The cabin was great for a weekend stay. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. If you approach your time remembering that it’s a cabin, you’ll have a great time. There was some minor cleaning issues, the paint is chipping in areas, and the fire pit chairs could use some repairs, but for a stay in the woods, this comes with the territory. The beds are very comfortable, the appliances work well, kitchen has what you need for making basic meals, and the surroundings are quiet and laid back.

Highly suggest staying here and taking advantage of the local beauty! We made good use of the hot tub and fire pit and had a great time at the local pumpkin patch. The house manual provided the answer to every question we had, so while we didn’t need to reach out to Tony at any point, we felt well informed the whole time and knew he was only a text away. Highly suggest!

This is the 3rd property of Tony’s we have stayed at. It was awesome as always. Great set up and our pets are welcome. Got to take the kids swimming at the Sports Complex. Was just a little too cold in the outside pool. Tbh we were surprised it was even open being the off season. Should have brought my clubs. The golf course looked nice too. Checked out Gettysburg this time instead of DC. Enjoyed a fire and the hot tub back at the cabin. We love the Berkley Spring area. We’ll be back to check out another of his properties.

Just got home from our getaway today. Tony was an absolutely amazing host! We ran into an issue with one of the home appliances, and within a few short hours, that appliance was replaced! Tony is very responsive to messages, and gives great restaurant recommendations! Upon arrival, the home was squeaky clean. The hot tub was already turned on and ready to be used when we got there as well. I don’t have a bad thing to say about this trip! I’m looking forward to booking more stays with Tony, as well as revisiting this little piece of serenity!

We had a wonderful stay at Tony’s! Everything was clean, the hot tub was luxurious, and the property was beautiful. A wonderful weekend in the woods. My only note was that while it does sleep 8, the house itself felt a little small for that many people. It probably would have been more comfortable for 4-6 people (especially with one bathroom). But aside from that we had a terrific time! Would love to come back again!

Mr. Tony was very responsive to all of our request. Our stay was peaceful and quiet!
There was a little bit of complication with the sporting complex passes. We had to request passes everyday we wanted to go, but didn’t receive consistent communication on getting them. I had to follow up with the host for the passes on both days I requested them after not receiving any notification that they were ready. We ended up getting someone else’s passes for our second day after we called up there ourselves.
Also, make sure you request extra towels. The sports complex does not offer towels for the pool, so you have to use the ones from your cabin.
Overall, this would not stop me from coming here again. Everything else was perfect and accommodating and Mr. Tony made us feel welcomed!

Great location to get away and visit with family in the area. Plenty of games to engage the kiddos. Enjoyed walks through the neighborhood and down to the stream. Very happy with extra heaters that we used on the fan setting to provide white noise when the kids went to bed. Also, lots of dishes available, which is not always the case with rentals, so it was easy to feed a sizeable family. Didn’t get to use the hot tub, but it looked and smelled very clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Location was beautiful and host was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the home seemed to be in need of and in the process of some repairs that we were unaware of when we booked. We chose to stay and made the host aware of the maintenance needs. The repairs that needed done did take away from the appeal and the clubhouse (not the hosts fault) was dirty and in need of updating. We were also unaware we would need to bring our own towels when using said clubhouse amenities which was inconvenient but not the end of the world. I would consider staying with this host again and would probably recommend them as a host. I just feel like I overpaid this time because the home did not present as it did in the listing.

Love the Hedgesville area and The Woods golf course that is close by. The Sports Center is an awesome extra – especially when you get lots of rain on your trip. Our kids used the indoor basketball courts there because it was too wet to do some other activities. Tony is responsive if you need anything. Love the hot tub – definitely a highlight of the place.

It was beautiful and definitely would be even more beautiful with the trees full of leaves. Tony was fast at responding.
Although, the hydrants were flushed in the community and we were told we would receive bottled water for the inconvenience but we waited and water never came. We did end up going to town and buying some to get us through. Water pressure was not that great to get showers.
The fan in downstairs are was extremely dusty and when we turned it on it did fling dust everywhere. The floors were not clean to walk on with socks so we kept our shoes/house shoes on until I did have to find a broom to sweep them up a little but other than that it was priced great for the time we needed it for. The spa was amazing as well as the amenities.

