We had a wonderful stay! The host was very responsive, friendly, and welcoming. The facility was clean and well-maintained, with a quiet atmosphere perfect for relaxation. It’s a great family-friendly environment — our kids loved the ping pong table and the many board games available. The kitchen and bathroom were clean, and we appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea.
This place offers great value if you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded getaway in the mountains. Just note that it’s about a 20–25 minute drive to Harpers Ferry. The only minor downside was that the chlorine level in the hot pool was quite strong, so our kids (8 and 12) found it a bit irritating to their skin. My wife and I, however, were fine and really enjoyed soaking in the hot pool surrounded by the deep woods.
Highly recommended for a restful mountain retreat!

The place worked well for our trip hiking around Harpers Ferry and we enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement.
The house is down a rough gravel road but there are a couple of different routes that can used to reach the house to avoid the steepest roads.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It’s the perfect getaway if you’re looking to unwind in a peaceful, secluded area. The tranquility here is just what we needed: lots of deer wandering around and the soothing sounds of birds singing. It felt like a true escape into nature! Plus, the cabin has everything you need for cooking up a family feast, which made our meals together even more special. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The house was perfect for our first time visit to Harper’s Ferry. The neighborhood was quiet and we had the best time looking at all the wildlife that came into the yard. Communication with the owners was easy. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

Overall our stay was good. The house had enough space for our family and we all had fun playing the games in the basement. The house needed several updates and some doors were broken. The place wasn’t as clean as we would’ve liked. We kept getting black, what looked like dog hair, on us and it was on the sink in one of the bathrooms. The big glass doors were pretty dirty as well. And after walking around the house we had dirt stains on our socks.
Tony was very nice and quick to respond to anything we needed!

This was a great, quiet and relaxing place for our family to stay for a few days. Everything was as described and had everything we could have needed. Kitchen was adequately stocked. The hot tub was a really nice addition. It was close to the attractions we came to see but enough out of the way to be in a tranquil area to escape the hustle and bustle. Would stay here again.

Great cabin for a girls trip! It’s nice and secluded, which is exactly what we were looking for. We spent the weekend at local wineries, watching movies, and sitting in the hot tub! Very responsive host.

We had a great stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and we had plenty of room for us and our pups. The cabin was dog friendly and accommodated us perfectly. The game room downstairs was fun and the internet and streaming services on the TVs worked well. The location was scenic but might be a little difficult to maneuver if there was winter weather. We ventured into DC one day, just about 90 mins away. We also drove the Virginia byway for some scenic views and visited the Bluemont General store. We had a nice relaxing stay and Tony communicated well.
The cabin is a little older and clearly a rental as there are some touch up spots and some of the items in the house are outdated. We had a problem with the main bath sink being clogged but since there was a second bathroom we had no issues. We notified the owner and he communicated effectively.
Overall it was a very nice stay.

Tony’s place was absolutely beautiful! I had a wonderful stay. The location is amazing secluded but not too far from things. This was one of the cleanest airbnbs I’ve stayed in so kudos, I also appreciated no overpowering Febreeze plugins also! Check-in/out and house manual were clearly provided which made things a breeze, and it had all the necessary amenities. The place also stayed warm easily even in snowy/freezy conditions. Thanks again for hosting!

We had a great time at Tony’s cabin! We travelled to see family for the Thanksgiving holiday and we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and beautiful getaway! Tony was super responsive and accommodating. The options to check in early and check out late, although we didn’t use them, were a nice added addition that we will keep in mind for future travel! The location and house was great! This was probably my favorite home on Air bnb so far. If you’re looking for a quiet place in nature to relax, this home is perfect. It’s also super close to Harper’s Ferry, Charles Town, and Shepardstown, which are all places you should visit when staying here! Tony was super nice and was great with checking in and communicating. Can’t wait to visit again!

This was a great stay! The cabin is ADORABLE. It’s a fully modern house inside. Many reviews state that the AC does not work. That is totally incorrect AND it’s in full shade. You really don’t need any AC. I would absolutely go back but I’d do a few things differently. Also going to am actual grocery store is worth it. The mini-mart nearby is very expensive.

