nearby. This would be a place that we would come back to in the warmer months as well as winter months.

Thank you to Tony for being a great and flexible host. We had to adjust stay dates because of weather beyond our control. Tony stayed in communication and I was very appreciative of his efforts to keep me informed. We were able to adjust my stay and it worked out well.

Very peaceful stay

This is how AirBnB’s should be modeled. Comfortable furniture, nicely appointed kitchen and bathroom, actual tile and hardwood flooring. Enjoyed staying here and hanging out with my family during the holiday season. The road the cabin is on needs some repair but that didn’t take away from the peaceful surroundings.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay in WV. Loved to get away from the big city to experience Appalachia!

Had a great time. The location was off the beaten path, and while there were houses around, there wasn’t much activity, so it was still pretty private. Amenities were as described, and communication was helpful and proactive. Would happily stay again.

It was a great getaway location

We visited this airbnb for a few days at the beginning of November for a few days to see Appalachia and get more of a local nature stay feel. We had perfect weather and the nature of the surrounding area is breathtaking. This airbnb is in a secluded area with a few other neighbors around and was nice & quiet except for the occasional neighbor playing the Appalachian radio station which was actually quite nice. We loved having access to the bonfire pit, grill and big yard with outdoor eating spaces. The inside was so cozy and comfortable. I do wish there were some extra blankets and that the water pressure was better in the bathroom shower and kitchen since there is no dishwasher. There were some bugs that we noticed in the kitchen/living room – mostly gnats and some ants, which I understand are hard to avoid being in such a heavily wooded area with so many bugs attracted to the lights. All in all, we enjoyed our trip and were glad to have an affordable cute & cozy place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Tony’s riverfront cabin. The house was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. Although we stayed for only one night, my family agreed it was an excellent choice, and we would definitely recommend it to our friends.

We did a ladies trip and it couldn’t of been any more perfect. It did get a bit cold while we were there so we couldn’t fish or play a game of pool but it’s ok because we got out and about and saw some absolutely beautiful fall foliage, casinos and shopping. There was alot of laughing and we made great memories. This was our 1st Wv experience and we do plan on coming back to Back Creek Cabin. Thank you Tony for being a great host!

We had an amazing stay here! Would definitely come back! Tony was always extremely fast to respond to any questions before and during our trip! He provided an extremely helpful manual beforehand that definitely helped us out a lot! The house is very nicely updated, spotless when we arrived, beds were comfortable, and the house had the cozy feel we were looking for. We cooked every day, the kitchen was perfect for what we needed. My dog absolutely loved all the space to play and roam outside. She made sure that we spent every last moment soaking up the sunshine outside playing fetch There were a couple of fantastic hikes nearby, we decided to try out Devil’s Nose and the view was gorgeous!

If you are looking for a sleeping place to use as a jumping off point for adventures, it might not be the perfect fit. This was a really lovely cabin to stay in. We went with two couples. It was a good size and had a nice office/tiny third bedroom space. The living area was cosy, as was the porch and the under the house social area. Kitchen was well appointed. Tony was responsive and helpful. The road was serene and nice. The downside of the location is that there is not much to do within walking distance. You cannot walk to any hikes, as the road it is on is right off of a highway with no sidewalks. You have to drive about 20 minutes to restaurants and activities. If you are looking to spend nice quiet time in the woods, this is a great cabin.

It rained almost everyday of our stay so the pool table and swing under the house were great! The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. Stores and restaurants are minutes away. River was a little hard to access.

The River Cabin is a beautiful, serene place in Hedgesville, WV. It is very quiet space and down a private gravel road. The only noises were the nature which surrounded us. There are great amenities, including a full kitchen. It’s centrally located to Berkeley Springs and Martinsburg, where we explored the town, fun breweries and shops. A great space for a family, couple or friends.

We had a great weekend! Beautiful property and very attentive and helpful owners! Can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I booked a last minute getaway and this cabin worked well for us. It was clean, plenty of space for the two of us. We enjoyed peaceful evenings in the backyard around the fire and the quiet surroundings. The other houses were within sight so we weren’t secluded but also didn’t see the neighbors at all and had a huge back yard area. The creek in the back was nice but was not a river for floating or swimming as it was rather shallow. The space under the house was fun to have with a pool table and swing for relaxing. We appreciated the recommendations from Tony in the area as well. We explored Berkley Springs for hiking and lunch.

