Sleeping arrangements
The loft‑style dome sleeps up to four guests. A king bed rests on the main level, while a queen loft bed sits above, framed by expansive windows that bring the night sky inside. A staircase provides access to the loft, making the space best suited for guests comfortable with a multi‑level interior.

Interior comforts
Heating keeps the dome cozy during colder months, and air conditioning is available when temperatures rise. WiFi supports streaming and remote work, while a TV and sound system offer low‑key entertainment for evenings in. The full indoor bathroom includes a shower and bathroom essentials, and a sound machine is provided to help you rest. Free parking is available on the premises.

Orion sits on 35 wooded acres at one of the highest points of a private retreat in Wardensville, West Virginia. While another dome and a yurt are nearby, your dome has its own deck and fire pit, providing a sense of separation and privacy. A sound machine helps mask occasional road noise from a nearby state route, particularly in winter.

Area highlights
A short drive brings you to hiking trails, fishing spots, and Lost River State Park. Small towns nearby offer cafés, restaurants, and local shops for relaxed afternoons before returning to the dome’s warmth.

Winter travel considerations
Snow or icy conditions may require four‑wheel drive or tire chains, and travel insurance is recommended during winter months. Road conditions are outside the host’s control, and refunds are not offered for weather‑related closures.