Really beautiful spot and a very clean, welcoming and well equipped house. Plenty of beds and sofas. Really nice kitchen and grill situation. Awesome deck for hanging out while grilling. Only qualm is it really isn’t a cabin, is just a nice comfy house. Wish we could have had a bonfire, but that’s out fault as it mentioned no fires in listing and we failed to see that. River access would have been nice for fishing, we saw the river very close on googlemaps but there is no walkable way to get there without walking through someone’s yard. I recommend this spot to anyone visiting Harper’s Ferry, it’s really close to the sites and the host Tony was very friendly and helpful. Tony was very responsive too. Seems like a great AirBnB for a family visiting the area

Had a great stay at Tony’s cabin with the rest of my group. The amenities plus the secluded location were just what we were looking for, and the place was in perfect condition! The kitchen was well equipped as well, which was appreciated.

Tony was friendly and super responsive. The first place we booked that he hosts had an issue with the water, and it was quick and easy to transfer the booking. The place was clean and the house manual was super helpful. The hot tub was definitely a great added bonus! Would definitely stay again 🙂.

The home looked nothing like the listing photos. The backyard, a major selling point, was misrepresented, and patio furniture was missing or damaged. Within an hour of arrival, I received a text that a handyman would stop by to check the stove—something that should’ve been addressed before our stay. The plumbing didn’t work, the cookware was filthy with food remnants, and the house reeked of cigarette smoke. Despite listing central air, the house never cooled below 72°F and relied on a window unit. We canceled our plans to wait for a handyman who never came. Airbnb helped relocate us and gave a partial refund, but we still paid $487 out-of-pocket for a night in an unsanitary, poorly maintained home. The host offered an extra night the day before check-in—then denied our early check-in request the next day. No accountability, no follow-up. This home was not guest-ready and appears neglected. I would never rent from this host again. The negative reviews are accurate.

The stay overall was okay. Loved the hot tub. The location is great. We had an easy time driving down on the gravel road with a AWD. However, when we arrived from a long road trip at 4 pm, we were disappointed to find the house was unclean with dirty towels, unmade beds, and dirty floors. It took the property management company a few hours to get the cleaning company to show up. Never talked to a Tony. We didn’t leave because there were no other options in the area. We stayed in the living room while the workers cleaned. We made the best of the stay. Note that the kitchen has really old pots and pans. Some of the dishes in the cupboard were unclean because the dishwasher doesn’t work as well. It would be nice to have extra blankets and cleaning supplies to use.

Our stay wasn't the best. The place had so many things wrong. it was really dirty. If it would have been clean, the place was nice. Tony or whoever I texted with was on the ball. they did give me money back for the dirtiness of the place. Considering how bad it was, I didn't feel like it was enough. I wanted to leave but my husband did not. He ended up washing out the hot tub himself. They blamed it on back to back snow storms but if that was the case they shouldn't of rented it out. I will not stay there again.

Place was decorated wonderfully, loved all the color it was super cute. Beds were comfy. Hot tub was nice and hot, game room was wonderful. Could use basic updates and extra cleaning done. Dishwasher is not working like it should, had to hand wash the load in the dishwasher from the last person who stayed there, and we found many dirty dishes in the cabinets. Also bring towels if you want to use the hot tub. No hot tub towels provided. Otherwise it was a relaxing stay.

Positive:
We booked this chalet but got moved to another due to accessibility issues with this chalet (some trees were down near the property). I was offered an alternative location nearby which I accepted.
Negative:
The power went out a couple hours after we got there so we basically had to just go to bed, power wasn’t back on it on in the morning which led to their being no water to use the bathrooms or shower. Additionally, I did ask if the new location had a pergola over the hot tub like this property (so we could use it if it was raining) and was told yes, but when we arrived, we were misinformed. Also, the hot tub needs to be cleaned, lots of dead skin formed on the sides once we turned it on - yuck!

Negative:
The property is in need of maintenance and a good cleaning. The deck is slippery and the sidewalk is horrible. The carpet has stains all over the place. House smells of uring and is musty. Could not use the game room as the basement floors were soaking wet upon arrival. Beds are uncomfortable. I contacted the owner and, at first he brushed over the subject of the wet floors, but the next time I texted him; he indicated there was a bad renter and they had to clean up. My wife has asthma and she could not stay the entire time as the musty smell made her asthma worse. We told the owner about the issue and all he offered was $50 back. Do not recommend this property. I would have been better off in a hotel.