We had a great stay here. The place was very nice; a little smaller than it might seem in pictures, but still a great size for our party of 4. The hot tub was a highlight for us, nice and hot upon arrival. The fire pit and wood stove were also highlights for us (we bought some firewood nearby). The beds were comfy. The bedroom door to the main “master” bedroom does not latch shut. Also, the main outside door doesn’t shut very well either.
Tony was very proactive and responsive. Would stay at this property again.
Oh, be warned – the neighbor will message Tony if he doesn’t like something you did. I was walking our dog and accidentally crossed over onto the neighbor’s property line and he yelled through his house, “this isn’t your property.” And about a half hour later i I got a message from Tony about it (Tony was super kind though, he just mentioned that the neighbor tends to complain and to be sure to not cross the property line).

Tony is an amazing host. Wonderful with communication and truly cares about his guests. The home is a tad bit smaller than what it seems like in the pictures, but overall it’s a beautiful home. This is a great spot for a quick weekend getaway. My only thing that I wasn’t feeling about this home was the neighbor. The fire pit is located right next to his home so if you hang around that area be warned you may draw his attention. We didn’t get to hit the lake, so I can’t comment on that. If you talk to the host he will get you guest passes to the pool and basketball courts. Definitely worth the money and I would definitely stay again.

Tony was very nice and responsive. A couple areas of the house could use a little tlc like the upstairs loft and the downstairs bedroom (looks like they might be repainting?). But overall clean. The cabin was well equipped and the amnesties with the woods are really nice. We did struggle a little bit obtaining passes one day and the lady at the woods was kind of rude but it was to no fault of Tony. Biggest advice I have for anyone booking is to make sure you bring in all your foods. There is nothing very close to the cabin to eat and the roads are extremely curvy. Also besides the Woods amenities there is not a lot to do around that area. We ended up driving out to harpers ferry one day, Berkeley springs one day and up to Gettysburg.

We enjoyed our stay at the Linden Chalet. I loved the natural light coming in from the windows in the main room. We chose this place because we could use the sports complex, it had a private hot tub, and its proximity to Maryland & Virginia for some hiking. We ended up driving to Martinsburg, West Virginia a few times and it was a nice 30 minute drive.

We had a great time. The Rec center and lake so close by were definitely a draw, although there was an issue with the lake pass being missing and the lake attendant telling us the lake isn’t for homeowners in that neighborhood. We were allowed to stay and we enjoyed kayaking. The place was clean and had room for ten of us, but you’d definitely want to be close with the people you go with since there’s only one bathroom. Owner was responsive and the detailed info was much appreciated. This is a great place to stay for families to get to enjoy the peaceful outdoors and still have access to activities to keep the kids busy.

Cabin was very nice. My teens loved it. Pool and sports center were incredible and only a 2 min drive. The pool was surrounded on 3 sides by a pond. My boys went back and forth to fish in pond. There was laundry machines in sports center building which was very helpful for us. There was a restaurant at golf course and another pool. My husband and son loved the golf course. But restaurant closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Not much else near as far as stores or restaurants. Cabin had everything you would need in kitchen to cook a meal. Extra linens, extra towels, grill. Tony was very responsive. Great getaway to relax and unwind.

Tony was very responsive with any questions/requests I had and even allowed early check-in since there wasn’t a guest staying the night before we reserved. We had a very nice, peaceful stay. We enjoyed being out in the middle of nature and having the luxury of the hot tub and the sports center. Tony was very proactive about providing details and answering questions and was even able to offer us an early check in. Our only complaint is how hot the house was. The listing boasts “AC offered to keep the house cool on hot days,” however there is only one window unit in the master bedroom. So, only that one bedroom was bearable to be in. So, if you’re coming with a family or large group, plan to pack plenty of fans in order to stay cool.

I absolutely loved my stay! The home was even bigger than it appeared in the pictures and was absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked with excellent cookware/knives, the TV had Netflix and Hulu, the internet was fast, and there were tons of fun board games and yard games. Some other highlights include the hot tub, which was fantastic, and the access to the recreation center, which has indoor tennis, basketball, and racquetball, and even free equipment to use! We enjoyed how peaceful the place was and the beautiful forest surroundings. Even in the winter wind and cold the home was cozy and warm.
Tony in particular was a fantastic host, answering our questions very quickly and periodically checking in to see how everything was going. This was far and away my best AirBnB experience over the past 7 years! We will definitely return here sometime in the summer.

