We enjoyed our getaway in the woods. perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature!

We really wanted to love our stay. The location is beautiful and Berkeley Springs is great.
We ran into several issues that impacted our experience. The dishwasher was either never ran or emptied. It had dirty food /dishes and smelled of mildew. The shower curtain had an orange mildew on it that had not been cleaned or replaced in a long time. There were mouse droppings in the corner of a few rooms / closets /pull out couch.The fire pit was unusable due to downed trees, I reached out to Tony and he said thanks for pointing it out and he’ll have the maintenance people take care of it ASAP however there were multiple reviews complaining of this issue that go back a couple months, clearly not a priority.
Bugs are understandable in a rural setting but a lot of the window AC units had no seal so bugs can get in easily, ran into quite a few german cockroaches as well.
The back deck has smaller stairs then normal and is very slippery when wet. Sadly we cannot upload images to review.

The description of the house “Modern decor, hot tub, fire pit…” we couldn’t use the HT r FP because of their condition. The only reason we chose this house. We asked for 1/2 our money back because we didn’t get what we paid for. Was only refund the 1st nights stay(least expensive) plus cleaning fee. The place was FILTHY!!! A dishwasher overloaded full of dirty dishes, dog hair ALL OVER the sheets and comforter, dust and dog hair all around the bed and behind the nightstands. I have lots of pictures and videos as proof of the condition of the house. Will NEVER stay with this company again. May not use AB&B again. Never had this experience with VRBO. When we took out the trash there was gross trash in the bottom of the trash can. Could be where the smell was coming from. I hope I can share my photos in this review

it was an amazing two nights to get away from people and have peace. The hot tub was perfect, it was nice and cozy. Theres plenty of beds to sleep on. They provided everything you needed besides food. They was very very clean, not a mess or scratch anywhere in the house. Overall, i would 100% stay here again

Great place! Lots of bedrooms, nice kitchen, nice hot tub. The hot in is on the front porch which feels a little odd and isn’t very private, but it’s very nice!

I really don’t like to complain but this has been the worst Airbnb experience ever.
I got a message to bring my own firewood, but when I arrived, there was an entire tree that had fallen on the entire fire pit area so we could not use it which was very disappointing. It looks like they had cut up some of the tree and have been working on it but they did not clean up the fire pit area so we were unable to use it. We had brought wood since it they told us to and were very disappointed to see it was not usable since that was something we were looking forward to doing. We contacted the owners and they said was sorry and “It’s unfortunate that you were looking forward to using it.” I really wish they would’ve told us cause I could’ve brought my own fire pit along with the wood. There was lots of other issues- it is not stocked with coffee, bed smell like pee, broken doors, no screens on windows, dirty, and unorganized kitchen, games are messy, broken, and more but limited space here.

overall we had a wonderful stay. it’s easy to find, on the outskirts of town. 5 minutes to the tourist spots and 7 minutes to sheetz. easy to leave town and go into surrounding states. hot tub was easily accessed on the front porch. easy check in with the lock box and Tony was easy to communicate with, checking in along the way. we would definitely recommend this house. tons of room and pretty clean.

Stayed one night with two friends on our way to MD. Felt like a family camp.
certainly family friendly with the bunk beds.
We booked this location for the hot tub and we’re happy we did.
Tub was clean and operated w/o issue. The towels by the sliding doors to the hot tub and rack next to it were convenient.
all in all it was comfortable and homey.
Would book again if in the area.

We had a lovely stay at Tony’s! It was so convenient to get into town, and we loved the front porch (especially with the gate for our dog). We brought a 1 year old and having the french doors in between the dining room and rest of the house was so helpful to separate out. We snagged this Airbnb last minute with a discount applied, which made the value worthwhile. We would definitely come again!

Everything about this place was great, other than the cleanliness, which made the trip awful for us.
The place was super dirty. We found OLD mouse droppings, lyme and mold on the shower curtains, food on the floor under the sofa including an entire orange peel. We had no dishes available, since they were unwashed in the dishwasher when we arrived. The TV had food and fingerprints on it from previous guests, the trash can had bacon grease(?)in the bottom of it, there was food crumbs inside the cabinet where the “clean” pans are kept, and also along the edge of the cabinets where they meet the floor.
On top of all of this, someone showed up unannounced to our Airbnb while we were out at the grocery store. We found an unopened water bottle on the front porch that we did not leave behind, and was not there when we arrived. When we asked the host if he had come to the Airbnb, he said it could’ve been the handyman and he’ll get back to us, but never did. We still don’t know who was there…

Hot tub and proximity to Berkeley Springs were the selling point for our small group. Great getaway weekend with the girls, relaxing spot. Firepit is a nice touch that we would use in warmer weather. Good lounging space. Good value. Host was proactive and responsive.

