Loved staying here for a. night. We enjoyed the peaceful area and a night in the hot tub on the deck. It was a great getaway from the hustle and bustle. Loved going to the brewery and bbq place up the road.

This was a great stay! The hot tub was great and the cabin was very roomy. The community pool was gorgeous and the kitchen utensils were so handle when making dinner for the family.

Tony’s place was just what we needed as two teachers. It was a place for us to truly relax and put no expectations on us. I truly think this was my most recharging vacation trip ever. It was so nice to just allow myself to do whatever felt right, if I wanted to nap, I would, just sit in the hot tub and read a book, stay up late and watch movies, order food. This was a birthday treat for myself and it was such a great one! The one and only thing that wasn’t our favorite is the washer that was broken, we read that it was, but there was no note on the machine to make clear it was inactive, so I think putting a note somewhen on the washer was needed so others will not think its operable. Other than that one thing we had such a great trip! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! Big hugs Layla, Marvin, & Nala!

Beautiful cabin in the wood. So glad we picked this stay for our halfway point for our family trip. Great hot tub, nice rooms, items for cooking/grilling. The nature and the woods are beautiful and such a peaceful retreat! Only issue was all water shut off and hour before leaving making it hard to finish up dishes, brush teeth, flush toilets. However, when we reached out to our host, they were understanding about some of the unfinished clean up and apologetic for the issue. All in all would 100% stay again!

A perfect place to relax on the expansive, private, and shaded deck after a day of hiking at surrounding C&O Canal Towpath access points. The inside was comfortable and had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Tony!

Great place, great location, very clean and well maintained. Exactly what I expected. Be sure to inquire about check in and check out times before you pay, as we were told we could pay extra for late check out once we booked, as well as other more common and obvious rules.

Positive: Well stocked. Gorgeous view perfect for relaxing on a weekend trip. The host is super responsive and friendly. Negative: Nothing much. But I wish the deck was a little more cleaned. Also beds make noise which becomes little annoying at times.

What a peaceful and relaxing weekend! My favorite part of this stay was the porch and little creek that you can hear from the deck. The fireplace was warm and inviting. The hot tub was wonderful, and we didn’t see another person the whole time. Great to just unplug and get away! We made a few meals and found everything we needed – including a cheese grater and full size cutting board. Coffee was hot, and we were happy with the accommodations. If you have dog allergies- this may not be the place for you because dogs are evident here. Otherwise it was a nice, peaceful cabin in the woods- exactly as described. The owner was extremely responsive and responsive!

We loved the hot tub and seeing the beautiful night sky. Took a couple of nice walks right out the front door. The wifi worked well and there was space for the 3 of us to spread out and work.

It was still convenient to the downtown Berkeley Springs area within a short drive where there are lots of great options for things to do. We would definitely come back!

Positive: One floor cabin, hot tub, nice sized rooms Negative: Replace the tiny fireplace. Several kitchen chairs were wobbly with the screws that need tightened – one actually fell out while my husband was on it! Dishwasher didn't clean well and was difficult to operate. One shower door was not attached at the bottom. The cabin sleeps 6 but didn't have adequate silverware for that number (only 5 knives, etc).

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The location is so peaceful and private, but only about a 10 minute drive into the town. Tony was very responsive & kind, and quickly remedied any small issue or question we had. Overall it was the perfect relaxing getaway.

Enjoyed the Fall foliage and being tucked away in the woods. A little bit dated, but still charming overall.

Tony was the perfect example of a ‘Superhost’. He was very communicative the whole way through! From the initial booking up until checking out, response time is within 5-10 minutes. He left detailed instructions explaining anything you would need to know for the house as well as suggestions for different businesses in town and local nature sights. This cabin was the picture of serenity. Hot tub under the stars, a powerful wood burning stove if you wanted to heat up by the fire, and incredibly comfortable and peaceful. Morning coffee on the balcony is a must! Not to mention the amazing parks and overlooks nearby. The natural spring water is a game changer! Looking forward to booking more time here again. This was the perfect getaway with some amazing hosts!

Our visit was just an overnight- I wish we could’ve stayed longer. It was very clean inside and had a nice hot tub that was a hit for my husband and son, who were biking the C&O Canal trail.

This was my first experience staying in a cabin and I loved it! It’s surrounded by trees and a whole lot of quiet, with neighboring cabins far away enough that you have privacy. The 3-bedroom home is spacious, and we loved that there was a washer and dryer to dry our swimsuits overnight. Overall, the ambience was so calming that all I wanted to do was sleep!

This cabin was beautiful, clean and peaceful. It’s not too far from the town of Berkeley springs where there’s plenty to do and it’s a walkable town. This place is part of a cabin community but the cabins are spaced pretty far apart so it’s pretty private. There’s a pool in the community and it’s very nice. Definitely a good bang for the buck with this place, highly recommend.

Beautiful location and a great area to just get away.

