Small cute cabin , the jacuzzi alone made the stay worth it . There isn’t a whole lot to do in the area but the vineyards were amazing . The heat worked amazing we had to crack the bed room window a few times because it was working overtime. Tony was very responsive and would reply within minutes. I have a Honda accord and did not have a hard time getting to the house and we arrived at night, granted we did not have any bad weather while we were there . Overall it was a great stay and very comfortable . I would love to come back in the summer or fall to see the area when all the leaves are still around . Thanks Tony for loaning us your home.

Small cute cabin , the jacuzzi alone made the stay worth it . There isn’t a whole lot to do in the area but the vineyards were amazing . The heat worked amazing we had to crack the bed room window a few times because it was working overtime. Tony was very responsive and would reply within minutes. I have a Honda accord and did not have a hard time getting to the house and we arrived at night, granted we did not have any bad weather while we were there . Overall it was a great stay and very comfortable . I would love to come back in the summer or fall to see the area when all the leaves are still around . Thanks Tony for loaning us your home.

We had a great weekend away at the cabin. The check-in was simple, and the house matched the description and pictures. We loved the hot tub, and spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the surroundings!

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin very much! Private, quiet, and peaceful, which is exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of hiking in the park. As other reviews have stated, the roads getting to the cabin are narrower and a little rough but we had no problem driving them in our compact SUV, we enjoyed it.
The cabin was pretty clean when we arrived but it could use a deeper clean between guests. The main thing that stood out was the shower rug was not clean/washed. Unfortunately, some of the dishes we did take out to use had to be clean prior to using them. However, that is the previous guest’s responsibility, which is stated in the manual. Overall, Tony was very responsive and a great host! He answered all of our questions. Would recommend to anyone, especially couples wanting a little getaway!

We loved staying at this cabin! The location feels peaceful and private. It was perfect to unwind and relax from the stressful lifestyle we have. The house is exactly as pictures and described. The internet was a bit spotty on the first night, but we rated this a 5-stars regardless, because there’s more to attend to than watching the best streaming movie. The hot tub, the fireplace, everything was great! Thanks Tony and Blue Maple team.

Our stay at Tony’s cabin was absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, Tony was incredibly attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and had all the comforts of home….truly the perfect place to unwind. The hot tub was a highlight of our trip…I spent a large part of my time soaking in it, and it made our stay feel like a true retreat. The location of the cabin couldn’t have been better either; tucked away in a peaceful, secluded spot, it gave us exactly the rest and relaxation we were looking for while still being close enough to town and nearby attractions.
For anyone considering a visit, I’d recommend having a vehicle with a bit of clearance, as the road up to the property has a few dips that might be tricky for low-sitting cars. But once you arrive, you’ll see it’s absolutely worth it! If you’re on the fence about booking….don’t hesitate. Tony is a fantastic host!

The stay was amazing the area was extremely peaceful and secluded. The hot tub felt amazing after the long days out and about. I will offer a word of caution on the roads up to and down from the cabin.. they are very narrow roads with sudden drop offs directly against the side of the road in areas. Take your time and be cautious in the curves. Overall i loved the stay here and was able to enjoy some wildlife and beautiful night skies. I would definitely come back again just for the peace and tranquility.

It’s a beautiful private cabin and very homey. Very off the beaten path but that’s exactly what we wanted and the drive getting up to the cabin was stunning! Highly suggest for a couple or a small family get away!!

Tony was an amazing and very responsive host! Everything about the property was exactly as described and we were very pleased. The location was definitely out there, and we were warned that an SUV was needed to access the property and that was very correct. We genuinely enjoyed the place and the hot tub was wonderful too!

My partner and I had a last minute change of plans that led us to visiting the Shenandoah Region. The cabin was absolutely perfect and Tony was always so friendly and responsive! We had a great stay, 100/10! ⭐️

Tony’s place was great. My fiancé and I really enjoyed our few days with our dog in the woods. If you want to get away and really unplug this is it. Secluded, private, and relaxing. We didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else to get in a great hike. We just hoofed it through the woods. The. Fire pit was excellent. Jacuzzi, was awesome. Like charcoal grills he’s got one. Don’t know how to use that? There’s a gas grill. Plenty of pots and pans for those who forgot to pack some.
Cave ridge winery 25 minutes away was awesome. Luray caverns not far. Also recommend Rt11 diner on the way back.
Those who suggest driving a 4×4 or an suv, I disagree. Definitely made it in my fiancés Honda accord.
Overall, I would definitely return, with friends, for a longer stay.

Tony was a wonderful host. He greeted me via text communication when I arrived. He checked in with me after my first night and made sure that I didn’t have any concerns. If I had any questions he responded to me very quickly. The cabin was beautiful, remote and very clean. It is in a small town that didn’t have a lot to do, but I was there to unwind, enjoy nature and just get away from the every day stresses of life. I definitely recommend staying there.