Within 20-30 minutes of great restaurants, artsy towns, and several spas. Beautifully decorated rooms. We didn’t use the firepit, but it’s a great option for cooler nights. Tony was an amazing host he stayed in contact with me before and during my three day stay with my two kids and fiancée. His cabin in the woods is just ultimately beautiful. Very clean and spacious. We used the passes for the sports center as well which had an indoor pool, playground and workout area. The hot tub under the stars at night WAS JUST PEACEFUL AND BEYOND PERFECT. And the I highly recommended any of Tonys places as you will not be disappointed with the house, location or host. I will be definitely be booking another cabin by Tony 😍

A nice way to escape the DMV for a weekend! The hot tub was excellent and it was really nice to have a fire. I would recommend staying here if you are a party of 2-4 adults. A couple of notes though for people planning on booking this place:
1. There is a wood-burning stove but you have to bring your own firewood so plan accordingly.
2. While the listing says “10 Guests” I think sleeping 4-5 adults (MAX!) is more accurate. The bunk beds shown in the photos are small and meant for kids so sleeping adults there would pretty impossible. And the two full beds shown side by side in the listing are located in the loft area and don’t have a door for privacy- they are more semi-private. There is a pull-out couch in the living room, but the living room is fairly small so if converted into a bed it will take up a significant portion of the communal space.
3. Only one bathroom.
4. The hot tub was really nice but there aren’t any porch lights above it, and it gets pitch black at night.

This was an amazing stay!! The cabin itself was absolutely SPOTLESS. It was roomier than I expected, and there were lots of extra linens, dishes, pillows–everything we needed was available and easy to locate. There were even a couple of throws in the main room for snuggling on the sofa.
The host was very responsive to texts, and even messaged just to make sure we were checked in and happy with the rental.
The only–minor–issues we had was that there is only one bathroom and there is no dishwasher (which is clear in the description). The house is listed for up to ten people, and there is certainly enough sleeping space for that many, but I can’t imagine ten people trying to share one bathroom. And I hate handwashing dishes, so that was mildly annoying but certainly not a deal breaker.
Overall, this was a great space for our trip, and I can’t think of a single thing the host could have done to make our stay better. A++!

Tony is an excellent host. We had some minor technical problems with electricity one day, and he was super responsive and always helpful. He even found us a person to fix this problem right away.

It was a beautiful house + location. We had a great time. The only thing was the cleanliness for the expense of the cleaning fee. We had requested a early check-in which in the manual it said is more than likely if there were no previous guests. So we were informed the cleaners were there and they would text when they were done. So we were expecting a text and never got one.. which was fine. I didn’t have a problem with checking in at the scheduled time, that wasn’t the issue. When we got there there was dead flys eye level as soon as you walked in the door, the stove was dirty, and there was dirt on the floor, and dead bugs behind the lamp. And I understand there’s bugs because it is a cabin and in the middle of the woods but when you’re being charged a high cleaning fee, and not able to check in early because the cleaners are there it is a little disappointing. Overall a good trip though!

We absolutely love this cabin in West Virginia! Everything was clean and well-maintained. We absolutely love the newer, clean hot tub and having fires in the woodstove on cool evenings. The fire pit, grill, and wooden deck were also great.
We enjoyed our day day trip to Winchester and did some antiquing in Berkeley Springs.
The lake wasn’t quite what we were expecting. It’s more like a large pond, but it has a nice deck to sit on and it’s very relaxing.
The Wi-Fi and TV worked great.
Tony’s communication was thorough and excellent and we felt very taken care of. I’m sure we will visit again!

Just what we needed. A beautiful cabin set in the forest, it was very peaceful and quiet, and the leaves were near peak foliage. Tony’s communication was excellent and we really appreciated how helpful he was. Also, the Devil’s Nose hiking trail is very close and highly recommended.

We had an OUTSTANDING stay at Linden Chalet. It was our 30th anniversary and this was perfect for us. Hot tub, fireplace, and a beautiful fall view through the windows. We had an amazing hike to Devil’s Nose. Berkeley Springs offered delicious food from Lot 12 Public House and Charlotte’s Cafe. The small shops in town were a great way to pass a couple of hours. There was so much we didn’t get to do in the area but this chalet offered everything we needed for a quiet and relaxed time.

