Tony was an absolutely fantastic host throughout our Thanksgiving stay! He was responsive, friendly, and proactive with suggestions for how to enjoy the area (we took his hiking recommendation and had a wonderful time!). The cabin was super cozy, had good heating, and had lots of space for parking right in front.
However, we had a run in with the neighbor’s dog. We love dogs and many other animals but we were a little startled when the neighbor’s large dog which had been barking suddenly appeared at our porch while we were using the hot tub. We therefore wished there was a little more privacy.
The water from the sink faucet (sometimes the shower too) was tinted slightly orange, and had a metallic taste. We had lots of store-bought water anyway so it wasn’t a big deal.
Still, our stay was great and we couldn’t have asked for a better host!

The house was super cute and the beds were really comfortable. It wasn’t as private as I expected since another house is pretty close, but the tall private fence kept the hot tub area completely hidden. Overall a nice stay.

Just like last time we stayed at one of Tony’s places, the experience was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, and Tony was very easy to communicate with while at the same time not making you feel intruded upon. Will definitely keep looking up the blue maple properties.

I stayed at this cabin in the woods last Saturday for a one-night getaway, and it was a peaceful retreat overall. The cabin has everything you need and the hot tub is fantastic—definitely the highlight of the stay. The area is quiet, though there were some barking dogs from neighboring properties earlier in the evening; they eventually settled down, so it didn’t disrupt the night. The host was responsive and helpful, making the check-in process smooth. One thing to note: the WiFi is extremely spotty, so don’t rely on it if you need consistent internet. Overall, it’s a great spot for a relaxing escape and a bit of peace of mind.

Beautiful place, the hot tub was fun and all instructions for the entire process were pretty clear in detailed, was closer to the surrounding neighbors than I expected but there was still a nice bit of privacy. The internal presence of the Airbnb is really nice, well decorated and lovely atmosphere

Wouldve rated 5 stars if the up-front communication was a little more clear when it comes to opting into early check in and late check out. My partner and I were meeting up from completely opposite directions (upstate PA for him, Richmond VA for me) and the auto-communication stated that as long as we asked about early check in and late check out no later than 24 hours in advance, we should be fine. I asked to add-on both a week in advance and they could not accommodate because they only have a “few upgrades” available and they “sell out” those upgrades fast. Had I known when I booked, I wouldve tried to get it right away just in case, but we werent sure what our schedule would look like definitively until a week out. I will say tho, the host said he’d let us know if cleaners were done early so we can setup at no extra charge. Overall the experience was really nice, place was spotless and it was a great getaway for my partner and I.

Peaceful location — there are adjacent neighbors but they didn’t seem to pay us much mind and were relatively quiet
Online photos do match what you see in person
Indoors were clean and in good condition
Great proximity to beautiful trails in the area
Hot tub was wonderful after hikes (with post-hike showers of course)
Host was responsive and easy to get in touch with
Things to note for guests:
Travel route is a combination of paved and dirt roads – look out for a few gnarly potholes on the paved path
Bring your own pillow case if you have sensitivities to scented detergent
Check the hot tub condition on arrival (this is a general recommendation for any rental with a hot tub)
You will need to bring cooking essentials, such as seasoning, oils/butter, aluminum foil, dish sponge — but pots, pans, dishes, cups, mugs, and utensils are provided that include measuring cups and a bottle opener (this is noted by the host)
The mattress in the bedroom is on the firm side while the mattress in the loft seems to have a memory foam topper (we slept in the bedroom to avoid morning sunlight)
Bring house shoes/slippers for indoors
Bring firewood (this is noted by the host)
Negative:
Notes for the rental host: (small suggestions)
Face towels would be great – not just small wash cloths
Another towel hanging rack to use inside would be awesome
Cotton bed sheets would be a lovely upgrade

Really nice place. Very clean. Enjoyed the hot tub. We forgot a lighter so did not use the fire pit. Beds were very comfortable and clean. I wish I had more time there. My only suggestion is to repair/replace screen door and it would be nice to post nearby hiking trail access.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean and smelled amazing. Even the bath towels smelled fresh. The beds were super comfy, we loved the upstairs loft bedroom. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. My husband and I both agreed that our experience was even better than we expected. Tony was very responsive and helpful with communication. Would highly recommend!

