Cabin and stay were just perfect for a quick getaway and a nice hike (trails close to the digs). Woodstove and hot tub added to the coziness and experience. I look forward to booking a cabin again in the future. Tony was a great host!

This is a secluded and charming little cabin. Plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out but also enjoy each other’s company. The hot tub was awesome and we appreciated the thorough handbook which included directions to the creek nearby. Berkeley Springs is not far away if you are looking for something to do. My husband enjoyed fishing at Cacapon State Park nearby.

Positive: Loved the privacy of the property. Very much enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Property very clean and well maintained. The host was wonderful and always responded within a few minutes. Negative: The shower was a bit small but had great water pressure and served it’s purpose.

This is a lovely, private getaway in a beautiful area. The space itself is spacious, and amenities are as described. There is a lovely creek nearby, and the area is quiet and serene. Tony is an incredibly responsive and proactive host. The space could use a little TLC to take care of some of the usual wear and tear of a rental property. There was nothing too crazy, but one of the couches was stained pretty badly and several things throughout had just been worn to the point where they probably needed to be replaced. Overall a lovely little place in a peaceful area, perfect for a weekend getaway!

Tony’s cabin was a great beautiful, quiet spot for a quick rainy get-away! We loved the hot-tub, big windows in the living room and box of games. The house was comfortable and relatively clean though a bit more rough around the edges than it looks in the pictures. Tony was a proactive host and I imagine would have been very responsive if anything came up (but thankfully it didn’t!)

We had a wonderful stay at Hillside Hideaway! Tony was a great host and exceptional communicator, from start to finish. Upon arrival, we found the cabin lit, smelling great, and welcoming after a long day and the late night drive. There was one small hiccup about the TVs, but Tony again responded about the issue very quickly, despite there not really being a solution. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had the perfect amount of space for the two of us. There was enough room for us to either cozy up in the same space or branch off into our favorite spots for some solo relaxation. Small note to future guests: the shower stall is quite small with a very high shower head that can’t really be shifted or redirected. We found that reducing the water pressure by not turning the shower fully on helped somewhat, but we think this would’ve been difficult for kids. We absolutely loved this location and host and look forward to checking out other listings or coming back here in the future!

The place looked just like the listing! I ended up not having any problems with cell phone reception (with Verizon) so that was a nice surprise. I didn’t have to use the wifi at all. The host was helpful and prompt at texting back. The place was clean and so was the hot tub. It was a nice and peaceful, private stay.

The location was absolutely beautiful! A great place to disconnect with my family. The cabin had everything we needed and some. The hot tub is wonderful in the evening. Our only critique is that the cabin needs a little maintenance. The toilet broke right upon our arrival and there were some broken blinds, but the host was responsive. Overall I would 100% stay again.

If you are looking for a place that’s totally free of other people surrounded by peace and quiet- this is your place! The whole weekend we didn’t see a single car drive on the road, a total escape from the city. Our two dogs loved the land and ability to run around but come inside and cool off inside while we relaxed by the fire or in the hot tub. Could not recommend this property enough! Tony checked in throughout the weekend.

Nice quiet place to stay.

Tony’s cabin was great for our weekend getaway. The cabin itself is perfect for a family or two couples, there is a very nice sun room and a living room, then two bedrooms and an open first floor with a kitchen and dining room. The property itself is very secluded and you can barely see the neighbor’s house at this time of year. We saw over two dozen deer on the property, the hot tub was amazing, and the indoor wood stove was incredible as well. The house is clean, well stocked, and has several yard games and board games/cards. Tony’s communication was great and he checked in on us a couple times via text. It is very close to the state park and other trailheads, and about 20 minutes to the town. Overall, this is a great spot if you want to relax, hike, and explore the surround area and towns.