Tony was very responsive. He made our check in so smooth. The cabin is very cozy and the bed are very comfortable. Tony had a lot of games there. He recommended us to visit the lake/beach with the sand and it was awesome. We took the volleyball net that he had provided to us and we played on the sand. It was awesome. He was also very nice and understanding. The hot tub was so nice. I definitely recommend Tony’s cabin to everyone. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

This is the 3rd property of Tony's we have stayed at. It was awesome as always. Great set up and our pets are welcome. Got to take the kids swimming at the Sports Complex. Was just a little too cold in the outside pool. Tbh we were surprised it was even open being the off season. Should have brought my clubs. The golf course looked nice too. Just got home from our getaway today. Tony was an absolutely amazing host! We ran into an issue with one of the home appliances, and within a few short hours, that appliance was replaced! Tony is very responsive to messages, and gives great restaurant recommendations! Upon arrival, the home was squeaky clean. The hot tub was already turned on and ready to be used when we got there as well. I don’t have a bad thing to say about this trip! I’m looking forward to booking more stays with Tony, as well as revisiting this little piece of serenity!

My only note was that while it does sleep 8, the house itself felt a little small for that many people. It probably would have been more comfortable for 4-6 people (especially with one bathroom). But aside from that we had a terrific time! Would love to come back again!

Mr. Tony was very responsive to all of our request. Our stay was peaceful and quiet!
There was a little bit of complication with the sporting complex passes. We had to request passes everyday we wanted to go, but didn’t receive consistent communication on getting them. I had to follow up with the host for the passes on both days I requested them after not receiving any notification that they were ready. We ended up getting someone else’s passes for our second day after we called up there ourselves.
Also, make sure you request extra towels. The sports complex does not offer towels for the pool, so you have to use the ones from your cabin.
Overall, this would not stop me from coming here again. Everything else was perfect and accommodating and Mr. Tony made us feel welcomed!

Great location to get away and visit with family in the area. Plenty of games to engage the kiddos. Enjoyed walks through the neighborhood and down to the stream. Very happy with extra heaters that we used on the fan setting to provide white noise when the kids went to bed. Also, lots of dishes available, which is not always the case with rentals, so it was easy to feed a sizeable family. Didn't get to use the hot tub, but it looked and smelled very clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Location was beautiful and host was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the home seemed to be in need of and in the process of some repairs that we were unaware of when we booked. We chose to stay and made the host aware of the maintenance needs. The repairs that needed done did take away from the appeal and the clubhouse (not the hosts fault) was dirty and in need of updating. We were also unaware we would need to bring our own towels when using said clubhouse amenities which was inconvenient but not the end of the world. I would consider staying with this host again and would probably recommend them as a host. I just feel like I overpaid this time because the home did not present as it did in the listing.

Love the Hedgesville area and The Woods golf course that is close by. The Sports Center is an awesome extra - especially when you get lots of rain on your trip. Our kids used the indoor basketball courts there because it was too wet to do some other activities. Tony is responsive if you need anything. Love the hot tub - definitely a highlight of the place.

Although, the hydrants were flushed in the community and we were told we would receive bottled water for the inconvenience but we waited and water never came. We did end up going to town and buying some to get us through. Water pressure was not that great to get showers.
The fan in downstairs are was extremely dusty and when we turned it on it did fling dust everywhere. The floors were not clean to walk on with socks so we kept our shoes/house shoes on until I did have to find a broom to sweep them up a little but other than that it was priced great for the time we needed it for. The spa was amazing as well as the amenities.

We had a great stay here. The place was very nice; a little smaller than it might seem in pictures, but still a great size for our party of 4. The hot tub was a highlight for us, nice and hot upon arrival. The fire pit and wood stove were also highlights for us (we bought some firewood nearby). The beds were comfy. The bedroom door to the main “master” bedroom does not latch shut. Also, the main outside door doesn’t shut very well either.
Tony was very proactive and responsive. Would stay at this property again.
Oh, be warned - the neighbor will message Tony if he doesn’t like something you did. I was walking our dog and accidentally crossed over onto the neighbor’s property line and he yelled through his house, “this isn’t your property.” And about a half hour later i I got a message from Tony about it (Tony was super kind though, he just mentioned that the neighbor tends to complain and to be sure to not cross the property line).

Tony is an amazing host. Wonderful with communication and truly cares about his guests. The home is a tad bit smaller than what it seems like in the pictures, but overall it’s a beautiful home. This is a great spot for a quick weekend getaway. My only thing that I wasn’t feeling about this home was the neighbor. The fire pit is located right next to his home so if you hang around that area be warned you may draw his attention. We didn’t get to hit the lake, so I can’t comment on that. If you talk to the host he will get you guest passes to the pool and basketball courts. Definitely worth the money and I would definitely stay again.