I enjoyed my stay at this cabin in Berkeley Springs. The location is great—close to town and easy to find. Tony was very responsive, and all the amenities worked well, including plenty of dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, and cleaning supplies. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The living areas were overall pretty clean. However, the pots and pans were scratched, and most didn’t have lids, except for the largest pot. If you cook frequently or plan to stay for a while, I recommend bringing your own pots and pans.

This was a wonderful stay. The property is in a peaceful and beautiful forest setting, yet it’s only minutes drive to downtown. Kitchen is fully stocked. The whole place is clean and homey. Host was very friendly and communicative. The house was warm as we entered, and the hot tub was ready. Very comfortable beds and soft sheets. We had a great time.

Tony’s place is very close to the heart of Berkeley Springs. It’s roomy and had everything we needed as a family of 4. Tony was very proactive with his communication and the house manual gave us all of the info we needed to figure out how everything worked. We’ll definitely stay again if the need arises.

This is a nice place for a family. It is close to the town of Berkley Springs, which was important for us. The snow created a problem for my car and we had great difficulty getting to the cabin and could not use the driveway due to the ice and snow. We kept the car at the top of the hill and never were able to access the driveway – which was not cleaned during our stay. The cabin is very nice and allowed us to cook and enjoy a nice home environment. There are no TVs in the bedroom but the main TV was good. The dining area is very nice and adds to the space to enjoy the woods. There is an early check out at 10 am and you cannot check in until 4 pm — if you want to add an hour or so either way, you have to pay for that change.

The property is beautiful. I was only there for work so I didn’t get to take full advantage of the huge front porch, the hot tub, etc but I had a big smile every day when leaving and arriving at how absolutely beautiful the property is. I wish the house had a washer and dryer but otherwise, everything was fine.

My sister and I had a wonderful relaxing stay here. The house is perfectly laid out and the beds were extremely comfortable. Loved the location, close to town but very private and quiet. We would definitely love a return visit!

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The grill was used the most for cooking, it is in great condition. There are no grill utensils to use but there are some in the kitchen to use. Tony answered my questions very quickly. We let Tony we would like extra towels since there was no washer and dryer. The hot tub was great. Some cleaning could be done to the place. I would like to stay at some other places Tony has listed in the area.

A nice place to spend a few nights. Some feedback and a few items to consider:
– Front door was unlocked with the key in the deadbolt when we arrived. Not a big deal but it was unsecure for some period of time.
– Hot tub had no cover so it got a bit dirty but it did maintain the temperature.
– Located on a fairly busy road, definitely not secluded.
– One of the neighbor’s down the street was not a fan of us walking our dogs on the street and warned us that he had German Shephards. We never veered off the main street but he acted like it was his personal drive.
– Generally clean but could really use a deep clean. When pulling out the sofabed it was covered in crumbs.
– House had no TP but owner pointed out where we could get more in a secure area.
– Lawn games were plentiful and as described.
– Front of house exterior power outlets and porch fan and fan lights did not work.
– Good internet.
– Nice fire pit and furniture.

My friends and I enjoyed our brief stay, although we were disappointed to receive only towel each to use for both showering and the hot tub (pls provide separate towels for hot tub). Tony was very responsive and the place was clean. He offered early check-in but wanted to slip in an upcharge of $59 for only a 2-hr difference. My biggest complaint is that upon making the reservation on Aug. 8, Tony asked how many people would be staying for towels and linens. The listing said it accommodated 5 (even though it can certainly host more) and at that time there were 6 of us. Tony surprised me on Aug. 13, the day before check-in and well beyond the cancellation deadline to modify the reservation with an upcharge of $104.12 because of the 6th person. He should have said something about it 5 days earlier. It felt deceptive. Unfortunately, two of my friends couldn’t make it so I declined the modification. PLEASE BE TRANSPARENT ABOUT ALL COSTS in your ad, including upgrades.