When first arriving, the airbnb we initially booked was dirty because the cleaner cleaned the wrong house. Tony and his team quickly made adjustments and got us into a home where it was very nice, and also a bit better. If you’re looking for someone to book with, Tony is the right fit.

This is a very peaceful hideaway in West Virginia. It is a little bit of a travel to activities, dining, restaurants, etc., but there is lots to do at the cabin – large yard, fire pit, and hot tub. Only 1 bathroom and no washer but it had every amenity it stated it had. It was a little chilly in the winter – so definitely bring firewood for the wood burning stove to stay warm. The yard could use a good clean up (it no longer looks like the pictures), but otherwise everything was great!

This little chalet in the mountains of West Virginia was a beautiful, quiet, restful stay. We enjoyed the large windows with the great view, sunrises, and wildlife. The upstairs loft provided a great view upon waking. Tony was very responsive when contacted. We had a great stay!

The cabin was very cozy. Tony was accommodating with our request to alter our dates around, which we appreciated. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed the wood stove fireplace! Bring lots of groceries- we couldn’t find any delivery options and the closest spot for take out is about a 25 minute drive. Overall we had a nice stay.

One of the best retreats I had – perfect place to sit down with a book, enjoy the day, have a BBQ and lastly sync yourself in a hot tub. Also if the weather is good you can sit by the fire, lift your head and observe the stars.

The cabin was great for our week away. It was beautiful, quiet, and private.
It had everything we needed, and the hot tub was perfect.
There was a beehive that we found the first evening and Tony was right on it and send someone over to take care of them right away. Very responsive to messages, and helpful.
We will definitely look into one of his other properties the next time our family wants to get away.

This is the perfect cabin stay for a nice relaxing getaway! The neighbors are a bit close by but a privacy wall has been placed around the hot tub making it extra comfortable.

This place was so close to home but yet the perfect get away!! There are neighbors nearby, but everyone keeps to themselves and it’s quiet. It’s not only peaceful, but beautiful. My favorite part about the neighborhood was the lake in the middle. Perfect views through the mountains of good ole WV. The hot tub and fire pit made for a perfect couple nights. Tony was always responsive and attentive when I reached out. Super nice guy and super nice place! This place gave me the appreciation of peace & quiet. Highly recommend!! Pet friendly was a major perk for me. Comfortable as well 🙂

This is a nice little cabin to stay in. Outdoor space is small as far as deck space. There is a nice sized grill and a small 4 person hot tub. There is also a table and chairs for 4 on the deck, but it is a little tight. There is no grassy area. It is wooded with very close neighbors. Beds were comfortable! Kitchen very adequate, had everything we needed as far as utensils, dishes, and pots and pans. There is a lot of parking. Host was very responsive through text.

Our experience with Tony far exceeded this 5 star rating! Starting with a payment issue, that was in no way related to him but he still helped us figure it out. He was in communication throughout check in and check out and even offered helpful suggestions for dinner options. The cabin was also beautiful and very clean. It was everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing anniversary weekend!

This is a great property. We booked last minute so we got a reasonable rate. It had the amenities listed and the hot tub was pristine! The neighbors are very close but the property is quiet. We enjoyed our stay and Tony is amazing. He was proactive in reaching out to make sure things were going well and made sure our stay was wonderful. We highly recommend booking.

Nearly everything was great, definitely 4.89 stars. Exactly as described and the other reviews are accurate. My one complaint and one knit is that the sofa seats were extremely worn, we were sitting ass-to-metal, deep in the sofa, stuffing them would do fine, and the views were just ok. Great natural light, views are mostly wooded and the neighbors homes/cars/equipment/lives…the cabin is very near other cabins/homes/campers. All very very nice.

Great spot if you’re looking for nature and secluded time with the family! The roads might be rougher in the winter to navigate but for a summer spot this is perfect! Top notch place

One of the best retreats I had - perfect place to sit down with a book, enjoy the day, have a BBQ and lastly sync yourself in a hot tub. Also if the weather is good you can sit by the fire, lift your head and observe the stars.