Tony was very nice and responsive. A couple areas of the house could use a little tlc like the upstairs loft and the downstairs bedroom (looks like they might be repainting?). But overall clean. The cabin was well equipped and the amnesties with the woods are really nice. We did struggle a little bit obtaining passes one day and the lady at the woods was kind of rude but it was to no fault of Tony. Biggest advice I have for anyone booking is to make sure you bring in all your foods. There is nothing very close to the cabin to eat and the roads are extremely curvy. Also besides the Woods amenities there is not a lot to do around that area. We ended up driving out to harpers ferry one day, Berkeley springs one day and up to Gettysburg.

We enjoyed our stay at the Linden Chalet. I loved the natural light coming in from the windows in the main room. We chose this place because we could use the sports complex, it had a private hot tub, and its proximity to Maryland & Virginia for some hiking. We ended up driving to Martinsburg, West Virginia a few times and it was a nice 30 minute drive.

The Rec center and lake so close by were definitely a draw, although there was an issue with the lake pass being missing and the lake attendant telling us the lake isn’t for homeowners in that neighborhood. We were allowed to stay and we enjoyed kayaking. The place was clean and had room for ten of us, but you’d definitely want to be close with the people you go with since there’s only one bathroom. Owner was responsive and the detailed info was much appreciated. This is a great place to stay for families to get to enjoy the peaceful outdoors and still have access to activities to keep the kids busy.

Cabin was very nice. My teens loved it. Pool and sports center were incredible and only a 2 min drive. The pool was surrounded on 3 sides by a pond. My boys went back and forth to fish in pond. There was laundry machines in sports center building which was very helpful for us. There was a restaurant at golf course and another pool. My husband and son loved the golf course. But restaurant closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Not much else near as far as stores or restaurants. Cabin had everything you would need in kitchen to cook a meal. Extra linens, extra towels, grill. Tony was very responsive. Great getaway to relax and unwind.

Tony was very proactive about providing details and answering questions and was even able to offer us an early check in. Our only complaint is how hot the house was. The listing boasts “AC offered to keep the house cool on hot days,” however there is only one window unit in the master bedroom. So, only that one bedroom was bearable to be in. So, if you’re coming with a family or large group, plan to pack plenty of fans in order to stay cool.

I absolutely loved my stay! The home was even bigger than it appeared in the pictures and was absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked with excellent cookware/knives, the TV had Netflix and Hulu, the internet was fast, and there were tons of fun board games and yard games. Some other highlights include the hot tub, which was fantastic, and the access to the recreation center, which has indoor tennis, basketball, and racquetball, and even free equipment to use! We enjoyed how peaceful the place was and the beautiful forest surroundings. Even in the winter wind and cold the home was cozy and warm.
Tony in particular was a fantastic host, answering our questions very quickly and periodically checking in to see how everything was going. This was far and away my best AirBnB experience over the past 7 years! We will definitely return here sometime in the summer.

A nice way to escape the DMV for a weekend! The hot tub was excellent and it was really nice to have a fire. I would recommend staying here if you are a party of 2-4 adults. A couple of notes though for people planning on booking this place:
1. There is a wood-burning stove but you have to bring your own firewood so plan accordingly.
2. While the listing says "10 Guests" I think sleeping 4-5 adults (MAX!) is more accurate. The bunk beds shown in the photos are small and meant for kids so sleeping adults there would pretty impossible. And the two full beds shown side by side in the listing are located in the loft area and don't have a door for privacy- they are more semi-private. There is a pull-out couch in the living room, but the living room is fairly small so if converted into a bed it will take up a significant portion of the communal space.
3. Only one bathroom.
4. The hot tub was really nice but there aren't any porch lights above it, and it gets pitch black at night.

This was an amazing stay!! The cabin itself was absolutely SPOTLESS. It was roomier than I expected, and there were lots of extra linens, dishes, pillows--everything we needed was available and easy to locate. There were even a couple of throws in the main room for snuggling on the sofa.
The host was very responsive to texts, and even messaged just to make sure we were checked in and happy with the rental.
The only--minor--issues we had was that there is only one bathroom and there is no dishwasher (which is clear in the description). The house is listed for up to ten people, and there is certainly enough sleeping space for that many, but I can't imagine ten people trying to share one bathroom. And I hate handwashing dishes, so that was mildly annoying but certainly not a deal breaker.
Overall, this was a great space for our trip, and I can't think of a single thing the host could have done to make our stay better. A++!