Incredibly hot in the summer, portable ACs still only brought the inside temp to around 80F. Host is very responsive and respectful. Make sure your car has 4 wheel drive—steep gravel hill and country roads for at least 10 mins before you get there.

My husband, my two young daughters, and myself enjoyed every second of our stay. It’s a very peaceful private environment and the house was even equity with kids coloring books that kept my daughter very entertained. My husband and I enjoyed spending mornings and evenings in the jacuzzi while looking into the trees and listening to the birds. It was also raining and so cozy and fun.

This cabin is great. The setting is exactly what you’d want for some peaceful recharging. Nicely secluded. The decor is cozy but uncluttered. Great amenities in the outdoor space. The deck is beautiful for relaxing and observing nature. Plenty of squirrels, birds, deer and a groundhog to watch. The inside is made comfortable with A/C units and ceiling fans. Media TV is nice for some shows in the evening with windows open for the sounds of nature! Plenty of accessories available in the kitchen to make meals. Would totally stay again.
The unpaved roads leading to the cabin are definitely to be considered. I have an SUV and it wasn’t an issue driving slowly, even with a lot of the roads quite washed out from excessive rainstorms. But I would be hesitant if you have a sedan with lower ground clearance.

Cozy and comfortable little spot. We felt right at home, including my dog. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The road up to the house is long and adds about 20minute to any travel time, but there’s lots of great stuff to do around the area.

The house is a good spot for a weekend getaway if you are looking for something peaceful and remote to connect with yourself or spend it with family. there is a lot of outdoors activities to do near by like exploring Seneca Park, the town nearby, Bryce resort, and a vía ferrata nearby with Nrocks.
What I love the most about the house was the smart living fire logs(easy to use with no mess), the hot tub, and the living room

We had a great stay here. It was nice to be able to bring the dog and unwind.
Something we wish we had known was exactly how remote the drive felt with narrow dirt roads for a couple of miles in order to reach the cabin. Good to have AWD!
The cabin was cozy, the bed comfortable! We enjoyed the hot tub on the cool evenings (but certainly glad we packed our own towels for this as none were provided). The fire pit was also lovely and spent time just relaxing as the sun set.
There are some nearby wineries, breweries, etc. We did some nearby hikes as well which were beautiful with fall foliage.
The cabin itself could have been a little cleaner, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. We did have to clean a lot of dishes prior to using them (not the owners fault as it is in guest instructions to clean dishes prior to leaving).
Overall I would highly recommend this spot for some true downtown in nature.

Tony’s place is a wonderful secluded mountain getaway! We really enjoyed mornings and evenings in the hottub. The main bedrooms mattress is super comfortable & the bonfire pit was a wonderful addition. Really loved the cozy atmosphere.

This was a cute cabin that was exactly as stated in the description. I would advise bringing a SUV or Hybrid as much of the road to the cabin was unpaved and parts were steep. We were driving a Chevy Malibu and would not have been able to make it to the cabin if there was snow. That being said, the cabin was clean and comfortable. You can see two other cabins, so it is not completely secluded, but the porch faces away from those locations, so you cannot see them while grilling or in the hot tub. We saw several deer each morning and also heard turkeys. It was very peaceful. Host was very friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was very nice with all amenities of home except a washer&dryer. The location was beautiful in a secluded wooded area
Negative:
The property was in need of a exterminator. There was a stink bug infestation in the cabin. When we first arrived the cleaning women gave us a set of keys and said the cabin was open. Unknowing to us the keys were incorrect. We contacted the agent and notified them of the problem. We were told that they would get back to us in 45 minutes to resolve the issue. That never happened, we waited all day.and wasted a day of our vacation. The next morning we decided to leave a day early. As we were leaving Corine(house keeper) showed up and gave us no explanation to why no one contacted us to resolve the key issue.

This cabin was secluded and so peaceful. It had everything you need for a quiet get away. Tony was very responsive and everything was laid out very clearly in the house guide. I wish we could have stayed and enjoyed the cabin longer, but we had lots of activities taking up the majority of our days. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax in the evenings and the view of the stars was incredible. Would highly recommend staying here.

Everything About The Stay Was Amazing , the Place was So Clean and Beautiful. Everything worked In the Cabin great , Wi-Fi was Awesome the Grill and Hot Tub Were Even Better lol . The Only Issue Was I Couldn’t figure Out How to turn On the Shower Head But Tony Was There To Help so It All Worked Out . If You are Looking for Something Peaceful and Relaxing This is the place to Go Just Be Really Mindful Of The bugs They are not Regular size they are Big lol And If your Anything Like me I Know you Appreciate That Info . Amazing location! We went to Lurray Caverns and had a great time. The cabin was clean when we arrived but quickly became infested with hundreds of bugs. We still had a great stay but could have gone without bugs crawling on my bed!

