1. C&O Canal National Historical Park (distance from the house - 10 mins): The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal (C&O Canal) runs through nearby towns and is a major historical site. Visitors can explore the tunnel, the towpath, and enjoy a scenic walk or bike ride along the canal.
2. Paw Paw Tunnel (distance from house - 10 mins): The Paw Paw Tunnel is a must-see. It’s one of the longest tunnels on the C&O Canal. It’s a great spot for hiking, photography, and learning about the area's industrial history.