We had a comfortable stay at Tony’s he was communicative. We spent most of our time on the deck and hot tub, which was the only highlight of our stay, though we were very disappointed because the Pool passes were not in the cabin, the main reason we booked this place, and there couldn’t be arranged during the entire stay of 5 nights, so we had to find things to do elsewhere than spending time at the pool which we were aiming for. Tony was very responsive, though, and apologetic for this inconvenience. We wished that there were some backup passes in the house or an arrangement with the pool staff that guests could use in such situations. Tony refunded us $150 for our booking (about 7% ) of the cabin cost we paid. It Is a good place to relax for a small group if you just want to hang out at the cabin. The place felt a bit smaller than it looked in the photos, and the kitchen was not well-equipped such as cutting boards. The bathroom door didn’t lock. The house was clean and cozy.

The cabin was just what we needed to take our minds off otherwise busy lives. So relaxing. Convenient to trails, lookouts, history, restaurants, grocery, thrift shops.

Our family stayed for 3 nights and it was really nice. Super quiet, you get to just enjoy and be in nature and see deers and beautiful birds. We had a really relaxing time which is what we were looking for. The town where you can get groceries is not too far but it’s definitely a fairly small town. Tony was super responsive and helpful. We would definitely come back if we ever are in the area again.

Perfect place for some rest and relaxation. Went for a “mom’s” hiking trip and some quality time with friends, and had an absolute blast. The cabin is clean, comfortable, set in beautiful surroundings, and is perfectly located, only a short drive from lots of local, fun things to do. Tony was accesible, communicative, and provided a helpful house manual pdf which was super easy to dip into when I needed any additional info. My friends and I had a wonderful trip, and think we found a gem of a place that we’d love to return to.

Tony’s place was lots of fun and offered plenty of room in a beautiful tree lined setting. Tony was proactive and went out of his way to reach out to make sure that we had everything we needed.

Positive: it was adorable! it was just what we needed to relax a few days. Negative: we loved everything! only thing I would suggest is maybe get one king size bed for one of the rooms. my husband is super tall and a queen size bed is just too small for us since he had to sleep kinda crooked to fit on the bed so we ended up sleeping separately so he didn’t have to lay his legs on me lol

Our stay here was incredible. It was the perfect peaceful little getaway tucked in the mountains. It was honestly better than excepted, tony was an amazing host.

A very well appointed cabin in a beautiful area. Close enough to town and nearby attractions (such as the good restaurants, antiquing, bathhouses and Cacapon) that it was an easy drive, but also far enough to enjoy some seclusion and quiet. The space is so lovely that you really don’t have to leave to have a great time. Love that there were coloring books for all ages! We enjoyed the hot tub, cooked breakfast and dinner, and enjoyed the TV and watched our favorite shows. At the same time, we enjoyed the surrounds and particularly enjoyed our hike in Cacapon and our baths in Berkeley Springs. Tony was a knowledgeable and conscientious host. What a great getaway for our anniversary!

The cabin was very clean, easy to find, and comfortable enough for our stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and proximity to Berkley Springs. The kitchen is stocked with just the basics, so if you plan on cooking extravagant meals you should bring your own appliances or specialty utensils. For a group of 6, I wish the living room offered some more seating, but it would be comfortable for 3-4 people. The beds and linens were very clean and comfortable.

We had a great two-night stay at Tony’s place. The community is nice to walk around, quiet & filled with trees, and a perfect distance to Berkeley Springs and the nearby state park.

Tony’s place was located on a beautiful mountain both close and far from everything. It was remote enough that the only thing you heard was woodland creatures and quiet, but close enough that going into town for dinner took less than 15 minutes. The host was incredibly responsive, quick with information, and exceptionally friendly. I cannot overstate how amazing the deck was, the pictures don’t do it justice. We probably spent half our time out there and had the weather been a touch warmer, all of it in the hot tub. The beds were incredibly comfortable and with a Nest thermostat we were able to keep the space at a perfect temperature. The kitchen was well equipped and we didn’t have to stress morning coffee because the supplies were available when we arrived. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

My partner and I have traveled through Berkeley Springs, WV on several occasions but decided to spend the weekend this time and had a wonderful stay at Tony’s cabin in the woods. The location was beautiful and private and the house was exactly as described. There are great little shops in the downtown area and beautiful views and great trails at the Cacapon State Park. Tony made great recommendations for both food and local activities. We will definitely be back to enjoy the summer views!! Tony was very proactive and responsive with both booking, checking in and follow up to make sure we were having a good stay. We highly recommend Tony as a host!!

We enjoyed our stay at Tony’s cabin. The hot tub & fireplace were our favorites. It was the perfect getaway for a peaceful weekend.

Great cabin. It was well below freezing temps outside the heat worked well, some rooms were hotter and some were colder, but I think if we had used the wood stove it might have balanced out the heat. It was furnished very nicely and dog friendly. It was clean, the hot tub was great. Tony was very responsive. We would stay again!

