7/10 for this stay! We had fun, visited local shops, grilled out some, enjoyed making s’mores by the fire, and definitely relaxed a lot in the hot tub.

A great stay!

Great stay, hot tub was nice for the rainy week.

My family and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at Tony’s cabin. Not even the rain got in our way. Like others have mentioned, you quickly want to return back to the cabin and enjoy the peace and space to yourself.

Positive: We liked the quiet environment, hot tub and camp fire setting. The place was immaculate! Negative: There could be 2 more chairs at the camp fire. The floral smell in the cabin was overpowering and not pleasant. The 1st bedroom needed a place to hang clothes. More than 1 dish towel and another cooking pot would have been nice. Also there was no shelf in the shower. We had 4 people and there was not enough seating in the main cabin for all four of us.

Positive: It was very clean & the bed pillows were nice & fluffy. Negative: Everything was very nice.

This little cabin in the woods was a fantastic escape from reality! It was surrounded by trees and felt like you were in your own world! we had an awesome time. The only downside time being in nature is the creepy crawling friends! The hot tub must be a local hangout for them but it is manageable!

Tony was an amazing host he was very responsive and very flexible with our stay. The cabin was everything we expected and more! We had a phenomenal trip this past weekend! We are so beyond thankful and can’t wait to return again to create more memories!

The property was exactly as described. It was quiet and peaceful but also close to town and Cacapon State Park. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit and the house was cozy and comfortable. The host was very responsive and check in/out was super easy. There is a house close by as other reviews noted, however the owners have put up a fence making it feel very private. Great weekend getaway!

We had a great stay here. We were driving back home from Kentucky and did a last minute overnight stop to rest. This home was so cozy , private and close to so many stores which was great. We enjoyed the hot tub !

Positive: Interior Negative: The tubing connected to the Woodstove inside the property was almost completely disconnected, and has my husband not noticed due to the smoke in the building, the connection would have likely come lose and caused a fire. Additionally, the smoke detectors were dead so it would have been very dangerous for those sleeping and not as diligent. This was very frustrating for us.

We had a great overnight trip to Berkeley Springs for my birthday weekend. The cabin was great for my husband and I for the night. We enjoyed the hot tub and the bed was super comfy.. firm memory foam ( not everyone’s favorite). The only thing that was a bit intimidating for us was starting a wood fire so we were a bit cold even using the baseboard heat… but that’s what you sign up for with a cabin! Overall great stay. Had everything we needed and was clean.

Cabin was great! If you want quiet time-it’s where you want to be. The fees air bnb charges are too high though. It’s the last time sill be using this service. $200 in fees is insane. Great Cabin, great host but the fee’s are insane

Pretty views, mostly secluded and charming decor. Limited kitchen items, cold inside despite heat being on, noticeable needed areas of repair and intrusive neighbor.

We had a wonderful stay. We brought our two pups along. The place is private. All amenities as described and working appropriately. Everything you need provided in the home. Home is clean and quiet surrounded by nature. My husband and I needed a getaway alone and this was perfect!

Had an amazing relaxing stay here! The nature and sounds were so beautiful, we enjoyed the hot tub and cooked on the grill and spent most of our time rocking on the porch!!

The place was as expected. Good location, clean, nice shower pressure. We enjoyed the net hammock out back. We only stayed a night and didn’t have time for the hot tub, but should we have had a longer visit that would have been nice to use I’m sure. There are games, but only ones suited for 2 players (we were a family of 3), we did however appreciate the deck of cards. We’d stay again.

Positive: The cabin had been modernized but did not take out the flare of a rustic cabin. Everything was done very well all the accoutrements or so well described and done. We particularly enjoyed the scenery and the hot tub surrounded by Woods . The owner or management of the property checked in with us to see how things were working for us. The only thing we were a bit surprised were the big ruts for the last 500 ft in the Logging Road up to the cabin. But we went slow and our car managed without any problem. We absolutely are planning on trying to get it this cabin again this fall for a few days of a getaway for us. Negative: It was done superbly from the well stock kitchen utensils to the very nice robes and towels for the use of the hot tub

Just had a wonderful time! This a modernized cabin experience is tucked away in the woods but still minutes drive to downtown Berkeley Springs activities and attractions. Tony delivered first class service leading up to the reservation through solid communication. An electronic guide to the house was provided which made for easy and quick reference during our stay. The amenities are as described and made for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Great place to stay would definitely go back. Easy to get to and from downtown Berkeley Springs. We tooked advantage of the outdoors loved hanging out on the front porch, making fires in the fire pit and of course relaxing in hot tub. Host was very communicative and available if needed.