Great place to stay

Cabin was well appointed and extremely clean! We loved the river but water shoes are a must and the water access could be challenging for some (stairs and a steep ladder). Although you can see neighbors it was very peaceful and quiet, the neighbors that we did meet were very friendly. We would definitely come back!

What a quiet and relaxing place to get away from hustle and bustle of cities. Right on river. Lots to do at place, don’t even need to leave.

I would definitely recommend staying here. Although the neighboring houses were a bit closer than I’d expected, the house still felt very secluded and it was so so peaceful. Every day you could spot deer, foxes and rabbits, and waking up to birdsong (and a nearby rooster) wasn’t so bad either. The screened-in porch was amazing for relaxing whether in the morning or at night, and the outdoor space with pool table was awesome as well. One thing I’ll mention is that the creek out back is super rocky and shallow and not ideal for swimming. But if you bring water shoes and an inner tube it is deep enough to at least float around a bit, which we did plenty of. There is also a much deeper section at the end of the road that is great for swimming and even has a rope swing!

Pros: tranquil location, house beautifully furnished and well-equipped, property well-kept with different wildlife passing through, and short drive to restaurants, grocery store, hiking, and historic towns. Con: creek access isn’t ideal for kids/dog.

I was immediately impressed the moment we arrived! The cabin looks just like the photos! This was the perfect place to get away and relax for a few days! The inside was beautiful and had everything we needed! We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay. We brought tubes for the river and had a blast every evening on the river. Recommend water shoes. The cabin was gorgeous, comfortable, and well stocked. We brought food and the kitchen was a pleasure to use. The beds were super comfortable. The screened in porch was wonderful too. The yard and cabin were pet friendly. Our Terrier mix and Conure enjoyed their stay as much as we did. We would definitely stay again. Verizon did not have service at the cabin. I enjoyed the “unplugged” stay with the kids. I did not have to ask them to put down their phones😊

Perfect quiet retreat. Serene setting with abundant wildlife frolicking through the yard. Home was excellent and relaxing to stay in whether inside or outside. Would definitely recommend this location to others.

We loved our stay at Tony’s. The cabin is pretty secluded but that’s what we wanted! We were able to go into town to the springs and for dinner. The cabin is very cozy with a fireplace. It was rainy while we were there but it was nice to hang outside by the pool table. Would recommend for anyone who wants a quiet and romantic getaway with some local things to explore nearby.

We had an amazing time. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities one could want. We had 2 small kids and they absolutely loved the swings! The mattresses were very comfortable! The screened porch was a huge plus! The shaded pool table and seating area allowed us to eat meals outside and enjoy a game of pool! The water access was also nice! Recommend bringing water shoes! There is a keurig coffee maker (so plan accordingly) and charcoal grill! The owner and property manager were extremely friendly and responsive to all of our needs! Restaurants and shopping were only a short drive away! Neighbors were not seen much and very quiet. Beautiful cabin retreat! We will definitely be back!

we only stayed for the night but the place exactly like the photos, the only thing that was unpleasant was the bed was a little hard and the dirt road to get there is very rough, I wouldn’t drive a fancy car down it for sure, but it is definitely in the woods if that’s what your looking for.

We had a wonderful weekend at Tony’s place! The river out back was beautiful and creates a peaceful setting. We had everything we needed for our stay and Tony is wonderful with communication. This is our second stay at one of his properties and we will definitely be back !

This place had everything we wanted and was in really good shape!

A very nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. Very peaceful. It was just perfect to get away from the noise and traffic. The creek behind the property, plus clear night skies where we could see lots of stars. It was the short get away that we really needed.

This cozy cabin was the perfect getaway for my family! The inside is completely renovated and modern. The adorable design and cute touches made this cabin an excellent place to stay. The outside of the cabin was just as cute as the inside, from the bench swing to the tree swing. There’s two large bedrooms with a lot of closet space and a smaller bedroom with a small bed. That office room got a little chilly at night but the cabin provides a ton of blankets and pillows to stay warm. The cabin also provides coffee, towels, garbage bags, soap, shampoo and dish soap. You don’t have to bring anything but yourself! Loved every minute of our stay. Highly recommend!

Booked for a nice relaxing long weekend. We planned to spend most of the time cooking and hanging out watching movies by the fireplace which ended up working perfectly since it snowed. It was very cozy! Overall a nice time! Tony was certainly extremely responsive and a very attentive and communicative host!

The cabin is just how it’s pictured. It’s clean, spacious, and very detailed. The surroundings of the cabin is beautiful and peaceful. Very worth it.