Tony was a great host. He offered recommendations for hiking trails and was available to answer any questions. The place was also great! It has a nice cabin in the woods vibe, but it is much cleaner and more comfortable than your typical cabin. We enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub at night. It is also pet friendly, which was a must for us. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Positive: This is a very nice and comfortable vacation house located in a beautiful wooded area. Beds are very comfortable, Jacuzzi is great. Really fun! Negative: The only downside is the way this house is priced in booking. We saw this beautiful house published for 68$ per night and said WOW but with all the fees the actual price is 187$ which is still reasonable but it does leave you with a sour taste. I think at least the 85$ cleaning fee should be included in the advertised price

We had a quick overnight stay at Tony’s but everything was great. The house was really nice and bed was super comfortable. I wish I had more time to spend there and use the hot tub!

We loved our time in the spacious Aspen home in the beautiful woods. It was like being in a treehouse with super comfy beds and pillows, Wi-Fi, hot tub with colors lights, and all comforts of home. Great host!

I’ll must say, Tony is a great host. Always available and welcoming. The place was not as clean as expected, (this was a cleaningsl crew miss) it needs some retouching and painting, and some doors had punch-holes on them, but it was not a deal breaker. The pictures do look like they were taken when the place was just recently renovated, but still, very accurate. Hottub was cleaned and fully functional as well as all the appliances. Tony’s attention made up for the little things we noticed or we didn’t like, and he made sure we were comfortable by providing assistance at any given time (great communication). However, the atmosphere and are was delightful and enjoyable. would definitely repeat!!!! Thanks Tony!

This place was perfect for a piece of our family vacation – clean, cozy cabin with a hot tub and accessible indoor and outdoor community pools. Two state parks, a cute downtown and beach all within 15 minutes. Lots of history too. Tony was very responsive and all instructions easy to follow. Would love to come again!

Very nice place to stay. We especially liked having access to the tennis courts, basketball goal, and pool. Just ten minutes from Cacapon State Park, so good location for hiking. Tony is excellent at staying in touch and making sure things go smoothly.

Enjoyed the woods, trails, being close to Berkeley Springs for ventures into town. Decent beds. Good A/C with vents from the floor. The two piece bathroom is attached to one bedroom, the full bath in the hall. Don’t expect shareable items that can’t be cleaned such as card games, extra throw/ blanket or coffee. Plenty of packets of creamer and coffee filters. Close by Food Lion, and bring small portions of spices from home if planning to cook. Checking out their weekly ad helped with planning. Also the nicer restaurants in town really require dinner reservations. We enjoyed the Old Roman Baths in town, can be reserved ahead. Overall relaxing time in this cabin at Coolfont Resort.

Tony’s place was great! Exactly fit the description. Location was a quiet retreat, just what we wanted. Communication was fast and clear. Would recommend!

Tony (owner) is super responsive. He has the airbnb stocked with all the household necessities you need including toiletries. The beds are super comfortable with soft sheets. The towels were also nice and soft. The house comes with a grill and Tony supplied two propane tanks for it. The grill sits on the wrap around deck which we enjoyed for morning coffee and evening cocktails. The house can use some TLC and it would nice if there were some throw blankets available and tongs for the grill. The pool area is small and there were maybe 10 lounge chairs for guests. This no fault of Tony’s but an observation. And don’t be like me and keep the pool pass! (Tony was very understanding about this!) The house is very close to the brewery (less than a mile) and it is lovely. The brewery has excellent snacks and beer. The town of Berkeley Springs is quaint with unique stores. I highly recommend dinner at Lot 12 and the Farmers Market on Sunday.

Perfect location to explore Berkeley Springs. This cabin is surrounded on all sides by trees and is located in a quiet and peaceful private community. It’s an older home but has everything you would need for a getaway. We enjoyed. Only downside was we couldn’t get Netflix to work as the owner wasn’t able to provide the Roku code, but this was minor. Instructions for finding and accessing the home were very clear, and we appreciate the fact we were able to book a same day stay. Definitely recommend if in the area.

Tony was a FANTASTIC host! He was attentive, patient, and very informative! The home was exactly what we expected and was comfortable for myself and my guests. I STRONGLY suggest using the Waze navigation app to locate the property as T-mobile service was not reliable out there. Although, there is a food lion ten minutes away from the property, I would suggest you purchase all groceries and basic necessities ahead of your arrival. The only con I could think of was the surrounding area. In my opinion, It was not BIPOC friendly and felt a bit intimidating but, nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay!

Positive: The host “Tony” was EXCEPTIONALLY ATTENTIVE! The value of the rental was VERY reasonable. In every way it exceeded our expectations Negative: There was NOTHING that we “didn’t like”.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. We liked the cabin and the location. It is close to many places worth visiting. One being Cacapon State Park for hiking and dining . Tony was very prompt in answering any question that I had. Highly recommend it.

For the price, no complaints. 10 minutes to Cacapon State Park which has it all- beautiful hiking, kids activities, golf, spa, restaurants, and more. We went with our 2 year old and he loved it- kid friendly space. A great woodsy getaway. Pros: Tony and the local team are really responsive. Great location. Awesome deck. Pet friendly. Good indoor/outdoor space. Cons: No fires allowed. Uncomfortable pillows (in our opinion).