It was a beautiful house + location. We had a great time. The only thing was the cleanliness for the expense of the cleaning fee. We had requested a early check-in which in the manual it said is more than likely if there were no previous guests. So we were informed the cleaners were there and they would text when they were done. So we were expecting a text and never got one.. which was fine. I didn’t have a problem with checking in at the scheduled time, that wasn’t the issue. When we got there there was dead flys eye level as soon as you walked in the door, the stove was dirty, and there was dirt on the floor, and dead bugs behind the lamp. And I understand there’s bugs because it is a cabin and in the middle of the woods but when you’re being charged a high cleaning fee, and not able to check in early because the cleaners are there it is a little disappointing. Overall a good trip though!

We absolutely love this cabin in West Virginia! Everything was clean and well-maintained. We absolutely love the newer, clean hot tub and having fires in the woodstove on cool evenings. The fire pit, grill, and wooden deck were also great.
We enjoyed our day day trip to Winchester and did some antiquing in Berkeley Springs.
The lake wasn’t quite what we were expecting. It’s more like a large pond, but it has a nice deck to sit on and it’s very relaxing.
The Wi-Fi and TV worked great.

We had an OUTSTANDING stay at Linden Chalet. It was our 30th anniversary and this was perfect for us. Hot tub, fireplace, and a beautiful fall view through the windows. We had an amazing hike to Devil's Nose. Berkeley Springs offered delicious food from Lot 12 Public House and Charlotte's Cafe. The small shops in town were a great way to pass a couple of hours. There was so much we didn't get to do in the area but this chalet offered everything we needed for a quiet and relaxed time.

We had a wonderful stay at Tony’s! Everything was clean, the hot tub was luxurious, and the property was beautiful. A wonderful weekend in the woods. My only note was that while it does sleep 8, the house itself felt a little small for that many people. It probably would have been more comfortable for 4-6 people (especially with one bathroom). But aside from that we had a terrific time! Would love to come back again!

Mr. Tony was very responsive to all of our request. Our stay was peaceful and quiet!
There was a little bit of complication with the sporting complex passes. We had to request passes everyday we wanted to go, but didn’t receive consistent communication on getting them. I had to follow up with the host for the passes on both days I requested them after not receiving any notification that they were ready. We ended up getting someone else’s passes for our second day after we called up there ourselves.
Also, make sure you request extra towels. The sports complex does not offer towels for the pool, so you have to use the ones from your cabin.
Overall, this would not stop me from coming here again. Everything else was perfect and accommodating and Mr. Tony made us feel welcomed!

Great location to get away and visit with family in the area. Plenty of games to engage the kiddos. Enjoyed walks through the neighborhood and down to the stream. Very happy with extra heaters that we used on the fan setting to provide white noise when the kids went to bed. Also, lots of dishes available, which is not always the case with rentals, so it was easy to feed a sizeable family. Didn’t get to use the hot tub, but it looked and smelled very clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Location was beautiful and host was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the home seemed to be in need of and in the process of some repairs that we were unaware of when we booked. We chose to stay and made the host aware of the maintenance needs. The repairs that needed done did take away from the appeal and the clubhouse (not the hosts fault) was dirty and in need of updating. We were also unaware we would need to bring our own towels when using said clubhouse amenities which was inconvenient but not the end of the world. I would consider staying with this host again and would probably recommend them as a host. I just feel like I overpaid this time because the home did not present as it did in the listing.

Love the Hedgesville area and The Woods golf course that is close by. The Sports Center is an awesome extra – especially when you get lots of rain on your trip. Our kids used the indoor basketball courts there because it was too wet to do some other activities. Tony is responsive if you need anything. Love the hot tub – definitely a highlight of the place.

It was beautiful and definitely would be even more beautiful with the trees full of leaves. Tony was fast at responding.
Although, the hydrants were flushed in the community and we were told we would receive bottled water for the inconvenience but we waited and water never came. We did end up going to town and buying some to get us through. Water pressure was not that great to get showers.
The fan in downstairs are was extremely dusty and when we turned it on it did fling dust everywhere. The floors were not clean to walk on with socks so we kept our shoes/house shoes on until I did have to find a broom to sweep them up a little but other than that it was priced great for the time we needed it for. The spa was amazing as well as the amenities.