Great place to stay if You have a huge group going . It was just my husband and I so we had more than enough room for our fur babies and us. Hot tub was clean and place was spotless and smelled good when walking in. Tony was a great host and let us check in a hour early & check out 30 min late with no problems (cool dude !)Only thing is we couldn’t find the ac so it was really hot at night although there was a fan in the room it didn’t do much but that’s just little things. The stream nearby was so clean and pretty I really enjoyed this place over all & I would definitely book again. 5/5 for us !

Tony was such a great host. His airbnb was super clean and what we expected. It was peaceful and relaxing. Lots a deer in the area. Close to downtown Berkeley spring and very close to Cacapon state park, which is an absolute must-visit.

We’ve enjoyed our stayed there ,it was sooooo peaceful. That’s what we’ve enjoyed the most. The dogs had tons of fun, and we saw fox, deers, Turkey, and bear. The jacuzzi was a hit, we were far away enough from the town and people but close enough to hit any restaurants or groceries.

The hot tub is the place to be at sun set! Tony’s place was the perfect getaway for me and my business partner. Because of the location and set up of the home, we were able to fit in some work and play. We hit the trails at the local Cacapon State Park, had a nice dinner/drink at the Canary Grill, and hopped around the cute shops in town. The home itself was just what we needed with the wood stove and hot tub! WiFi and cell service both worked just fine. Tony was helpful and responsive. Great experience! Thanks Tony!

Great spot

This spot was a great hideaway for the weekend! Because of our busy schedules we only got one night here, but it was well spent here. Out of the way but still close enough to town that I wasn’t overly worried about the drive between dinner and the Airbnb. Clean, instructions were clear and easy. Tony was especially engaging early on and I appreciate transparency from a host! Will be returning as soon as we can.

My new husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier with our stay! It was a beautiful and cozy cabin with absolutely gorgeous views all around and views even for the drive to the location. Tony kept great communication the entire time and was very helpful in recommendations for places to go. We had no problems at all with anything on the property for our week stay, it was great and the hot tub was a perfect bonus especially after hiking the nearby trails at Cacapon! We highly recommend this stay and are keeping it in mind as we would definitely stay here again

This place was exactly what I was looking for–secluded and quiet where I could get away just by myself and relax for a week. The sitting area were comfortable to sit and watch tv, and the internet connection was remarkably reliable for streaming. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen just fine (it’s not a huge chef’s kitchen, but it did what I needed it to). Being there in the summer, I was concerned about the a/c being but window units, but I ended up keeping one of the units off all together (it was loud) and the other two set to 75* and was perfectly comfortable. I did not make use of the grill, hot tub, or fire pit, but they looked inviting and easy to use. One thing to mention, which isn’t really a negative but something to consider, is that the roads to get to the cabin are rough backwoods roads. The gravel in the community wasn’t that big of an issue, but the road leading to the gravel road is narrow, unmarked, and rough with lots of hills and twists. Use caution.

We had a great stay with the kids! There were a few hiccups, but Tony was very responsive. The living room TV wasn’t a SmartTV which wasn’t a huge deal. It just would’ve made things with the kids a little easier. The propane tank for the grill was completely empty, so that was the only fairly major inconvenience after we had food prepped and ready to cook and had to figure out a plan of action there with hangry kids. Thankfully my mother lived close by and could bring one to us. Otherwise it was a great stay, great location, and we all had a great time!

Tony’s place was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable! Hot tub was a bonus. Convenient ten minutes to Cacapon Resort State Park. Communication with Tony was very good.

Everything about Tony’a cabin was great. The location was perfect, not too far but not to close from necessities. The mattress’ are not the greatest unless you enjoy a really firm mattress. The one thing that threw me off was when we left, my boyfriend realized he left his water bottle and we were already 45 minutes away, when i messaged tony he wanted a $20 service fee on top of shipping which would equal the cost of the water bottle.