The overall space was very nice. Our shower was broken and was unable to be resolved. Besides this, it looked like the unit was cleaned a week or two previously, and then sat until our arrival. All other amenities worked as intended. Hosts were very responsive.

Had a great stay for a short weekend

Despite texting a few days prior with a headcount, we only had 1 bath towel for multiple adults. The bedding in the 2 large beds had clearly not been washed. There was visible and easily removable human and dog hair. The bed is listed as a king size-it's not. The back door only had a short bar to prop into the track, but didn't lock. The bedroom window didn't have a lock on it at all. The trash can was overflowing when we arrived and was never emptied, so we kept having to just throw more trash on the pile near the front door. The front burner on the stove doesn't work. Had not been cleaned thoroughly- lots of hair balls around, paper towels under sofas and beds, and dog food spread around. You absolutely need something other than a car to reliably get there. It's back several miles of gravel road, across a small stream and a couple pretty steep hills. SUV for sure.
The good: the kitchen is decently equipped, very quiet, good hot tub, pretty scenery, lots of outdoor space

Unfortunately the house was very dirty and there were stains and dog hair on the sheets. The sliding glass door doesn’t lock and instead has a bar to stop it from opening halfway. There were dead bugs everywhere including on light fixtures. And the bed was advertised as a king size but it was probably a queen. We expressed our concerns and Tony responded that he would deal with it but then we never heard back from him. I even checked in with him and still no response. I don’t feel like we got what we paid for. The house is quaint and secluded with a few neighbors but, unfortunately we were not thrilled with our stay. It needs a thorough cleaning and the description needs to be updated to accurately reflect what’s included in the home, like the bed size.

The cabin itself could have been a little cleaner, but it wasn't that big of a deal. We did have to clean a lot of dishes prior to using them (not the owners fault as it is in guest instructions to clean dishes prior to leaving).
Overall I would highly recommend this spot for some true downtown in nature.

Tony’s place is a wonderful secluded mountain getaway! We really enjoyed mornings and evenings in the hottub. The main bedrooms mattress is super comfortable & the bonfire pit was a wonderful addition. Really loved the cozy atmosphere.

This was a cute cabin that was exactly as stated in the description. I would advise bringing a SUV or Hybrid as much of the road to the cabin was unpaved and parts were steep. We were driving a Chevy Malibu and would not have been able to make it to the cabin if there was snow. That being said, the cabin was clean and comfortable. You can see two other cabins, so it is not completely secluded, but the porch faces away from those locations, so you cannot see them while grilling or in the hot tub. We saw several deer each morning and also heard turkeys. It was very peaceful. Host was very friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Only left two towels for three guests-had to go purchase additional towels!
Attempted to follow all directions in the handbook-no trash receptacles where they were suppose to be!
We were given the incorrect code to get into the cabin! Tony did respond with the correct code but we lost about an hour trying to get in!

Positive:
The cabin was very nice with all amenities of home except a washer&dryer. The location was beautiful in a secluded wooded area
Negative:
The property was in need of a exterminator. There was a stink bug infestation in the cabin. When we first arrived the cleaning women gave us a set of keys and said the cabin was open. Unknowing to us the keys were incorrect. We contacted the agent and notified them of the problem. We were told that they would get back to us in 45 minutes to resolve the issue. That never happened, we waited all day.and wasted a day of our vacation. The next morning we decided to leave a day early. As we were leaving Corine(house keeper) showed up and gave us no explanation to why no one contacted us to resolve the key issue.

This was a wonderful stay. We were looking for a cozy place a bit remote and quiet, and this is exactly what we found here. This is certainly a cabin in the hills of Virginia!

So cozy, beautiful private mountain side hot tub fire pit huge deck fireplace our dog felt so at home we felt peaceful and relaxed and Tony exceeded our expectations as a Host!

This cabin was secluded and so peaceful. It had everything you need for a quiet get away. Tony was very responsive and everything was laid out very clearly in the house guide. I wish we could have stayed and enjoyed the cabin longer, but we had lots of activities taking up the majority of our days. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax in the evenings and the view of the stars was incredible. Would highly recommend staying here.

Everything About The Stay Was Amazing , the Place was So Clean and Beautiful. Everything worked In the Cabin great , Wi-Fi was Awesome the Grill and Hot Tub Were Even Better lol . The Only Issue Was I Couldn’t figure Out How to turn On the Shower Head But Tony Was There To Help so It All Worked Out . If You are Looking for Something Peaceful and Relaxing This is the place to Go Just Be Really Mindful Of The bugs They are not Regular size they are Big lol And If your Anything Like me I Know you Appreciate That Info . Cabin was very cozy. Hot tube was wonderful. Only complaint was the drive to the cabin. Long drive on a one lane gravel road. Other than the location, our trip was wonderful.

Beautiful location and a great place for a family quiet getaway. The area is amazing, there is a ton of things to do. The cabin was a perfect place to relax at night after a day of exploring the park, wineries and caverns.