Great house! Plenty of space and beds for multiple people. Parking galore. Huge front porch with hot tub and grill. Everything worked and was clean. WiFi worked fine. Great location just minutes from Berkeley Springs and great access to Route 9 if going to Paw Paw or Romney. I would definitely rent this house again.

Happy to have stayed at this cabin by Berkeley Springs. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue (used items left behind from previous tenants, sticky stain on hardwood) but that being said, the space was as-described and more than spacious enough for a couple’s getaway at an affordable price and with the amenities promised (fire pit + hot tub) in clean, working order. Area is beautiful with Green Ridge Forest + Overlook nearby and plenty of fantastic breweries and distilleries in the area. A big thank you to Tony for being responsive and helpful during our stay.
IMPORTANT RECC TO ANYONE STAYING: Bring bugspray and make sure doors/openings are closed in house at night or risk the wrath of the katydid!

Great place. Plenty of room, clean and had enough kitchen supplies for us to make all our meals at the location. Good place to relax and unwind. The place has window AC units, which worked well to keep it cool.

Pine Hallow is the perfect getaway! We opted to stay at the property all weekend and take full advantage of the amenities (hot tub, fire pit, indoor and outdoor games) but the town of Berkeley Springs was less than a 15 minute drive which offered restaurants, shops, museums and much more! Tony was a great host – checked in before and after our stay, responded quickly when we had questions about the house and offered some recommendations on things to do around the area. I look forward to staying with Tony again at Pine Hallow or at another one of his awesome properties!

Great place for a little getaway. Tony’s place was super clean and it had everything you needed for a stress free, relaxing stay. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after a long day of hiking. It is close to downtown Berkley Springs which is nice when you want to jump in the car to grab a bite to eat. Tony was great with communicating with us the whole time. I would definitely recommend a stay here and will definitely be back for my next stay in the area.

We had a great stay at Tony’s cabin. He was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub was very clean and the perfect temperature to relax after a day of bike riding and hiking. The location is close to town and only a short drive to C&O Rail Trails and Cacapon State Park. Had a great stay at this booking. The space was cozy, beds/bedding were soft, and the hot tub was perfect for a rainy afternoon. Tony was very helpful through the stay with recommendations when needed. I’ll add that there was some construction going on at a nearby property and could hear large equipment at times in the home- it did not disrupt our stay at all but feels worthy the point out for anyone prioritizing a quiet stay.

Tony’s place was great! The location to Berkeley Springs was perfect for what we were looking for, close to town but felt peaceful in the woods. It’s also a short drive to Cacapon State Park which was our reason for the trip (note that we missed the road to the northern most point of VA is closed Nov-April) Awesome looking mountain bike trails, dog park, hiking (for winter months). Hot tub is always a great thing to have when its cold and thanks to it being on the covered porch we were able to enjoy it while it rained Saturday. Our favorite part of the house was the dining area which had a very Zen feel to it and was very relaxing. We like to cook when we travel and I felt like Tony’s place had all of the pots and pans and utensils we needed.

Our party of six really enjoyed the place— the hot tub, and living areas really were perfect. Although some updates are needed, like small water damage in bathroom, however it didn’t bother us at all. The house is very clean and you honestly would not know that dogs are allowed. The gated porch is perfect for kids or dogs and everything worked perfectly. A quick 4 minute drive puts you in down town Berkley Springs. The games were a nice touch! Tony was very communicative.

Our multi-generational family had a great time at this cabin-like home set in the woods (yet just a skip and a hop to Berkeley Springs). Fire-pits at both the front of the home and in back made roasting marshmallows easy. The elder of our group enjoyed a long bike-ride around the area.

We brought a 1 year old and having the french doors in between the dining room and rest of the house was so helpful to separate out. We snagged this Airbnb last minute with a discount applied, which made the value worthwhile. We would definitely come again!

