Cute little cottage in the historic district, well located, up a steep hill. Old, of course, that’s part of the charm. Parking on narrow one way street across from the cottage

Nice central location near historic Harper’s Ferry Main Street. The place met our needs for our bike journey passing through the area, although one of the beds was unusable due to mouse droppings in the bed.

We enjoyed our time at Tony’s place, very walkable to downtown and hiking trails. The house was clean and private with lots of nature surrounding 🙂 As a couple staying, it was more space than we needed and probably a better value for larger families or groups. It is an older home, but that’s what we expected and part of the charm. Tony was great to work with, and was super responsive and checked in with us leading up to and throughout our stay.

House is in a perfect location for a Harper’s Ferry weekend. Easy walk to town center, but up away from the crowds! Tony was a great communicator. Only thing to note is the only upstairs bathroom is off the queen bedroom;, not the hallway. The other bathroom is on the first floor. Depending on your situation, this could be awkward.

Comfortable enough for a short stay, but I wouldn’t return. Pros: Fast WiFi, self check-in, the important parts were clean (linens, bathrooms, kitchen) Cons: – Primary room had a full size bed instead of queen (I measured it) & was not comfortable for 2 adults – Advertises a dedicated workspace, but there is not a desk anywhere in the house. You can work at the kitchen table or on a couch on your lap – Furniture was dusty, blinds were filthy & most didn’t work, dust and cobwebs in the staircase & corners, water filter needs replacing — this house doesn’t seem to be getting a lot of attention – No hairdryer, despite being listed as an amenity – The house is at a significant slant, to the point that we didn’t feel safe using the back porch & when we tried to play board games pieces rolled off the table – Check out is early (10am) with a hefty fine if you are late. But they will sell you a late check out for $50. Felt predatory, bad first impression

We really enjoyed staying the weekend here in Harpers Ferry at this House. The History in this town and the house as well is one of the coolest things we found about staying! this house was just like pictured and your able to walk to everything in town. close to one of the best restaurants and trails! the house was so clean and the owner was great with directions and very helpful making it least but complicated to get there and stay. it was easily found. great parking spaces, very convenient. I will definitely be staying here again in the future! I reccomend anyone looking to stay to do so. it’s a trip worth making! I didn’t want to leave this cool town!

The location of the home is amazing! It is just up the hill from Harper’s Ferry. We walked into “town” every night. It is very close to Jefferson Rock, the Appalachian Trail and where the two rivers meet. The area is beautiful! A note that the hill is very steep. The house looks more worn then in the photos. It was clean, but the furniture was mismatched and worn. A note on the bathroom situation- the half bath is a small closet directly off the kitchen. The only full bath, so only shower, is off the main bedroom. So, everyone has to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. Just something to be aware of if you have a larger party or a mixed group. We loved hearing and watching the trains, it added to the feel of the house. We brought a noise machine and they didnt bother us at night. There are a bunch of games, books and puzzles around the house. Parking is directly in front, but a narrow space. Overall a unique house in a unique area that we really enjoyed.

Fantastic location by Old Downtown, but a street away to make the stay feel private. Tiny was proactive and made sure I had the info that I needed. Parking was easy, the place was spotless; we had a great time. Being so close to the confluence / downtown meant that we could walk around with leisure, unworried about finding a place to park or bringing stuff with us “just in case.” I’d happily return here for future stays.

We enjoyed ourselves and the location was great! The house has settled over the years ( to be expected for a home this old) … always felt we were walking down hill in any room we entered. All said and done, our stay was great and we will definitely remember this home for years to come.

This house is full of charm! We loved the original details of this Victorian beauty and the modern updates that made it perfect for our family of 4. The beds were super comfortable, the view from the back deck was amazing, and we loved the location so close to town. If you do walk to town, wear your walking shoes – it’s a pretty steep hike! If you love older homes, this cottage is a perfect place to fully experience historic Harpers Ferry.

The house was as described and in the pictures – clean, cozy, comfortable. We had all we needed, and more – it was nice to find coffee and creamer in the kitchen, not always the case in ABnB! Communication was prompt and always helpful. We had a peaceful and nice one night. Will definitely come again when in the area.

This cute little cottage is in a fabulous position for an easy walk to everything in the historic centre. It is in a beautiful and mostly peaceful situation. The issue for us was the loud noise of the train close by every hour throughout the night. It is very well appointed with everything you might need. The wifi did not work at all which was frustrating. Tony was very responsive but unfortunately this issue did not resolve. I would definitely recommend staying here for position and character but do be aware of the train noise.

This cute little historic house clean and comfortable for a small group. it is walking distance from historic Harper’s Ferry including Jefferson’s Rock. Unfortunately, Harper’s Ferry rolls up the sidewalks at 8:00 so there is really no point in staying walking distance from Harper’s Ferry because the town is really a day-time attraction. The town isn’t really open in the morning either with only one small coffee shop open before 10:00. So, I would highly recommend this place if you are not planning on doing anything at night or in the morning.

The location was wonderful but the house had several problems – bedroom door could not close so no privacy, most of the window blinds did not work so much of the house was dark, no bed sheets available for one of the pull out beds. The cost did not seem worth it.

Excellent location, charming house, and attentive host. I booked this place for a night over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time exploring the Harper’s Ferry area. It is positioned at the top of a hill with the town a short walk down below. Everything you need is walkable from the house, including hiking trails, boutique stores, restaurants, and museums. The home itself is older, but full of historic charm and plenty of space for you and your guests. Tony was very helpful and accommodating throughout the process. He has streamlined the check-in process with the home manual he created and everything was very straightforward and easy. Highly recommend this house and the area if you’re like me and wanted to get out of the city and back to the sights and smells of nature. If so, this is the spot!

The location was convenient to the National Historic Park and the cemetery. All was within a short walk but beware, the entire area is very hilly and steep in spots. One of our party had some trouble walking. You get a view of the River from the back porch , which was rickety, so we left the back door open for the view. It is a very peaceful location aside from the train whistle which took some getting used to. The cottage is quaint and has some history so it sure made you feel part of this historic community. The host is most responsive to questions or concerns.

I stayed at Tony’s place with my sister and a friend for a girl’s getaway. The cottage is very charming and in a great location in Harper’s Ferry, walkable to shops and restaurants, and with a nice view of the town and river. The home was very clean and amenities were as advertised. Tony was very responsive and communicative. The road leading to the home can be a bit tricky, but having a dedicated parking space was ideal, given that parking in the town is limited. We had a great time, and it is the perfect location for a trip to Harper’s Ferry.

Staying in Tony’s home made the trip during our kids’ spring break. The location is phenomenal and staying in this historic home, surrounded by historic Harpers Ferry, gave us an appreciation for the town in ways that staying somewhere else simply couldn’t have given us. Tony was a great communicator and helped on the one or two things where we needed a little extra help. We’re grateful for the experience and will keep these memories for a long time.

Outstanding location in the very heart of Harpers Ferry! Everything is walkable and the hiking is literally steps from your door. We really enjoyed the peaceful location and quiet while also enjoying the beautiful scenery – hiking Maryland Heights Trail and checking out Jefferson’s Rock. It was Presidents Day so the Park Service had a special presentation by a retired Park Ranger which was awesome. We walked up to Bolivar Bakery (about .5 miles away) and enjoyed some amazing baked goods for breakfast each morning. Tony is a great host and the space is amazing…will definitely book with him again – super responsive and very friendly.