Absolutely loved this cabin enjoyed the scenery very much. Felt relaxed definitely a place we would love to revisit. The host is great. Well communication and quick to respond to any questions or concerns.

The space is beautiful and secluded while still being 4-10 minutes from everything. We loved the layout of the grounds. It felt like everything flowed and was well thought out. Loved waking up to coffee and a sunrise. The only bad part about the trip was we didn’t stay longer!

Tony’s place was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend to unwind! Even with some rain in the forecast, we took full advantage of the hot tub and cozying up inside. Location is convenient to the local grocery store for any last minute items you forgot. Tony also took the time to check in with up, provide any updates needed and to ensure we had everything we needed. 10/10 recommend!

Quiet, well equipped cabin. Not fully remote as there is a house very nearby (~100’ away). We saw deer and bunnies on the property and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit (bring your own wood). The cabin is in a great location with only a short drive into town. Would consider staying here again.

This is my first negative review on AirBnB. I do not like to write bad reviews but feel this highly rated listing needs some alternative perspectives on what you’ll find at this rental. House is not private. There is a creepy house next door which looks directly into the back of the house (no shades on kitchen windows.) Speaking of shades, the shades that they purchased are 100% USELESS. I came back to the house at night the first night and realized that even though all the shades were down, you can see perfectly into the house. Cheap roller shades- zero privacy. Not cool. The wood stove was a real drawl for staying here. Cozy cabin in WV mountains with a fireplace sounded great. Well this wood stove was installed with 3 90 degree elbows which means more smoke comes into the house than through the stove pipe. Lighting a fire will make you need to open all the windows and get out of the house. This rental is not a relaxing private cabin in the woods. Not sure who’s giving 5 stars

Very relaxing cabin. Absolutely loved it

Despite living in a beautiful country setting ourselves, my husband and I decided to take a trip to WV to get more familiar with Berkeley Springs. We were looking for a place with charm and outdoor space for our husky. Tony’s cottage listing was definitely a eye catcher and we decided to book it. The interior is charming and clean. However, the kitchen could use better pots that are not scratched to death. As some other reviewer also mentioned, there were no wine glasses. More concerning, there were mold stains on the bathroom ceiling above the shower and thus we avoided causing additional moisture by taking a shower or running the jacuzzi. Our biggest issue/concern was the neighbor’s house about 100ft away behind the cottage that had trash and clutter everywhere with someone(s) living there. It had a direct view of the cottage’s hot tub area. Being worried about our privacy, we did not use the hot tub either. Although the cabin is unique, we cannot recommend it to others.

We were looking for a cozy place to have a peaceful weekend. This place fit the bill! The hot tub was great and the wood stove was a nice touch (bring your own wood). A great place for a weekend getaway!

If you love being surrounded by the peace and beauty of nature and want proximity to activities in Cacapon State Park and Berkeley Springs, this cabin is the place for you! It’s very close to all the local points of interest, but also cozy enough to enjoy on its own. We appreciated the host’s responsiveness and help when we had questions, and enjoyed everything about our stay.

The worst cabin I have ever stayed in! Beds were bad!! I paid 380$ but I wouldn’t stay there for Free it was a bad experience!! Thanks anyway

This cabin is cozy and the outdoor options on the property are great – an outdoor hot tub, fire pit, lights, and privacy. It’s a great romantic getaway. Tony & team were very responsive and friendly. The home could use a few more personal touches – the lighting isn’t great, there were no wine glasses, and the home itself has the feel of a company owning and running it vs. an individual. The price was also very high.