We had a great stay here. The place was very nice; a little smaller than it might seem in pictures, but still a great size for our party of 4. The hot tub was a highlight for us, nice and hot upon arrival. The fire pit and wood stove were also highlights for us (we bought some firewood nearby). The beds were comfy. The bedroom door to the main “master” bedroom does not latch shut. Also, the main outside door doesn’t shut very well either.
Tony was very proactive and responsive. Would stay at this property again.
Oh, be warned – the neighbor will message Tony if he doesn’t like something you did. I was walking our dog and accidentally crossed over onto the neighbor’s property line and he yelled through his house, “this isn’t your property.” And about a half hour later i I got a message from Tony about it (Tony was super kind though, he just mentioned that the neighbor tends to complain and to be sure to not cross the property line).

Tony is an amazing host. Wonderful with communication and truly cares about his guests. The home is a tad bit smaller than what it seems like in the pictures, but overall it’s a beautiful home. This is a great spot for a quick weekend getaway. My only thing that I wasn’t feeling about this home was the neighbor. The fire pit is located right next to his home so if you hang around that area be warned you may draw his attention. We didn’t get to hit the lake, so I can’t comment on that. If you talk to the host he will get you guest passes to the pool and basketball courts. Definitely worth the money and I would definitely stay again.

Tony was very nice and responsive. A couple areas of the house could use a little tlc like the upstairs loft and the downstairs bedroom (looks like they might be repainting?). But overall clean. The cabin was well equipped and the amnesties with the woods are really nice. We did struggle a little bit obtaining passes one day and the lady at the woods was kind of rude but it was to no fault of Tony. Biggest advice I have for anyone booking is to make sure you bring in all your foods. There is nothing very close to the cabin to eat and the roads are extremely curvy. Also besides the Woods amenities there is not a lot to do around that area. We ended up driving out to harpers ferry one day, Berkeley springs one day and up to Gettysburg.

We enjoyed our stay at the Linden Chalet. I loved the natural light coming in from the windows in the main room. We chose this place because we could use the sports complex, it had a private hot tub, and its proximity to Maryland & Virginia for some hiking. We ended up driving to Martinsburg, West Virginia a few times and it was a nice 30 minute drive.

We had a great time. The Rec center and lake so close by were definitely a draw, although there was an issue with the lake pass being missing and the lake attendant telling us the lake isn’t for homeowners in that neighborhood. We were allowed to stay and we enjoyed kayaking. The place was clean and had room for ten of us, but you’d definitely want to be close with the people you go with since there’s only one bathroom. Owner was responsive and the detailed info was much appreciated. This is a great place to stay for families to get to enjoy the peaceful outdoors and still have access to activities to keep the kids busy.

Cabin was very nice. My teens loved it. Pool and sports center were incredible and only a 2 min drive. The pool was surrounded on 3 sides by a pond. My boys went back and forth to fish in pond. There was laundry machines in sports center building which was very helpful for us. There was a restaurant at golf course and another pool. My husband and son loved the golf course. But restaurant closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Not much else near as far as stores or restaurants. Cabin had everything you would need in kitchen to cook a meal. Extra linens, extra towels, grill. Tony was very responsive. Great getaway to relax and unwind.

Had a lovely stay at Tony’s place! Pictures matched the description- the house was comfortable for 5-6 people. Tony was very responsive with any questions/requests I had and even allowed early check-in since there wasn’t a guest staying the night before we reserved. Neighborhood (The Woods) was quiet, safe, and a great getaway for anyone wanting to spend some time outside the city. We had a very nice, peaceful stay. We enjoyed being out in the middle of nature and having the luxury of the hot tub and the sports center. Tony was very proactive about providing details and answering questions and was even able to offer us an early check in. Our only complaint is how hot the house was. The listing boasts “AC offered to keep the house cool on hot days,” however there is only one window unit in the master bedroom. So, only that one bedroom was bearable to be in. So, if you’re coming with a family or large group, plan to pack plenty of fans in order to stay cool.

I absolutely loved my stay! The home was even bigger than it appeared in the pictures and was absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked with excellent cookware/knives, the TV had Netflix and Hulu, the internet was fast, and there were tons of fun board games and yard games. Some other highlights include the hot tub, which was fantastic, and the access to the recreation center, which has indoor tennis, basketball, and racquetball, and even free equipment to use! We enjoyed how peaceful the place was and the beautiful forest surroundings. Even in the winter wind and cold the home was cozy and warm.
Tony in particular was a fantastic host, answering our questions very quickly and periodically checking in to see how everything was going. This was far and away my best AirBnB experience over the past 7 years! We will definitely return here sometime in the summer.

