Positive:
Beautiful remote woodsy setting and a very comfortable and clean home. We loved our stay here, very convenient to explore the state park and Berkeley Springs. The water access would be great for summer visits to go tubing and kayaking–we were here in early April, so we weren't able to play in the river, but it looks wonderful. Nice firepit outside and a cosy woodstove inside, with comfortable spaces for the family to gather both inside and on the porch. Highly recommend, and would definitely return.
Negative:
We didn't encounter any issues other than a screen door off its runner, which didn't bother us at all but we reported it to the hosts.

We spent 4 days in Tony’s house. It was a great time and a quiet holiday. We stayed with the kids, they really liked the house and especially the fire we made one evening. The most important thing for us was a quiet place, away from the noisy city we came from. And we found it here. As for the house itself, it is equipped with everything you need! We only took our clothes with us) We would like to recommend this house for a family holiday.

Loved this place! The hosts were great and responsive. I really enjoyed the porch and sitting out there with my dog. The cabin is pretty far out there, but nice and peaceful. Would love to stay again and explore more in the area. Thanks for hosting me!

Extremely clean cabin. Very well equipped, added extras were a bonus ie coffee machine and games/books/dvds.
Outdoor area is great for all season, outdoor heater is a plus for colder weather.
Only slight criticism is the pillows and sheets weren’t cotton. The pillows were uncomfortable for us.

I had an excellent experience with Tony. He was very flexible with check in and check out. The place is GORGEOUS. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to have some labeling on the indoor fireplace because that was a bit confusing at first but once we got it together it added an incredible sense of home and coziness. I appreciated how close the outside fire pit was to the house it was great for the chilly night and we could see the fire from the porch as well. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!! Highly recommend. Thanks for everything!