We loved the cabin and had an amazing stay. It was just as pictured. Very clean and updated. So if you are looking for a rustic feel but modern interior this is for you. We made use of both the wood burning stove and outdoor fire pit. Remember to bring some firewood and kindling with you if you will be using those! Plenty of towels and soap provided. Grocery shopping was within 5 minutes. My only suggestion would be additional seating in the living area. It was just two of us so it was fine. It has a couch that seats two and a chair, so if you had more people in your party then you would need to use seating in the kitchen area. Close to restaurants and Cacapon Resort State Park. It was a lovely and relaxing stay for the two of us and our pup!

This cabin was amazing! It was very cozy and clean inside, it was secluded but not TOO secluded, there’s a neighborhood near by and there’s even a house next to it but that was no problem for us. The hot tub was one of our favorite parts, so relaxing and easy to use, and the hanging lights above it were perfect for using it at night time. The hanging lights by the fire pit and the front of the house were out so those areas were pretty dark in the evening but Tony is an amazing host and was very reassuring that that would be fixed asap. One important thing to mention is beware of the path/road leading up to the cabin. It’s very steep and bumpy, if you have an suv or truck you’ll make it up very easy but I have a Honda Civic which is a really low to the ground car so it was a struggle getting up the hill especially because it was rainy and slippery BUT we made it and it was SO worth it because the whole stay was amazing and well worth the price.

Lovely cabin, perfectly equipped for a break away from everyday life. We loved the hot tub and got out for some great hiking each day – we had Cacapon and Golden Ridge State Forest almost to ourselves! There was an issue with the tub but Tony had it fixed extremely quickly. This is a well looked after property with a great host.

If you’re looking for a secluded getaway surrounded by nature but close enough to just about anything you’d need, this sweet cabin is it. Rustic charm melded with modern, thoughtful amenities with loads of special touches like; snacks, drip coffee, fluffy robes, a big selection of board games, and even a romantic outdooe nook for dinning. Tony was an outstanding host, always accessible with great recommendations. Berkeley Springs was a lovely surprise with quirky and quaint shops, historical attractions, great hiking, a cat cafe, and amazing vegetarian and vegan dining options. Tips: Bring along a lighter, wood and kindling for the wood stove and fire pit. It did get a little chilly (not uncomfortable though) and we wished we’d brought along extra layers. There is a small stretch of unpaved, steep driveway that may be harder for some vehicles to navigate. I highly recommend tea from the Apothecary in town.

My husband and I stayed for our 2 year wedding anniversary and it was very peaceful! Beautiful log cabin! We were able to cook and enjoy the fire pit in the evening. Our little service dog enjoyed his time too! Tony was very responsive and a great host.

Such a cozy little cabin! In a very private area but close to your basic needs. We ate the canary grill down the road for both lunch and dinner and it made it easier on us. Cabin was very clean & taken care of. State park is down the road and absolutely gorgeous during fall! Only thing I will say is that I didn’t know how steep the driveway was getting up to it. I must have missed that in the guide but I had a 2wd truck and it made it this time but would definitely be slick come colder months or alot of rain. Other than that I love ld the place & will definitely add it to my list for a getaway spot!

I have stayed at several of Tony’s places (picked them randomly) and they are always exactly how they are described. Tony’s cabins are always beautiful, clean and exactly how the house is described. If you want a quite getaway that’s not far removed from shops and restaurants then book your stay here. The hot tub was perfect for fall leaf enjoying!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay for my birthday trip to Berkeley Springs. It was so cute, very close to town but still felt isolated, the perfect mountain getaway where we could enjoy the cabin experience without roughing it one bit. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the fire pit. The beds were very comfortable! I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is exactly as pictured! Private, but a close drive to town and Cacapon State Park. The final road/street is dirt and gravel, so I’d be hesitant to stay if it’s snowy, but a lovely getaway cabin for relaxation.

I can only echo what previous reviewers have said – this is a truly excellent cabin, very peaceful and scenic location, fantastic amenities (hot tub, firepit, BBQ, etc.) and overall very relaxing. Highly, highly recommended.