Beautiful place in the woods! We loved the hot tub (which I believe maxes out at 8 people) and fireplace. Very cozy. Great streaming services. Within 20-30 minutes of great restaurants, artsy towns, and several spas. Beautifully decorated rooms. We didn’t use the firepit, but it’s a great option for cooler nights. Tony was an amazing host he stayed in contact with me before and during my three day stay with my two kids and fiancée. His cabin in the woods is just ultimately beautiful. Very clean and spacious. We used the passes for the sports center as well which had an indoor pool, playground and workout area. The hot tub under the stars at night WAS JUST PEACEFUL AND BEYOND PERFECT. And the I highly recommended any of Tonys places as you will not be disappointed with the house, location or host. I will be definitely be booking another cabin by Tony 😍

A nice way to escape the DMV for a weekend! The hot tub was excellent and it was really nice to have a fire. I would recommend staying here if you are a party of 2-4 adults. A couple of notes though for people planning on booking this place:
1. There is a wood-burning stove but you have to bring your own firewood so plan accordingly.
2. While the listing says “10 Guests” I think sleeping 4-5 adults (MAX!) is more accurate. The bunk beds shown in the photos are small and meant for kids so sleeping adults there would pretty impossible. And the two full beds shown side by side in the listing are located in the loft area and don’t have a door for privacy- they are more semi-private. There is a pull-out couch in the living room, but the living room is fairly small so if converted into a bed it will take up a significant portion of the communal space.
3. Only one bathroom.
4. The hot tub was really nice but there aren’t any porch lights above it, and it gets pitch black at night.

This was an amazing stay!! The cabin itself was absolutely SPOTLESS. It was roomier than I expected, and there were lots of extra linens, dishes, pillows–everything we needed was available and easy to locate. There were even a couple of throws in the main room for snuggling on the sofa.
The host was very responsive to texts, and even messaged just to make sure we were checked in and happy with the rental.
The only–minor–issues we had was that there is only one bathroom and there is no dishwasher (which is clear in the description). The house is listed for up to ten people, and there is certainly enough sleeping space for that many, but I can’t imagine ten people trying to share one bathroom. And I hate handwashing dishes, so that was mildly annoying but certainly not a deal breaker.
Overall, this was a great space for our trip, and I can’t think of a single thing the host could have done to make our stay better. A++!

It was a beautiful house + location. We had a great time. The only thing was the cleanliness for the expense of the cleaning fee. We had requested a early check-in which in the manual it said is more than likely if there were no previous guests. So we were informed the cleaners were there and they would text when they were done. So we were expecting a text and never got one.. which was fine. I didn’t have a problem with checking in at the scheduled time, that wasn’t the issue. When we got there there was dead flys eye level as soon as you walked in the door, the stove was dirty, and there was dirt on the floor, and dead bugs behind the lamp. And I understand there’s bugs because it is a cabin and in the middle of the woods but when you’re being charged a high cleaning fee, and not able to check in early because the cleaners are there it is a little disappointing. Overall a good trip though!

We absolutely love this cabin in West Virginia! Everything was clean and well-maintained. We absolutely love the newer, clean hot tub and having fires in the woodstove on cool evenings. The fire pit, grill, and wooden deck were also great.
We enjoyed our day day trip to Winchester and did some antiquing in Berkeley Springs.
The lake wasn’t quite what we were expecting. It’s more like a large pond, but it has a nice deck to sit on and it’s very relaxing.
The Wi-Fi and TV worked great.
Tony’s communication was thorough and excellent and we felt very taken care of. I’m sure we will visit again!

Just what we needed. A beautiful cabin set in the forest, it was very peaceful and quiet, and the leaves were near peak foliage. Tony’s communication was excellent and we really appreciated how helpful he was. Also, the Devil’s Nose hiking trail is very close and highly recommended.

We had an OUTSTANDING stay at Linden Chalet. It was our 30th anniversary and this was perfect for us. Hot tub, fireplace, and a beautiful fall view through the windows. We had an amazing hike to Devil’s Nose. Berkeley Springs offered delicious food from Lot 12 Public House and Charlotte’s Cafe. The small shops in town were a great way to pass a couple of hours. There was so much we didn’t get to do in the area but this chalet offered everything we needed for a quiet and relaxed time.

The cabin was great for a weekend stay. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. If you approach your time remembering that it’s a cabin, you’ll have a great time. There was some minor cleaning issues, the paint is chipping in areas, and the fire pit chairs could use some repairs, but for a stay in the woods, this comes with the territory. The beds are very comfortable, the appliances work well, kitchen has what you need for making basic meals, and the surroundings are quiet and laid back.