Terrific place. My partner and I stayed for two nights. Perfect getaway place. Hot tub. Deck. Fireplace. BBQ. Cute. Clean. Tony was ultra fast in communicating. No complaints at all. We’d go back!

Immediately upon booking the air bnb, Tony was super responsive. The house felt like home and I highly recommend renting through him if you’re looking for a calm, peaceful environment for your next get away!

We really enjoyed the cabin. Very private and peaceful. We enjoyed the golf courses in the area. Your recommendation for dinner at Hillbilly Haven was a treat.

The cabin was great for our week away. It was beautiful, quiet, and private.
It had everything we needed, and the hot tub was perfect.
There was a beehive that we found the first evening and Tony was right on it and send someone over to take care of them right away. Very responsive to messages, and helpful.
We will definitely look into one of his other properties the next time our family wants to get away.

Tony is lovely, and his space is nice, but not secluded - there are many neighbors in view from anywhere you are. The drive up is pretty, and the space is well set up.

we had a great time. the place was spotless-extemely clean. the loft bedroom was one that we all had turns sleeping in. everything was as pictured. the hot tub and grill were nice added features. would love to come back.

This is the perfect cabin stay for a nice relaxing getaway! The neighbors are a bit close by but a privacy wall has been placed around the hot tub making it extra comfortable.

What a peaceful and quiet location! A beautiful home tucked away in the woods. House was clean upon arrival, and Tony was a very responsive and friendly host. Overall a great stay!

Overall my wife and I enjoyed the stay!! The hot tub was great!! The cabin was clean!! The only draw back was the internet speed was slower than what I am used to. We would go back!!

This place was so close to home but yet the perfect get away!! There are neighbors nearby, but everyone keeps to themselves and it’s quiet. It’s not only peaceful, but beautiful. My favorite part about the neighborhood was the lake in the middle. Perfect views through the mountains of good ole WV. The hot tub and fire pit made for a perfect couple nights. Tony was always responsive and attentive when I reached out. Super nice guy and super nice place! This place gave me the appreciation of peace & quiet. Highly recommend!! Pet friendly was a major perk for me. Comfortable as well 🙂

This is a nice little cabin to stay in. Outdoor space is small as far as deck space. There is a nice sized grill and a small 4 person hot tub. There is also a table and chairs for 4 on the deck, but it is a little tight. There is no grassy area. It is wooded with very close neighbors. Beds were comfortable! Kitchen very adequate, had everything we needed as far as utensils, dishes, and pots and pans. There is a lot of parking. Host was very responsive through text.

Our experience with Tony far exceeded this 5 star rating! Starting with a payment issue, that was in no way related to him but he still helped us figure it out. He was in communication throughout check in and check out and even offered helpful suggestions for dinner options. The cabin was also beautiful and very clean. It was everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing anniversary weekend!

Great place! Loved the cabin, the hot tub, and Tony's recommendations. Was closer to neighbors than I anticipated but there were barriers by the hot tub to provide some privacy.

Overall, my experience at Tony's Cabin was great.From the clean and peaceful surroundings and added fun of Jacuzzi, every aspect of my stay was truly memorable. Furthermore, Tony is a great communicator and tries help us anything we need.

Tony’s place was the perfect little getaway. Such a private and peaceful house. Everything was the same way as listed and the hot tub and wooded views were amazing. Tony was very responsive and checked in to make sure our stay was great.

Tony's place exceeded our expectations. It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved the hot tub and wood stove especially! The location was very peaceful and I enjoyed listening to and watching the birds. We hope to visit again!

This is a great property. We booked last minute so we got a reasonable rate. It had the amenities listed and the hot tub was pristine! The neighbors are very close but the property is quiet. We enjoyed our stay and Tony is amazing. He was proactive in reaching out to make sure things were going well and made sure our stay was wonderful. We highly recommend booking.

Nearly everything was great, definitely 4.89 stars. Exactly as described and the other reviews are accurate. My one complaint and one knit is that the sofa seats were extremely worn, we were sitting ass-to-metal, deep in the sofa, stuffing them would do fine, and the views were just ok. Great natural light, views are mostly wooded and the neighbors homes/cars/equipment/lives…the cabin is very near other cabins/homes/campers. All very very nice.