Everything about this place was great, other than the cleanliness, which made the trip awful for us.
The place was super dirty. We found OLD mouse droppings, lyme and mold on the shower curtains, food on the floor under the sofa including an entire orange peel. We had no dishes available, since they were unwashed in the dishwasher when we arrived. The TV had food and fingerprints on it from previous guests, the trash can had bacon grease(?)in the bottom of it, there was food crumbs inside the cabinet where the “clean” pans are kept, and also along the edge of the cabinets where they meet the floor.
On top of all of this, someone showed up unannounced to our Airbnb while we were out at the grocery store. We found an unopened water bottle on the front porch that we did not leave behind, and was not there when we arrived. When we asked the host if he had come to the Airbnb, he said it could’ve been the handyman and he’ll get back to us, but never did. We still don’t know who was there…

Hot tub and proximity to Berkeley Springs were the selling point for our small group. Great getaway weekend with the girls, relaxing spot. Firepit is a nice touch that we would use in warmer weather. Good lounging space. Good value. Host was proactive and responsive.

I enjoyed my stay at this cabin in Berkeley Springs. The location is great—close to town and easy to find. Tony was very responsive, and all the amenities worked well, including plenty of dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, and cleaning supplies. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The living areas were overall pretty clean. However, the pots and pans were scratched, and most didn’t have lids, except for the largest pot. If you cook frequently or plan to stay for a while, I recommend bringing your own pots and pans.

This was a wonderful stay. The property is in a peaceful and beautiful forest setting, yet it’s only minutes drive to downtown. Kitchen is fully stocked. The whole place is clean and homey. Host was very friendly and communicative. The house was warm as we entered, and the hot tub was ready. Very comfortable beds and soft sheets. We had a great time.

Tony's place is very close to the heart of Berkeley Springs. It's roomy and had everything we needed as a family of 4. Tony was very proactive with his communication and the house manual gave us all of the info we needed to figure out how everything worked. We'll definitely stay again if the need arises.

This is a nice place for a family. It is close to the town of Berkley Springs, which was important for us. The snow created a problem for my car and we had great difficulty getting to the cabin and could not use the driveway due to the ice and snow. We kept the car at the top of the hill and never were able to access the driveway - which was not cleaned during our stay. The cabin is very nice and allowed us to cook and enjoy a nice home environment. There are no TVs in the bedroom but the main TV was good. The dining area is very nice and adds to the space to enjoy the woods. There is an early check out at 10 am and you cannot check in until 4 pm -- if you want to add an hour or so either way, you have to pay for that change.

The property is beautiful. I was only there for work so I didn't get to take full advantage of the huge front porch, the hot tub, etc but I had a big smile every day when leaving and arriving at how absolutely beautiful the property is. I wish the house had a washer and dryer but otherwise, everything was fine.

My sister and I had a wonderful relaxing stay here. The house is perfectly laid out and the beds were extremely comfortable. Loved the location, close to town but very private and quiet. We would definitely love a return visit!

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The grill was used the most for cooking, it is in great condition. There are no grill utensils to use but there are some in the kitchen to use. Tony answered my questions very quickly. We let Tony we would like extra towels since there was no washer and dryer. The hot tub was great. Some cleaning could be done to the place. I would like to stay at some other places Tony has listed in the area.

A nice place to spend a few nights. Some feedback and a few items to consider:
- Front door was unlocked with the key in the deadbolt when we arrived. Not a big deal but it was unsecure for some period of time.
- Hot tub had no cover so it got a bit dirty but it did maintain the temperature.
- Located on a fairly busy road, definitely not secluded.
- One of the neighbor's down the street was not a fan of us walking our dogs on the street and warned us that he had German Shephards. We never veered off the main street but he acted like it was his personal drive.
- Generally clean but could really use a deep clean. When pulling out the sofabed it was covered in crumbs.
- House had no TP but owner pointed out where we could get more in a secure area.
- Lawn games were plentiful and as described.
- Front of house exterior power outlets and porch fan and fan lights did not work.
- Good internet.
- Nice fire pit and furniture.

My friends and I enjoyed our brief stay, although we were disappointed to receive only towel each to use for both showering and the hot tub (pls provide separate towels for hot tub). Tony was very responsive and the place was clean. He offered early check-in but wanted to slip in an upcharge of $59 for only a 2-hr difference. My biggest complaint is that upon making the reservation on Aug. 8, Tony asked how many people would be staying for towels and linens. The listing said it accommodated 5 (even though it can certainly host more) and at that time there were 6 of us. Tony surprised me on Aug. 13, the day before check-in and well beyond the cancellation deadline to modify the reservation with an upcharge of $104.12 because of the 6th person. He should have said something about it 5 days earlier. It felt deceptive. Unfortunately, two of my friends couldn't make it so I declined the modification. PLEASE BE TRANSPARENT ABOUT ALL COSTS in your ad, including upgrades.