I wanted a relaxed trip with some activities to keep busy with and this was perfect for it! The cabin is in a beautiful location. Beautiful Mountain View’s in the woods. Hot tub is incredible and relaxing. Overlooking the mountains in the distance. We used G maps and it took us right to address. No issues finding the place 🙂 I would recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle or SUV if you book this listing as the roads are unpaved & windy. Also bring your own amenities such as spices if you plan on cooking. Which you will need as the only thing you can find in the cabin is salt & pepper. The closet restaurants/ grocery are about 20-30 minute drive, so keep that in mind when booking. I would also suggest bringing body soap as we could not find any there except kid soap. Which we ended up using because we had nothing else. I would also suggest bringing an extra blanket if you want to cuddle up on the couch. Overall Tony was very communicative and it was a great getaway. Just a few things that could make it more accommodating for the guests that I’ve seen at other airbnbs.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at Tony’s! The house was cozy and was very clean. It was SO peaceful being up in the mountains. We also had a lovely little visit to the Cat Café which was only 20 minutes away! Lastly, Tony was quick to respond and was very helpful the entire time and even provided food recommendations. Overall we had a lovely stay and enjoyed every second. 🙂

Beautiful place in the woods. Loved the hot tub (of course). Definitely follow the instructions in the guide when driving there since Apple Maps will probably take you the wrong way. Also bring your own seasonings if you are looking to cook, but all of the necessary utensils were available in the kitchen. When booking for the winter, definitely recommend bringing a heavier duty vehicle to navigate the backroads that might be snowy or icy. Tony was very responsive throughout!

My partner and I actually got engaged while we were here and it was the perfect setting to celebrate the new chapter. This location was lovely, I adored the view and time spent here with friends. The nearby town and hiking was also idyllic – I was able to find some vegan friendly food options nearby which I wasn’t expecting. My only concern was that the next door neighbor has a blue line flag out front directly in the view of the property that troubled me and my guests, I feel it’s something to be aware of.

Great cabin! Good sized and could comfortably sleep 6 to 8 people. It was well-equipped with lots of silverware, utensils, knives, cutting boards, plates, cups, coffee mugs, bowls, pots and pans and bakeware…and a full size coffee maker with coffee and filters, creamer and sugar. The hot tub was perfect to relax in at the end of the day! We loved seeing the deer on the property and listening to the birds and squirrels! There is wifi for the tvs and your phone although my cell service worked here as well. It was tucked away enough that even though there are neighbors, they really cannot be seen or heard. Nice quiet little area amd a close enough drive if you need something from the store. The house was clean, the grill was a nice plus and there was enough space to be in the same place but be secluded from others. The bed was comfortable. Communication was stellar as well! Great cabin that’s out of the way, peaceful and quiet. Had good 5g connection and internet for getting work done and the area was nice. Private access to Sleepy creek(nearby local stream, beautiful clean water) was the highlight of this cabin and is highly recommended if you’re staying here. FYI bring food and water before coming, closest McDonald’s and gas station is at least 20 min away

Excellent get away. Roughly 20 minutes of a drive to everything Berkeley Springs has to offer. The fire pit is great. We stayed one night and saw about 12 deer, 7 of which were in the yard. Our dog loved the stream and hiking in the area.

This was our first visit to WV coming from the Hampton Roads area of VA. We decided on this property because of the proximity of public access to a creek. We spent a lot of time enjoying the shade and cool water hunting for crawdads and fossils. The interior of the home is very inviting and home like, with a stove, microwave and fridge and plenty of space to sleep for a family of 4. The bluetooth speaker was a special touch since we always have music playing. We loved that this property was pet friendly, since we could not imagine boarding our dog while on a family vacation. Berkeley Springs is a cute little town, and there is plenty of exploring to do nearby in Capacon State Park including a beautiful overlook with Instagram worthy views. We saw so many deer and left this spot feeling connected with nature and proud we got to share the joy of crawdad fishing with our kids. The house sits on a gravel road at the end of it, near a power line route. The house has two bedrooms and two sitting rooms with televisions in each. There is one bathroom with a shower. The house was very clean and had plates, cups, silverware, salt and pepper, and a full refrigerator and oven. The location is isolated away from the main road but there is a house that sits close by across the street.