I came with family for a couple nights on a weekend and it was great! The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and clean. We love the nearby little towns, Lake Cacapon, and the escape in nature. Overall, it was a great deal and stay at Tony's!

Great house! Plenty of space and beds for multiple people. Parking galore. Huge front porch with hot tub and grill. Everything worked and was clean. WiFi worked fine. Great location just minutes from Berkeley Springs and great access to Route 9 if going to Paw Paw or Romney. I would definitely rent this house again.

Happy to have stayed at this cabin by Berkeley Springs. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue (used items left behind from previous tenants, sticky stain on hardwood) but that being said, the space was as-described and more than spacious enough for a couple's getaway at an affordable price and with the amenities promised (fire pit + hot tub) in clean, working order. Area is beautiful with Green Ridge Forest + Overlook nearby and plenty of fantastic breweries and distilleries in the area. A big thank you to Tony for being responsive and helpful during our stay.
IMPORTANT RECC TO ANYONE STAYING: Bring bugspray and make sure doors/openings are closed in house at night or risk the wrath of the katydid!

Great place. Plenty of room, clean and had enough kitchen supplies for us to make all our meals at the location. Good place to relax and unwind. The place has window AC units, which worked well to keep it cool.

Pine Hallow is the perfect getaway! We opted to stay at the property all weekend and take full advantage of the amenities (hot tub, fire pit, indoor and outdoor games) but the town of Berkeley Springs was less than a 15 minute drive which offered restaurants, shops, museums and much more! Tony was a great host - checked in before and after our stay, responded quickly when we had questions about the house and offered some recommendations on things to do around the area. I look forward to staying with Tony again at Pine Hallow or at another one of his awesome properties!

Great place for a little getaway. Tony's place was super clean and it had everything you needed for a stress free, relaxing stay. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after a long day of hiking. It is close to downtown Berkley Springs which is nice when you want to jump in the car to grab a bite to eat. Tony was great with communicating with us the whole time. I would definitely recommend a stay here and will definitely be back for my next stay in the area.

We had a great stay at Tony's cabin. He was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub was very clean and the perfect temperature to relax after a day of bike riding and hiking. The location is close to town and only a short drive to C&O Rail Trails and Cacapon State Park. We would be happy to book with Tony again next time we visit.

Had a great stay at this booking. The space was cozy, beds/bedding were soft, and the hot tub was perfect for a rainy afternoon. Tony was very helpful through the stay with recommendations when needed. I’ll add that there was some construction going on at a nearby property and could hear large equipment at times in the home- it did not disrupt our stay at all but feels worthy the point out for anyone prioritizing a quiet stay.

Tony's place was great! The location to Berkeley Springs was perfect for what we were looking for, close to town but felt peaceful in the woods. It's also a short drive to Cacapon State Park which was our reason for the trip (note that we missed the road to the northern most point of VA is closed Nov-April) Awesome looking mountain bike trails, dog park, hiking (for winter months). Hot tub is always a great thing to have when its cold and thanks to it being on the covered porch we were able to enjoy it while it rained Saturday. Our favorite part of the house was the dining area which had a very Zen feel to it and was very relaxing. We like to cook when we travel and I felt like Tony's place had all of the pots and pans and utensils we needed.

Beautiful cabin just minutes away from downtown Berkeley Springs. We loved the peaceful surroundings and how close it was to everything. The inside of the cabin was beautiful with lots of light, and Tony was incredibly responsive and had a lot of local recommendations! Would definitely stay here again.

Our party of six really enjoyed the place— the hot tub, and living areas really were perfect. Although some updates are needed, like small water damage in bathroom, however it didn’t bother us at all. The house is very clean and you honestly would not know that dogs are allowed. The gated porch is perfect for kids or dogs and everything worked perfectly. A quick 4 minute drive puts you in down town Berkley Springs. The games were a nice touch! Tony was very communicative.

Our multi-generational family had a great time at this cabin-like home set in the woods (yet just a skip and a hop to Berkeley Springs). Fire-pits at both the front of the home and in back made roasting marshmallows easy. The elder of our group enjoyed a long bike-ride around the area.
