I enjoyed my stay at this cabin in Berkeley Springs. The location is great—close to town and easy to find. Tony was very responsive, and all the amenities worked well, including plenty of dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, and cleaning supplies. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The living areas were overall pretty clean. However, the pots and pans were scratched, and most didn’t have lids, except for the largest pot. If you cook frequently or plan to stay for a while, I recommend bringing your own pots and pans.

This was a wonderful stay. The property is in a peaceful and beautiful forest setting, yet it’s only minutes drive to downtown. Kitchen is fully stocked. The whole place is clean and homey. Host was very friendly and communicative. The house was warm as we entered, and the hot tub was ready. Very comfortable beds and soft sheets. We had a great time.

Tony’s place is very close to the heart of Berkeley Springs. It’s roomy and had everything we needed as a family of 4. Tony was very proactive with his communication and the house manual gave us all of the info we needed to figure out how everything worked. We’ll definitely stay again if the need arises.

This is a nice place for a family. It is close to the town of Berkley Springs, which was important for us. The snow created a problem for my car and we had great difficulty getting to the cabin and could not use the driveway due to the ice and snow. We kept the car at the top of the hill and never were able to access the driveway – which was not cleaned during our stay. The cabin is very nice and allowed us to cook and enjoy a nice home environment. There are no TVs in the bedroom but the main TV was good. The dining area is very nice and adds to the space to enjoy the woods. There is an early check out at 10 am and you cannot check in until 4 pm — if you want to add an hour or so either way, you have to pay for that change.

I was only there for work so I didn’t get to take full advantage of the huge front porch, the hot tub, etc but I had a big smile every day when leaving and arriving at how absolutely beautiful the property is. I wish the house had a washer and dryer but otherwise, everything was fine.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The grill was used the most for cooking, it is in great condition. There are no grill utensils to use but there are some in the kitchen to use. Tony answered my questions very quickly. We let Tony we would like extra towels since there was no washer and dryer. The hot tub was great. Some cleaning could be done to the place. I would like to stay at some other places Tony has listed in the area.

A nice place to spend a few nights. Some feedback and a few items to consider:
– Front door was unlocked with the key in the deadbolt when we arrived. Not a big deal but it was unsecure for some period of time.
– Hot tub had no cover so it got a bit dirty but it did maintain the temperature.
– Located on a fairly busy road, definitely not secluded.
– One of the neighbor’s down the street was not a fan of us walking our dogs on the street and warned us that he had German Shephards. We never veered off the main street but he acted like it was his personal drive.
– Generally clean but could really use a deep clean. When pulling out the sofabed it was covered in crumbs.
– House had no TP but owner pointed out where we could get more in a secure area.
– Lawn games were plentiful and as described.
– Front of house exterior power outlets and porch fan and fan lights did not work.
– Good internet.
– Nice fire pit and furniture.

My friends and I enjoyed our brief stay, although we were disappointed to receive only towel each to use for both showering and the hot tub (pls provide separate towels for hot tub). Tony was very responsive and the place was clean. He offered early check-in but wanted to slip in an upcharge of $59 for only a 2-hr difference. My biggest complaint is that upon making the reservation on Aug. 8, Tony asked how many people would be staying for towels and linens. The listing said it accommodated 5 (even though it can certainly host more) and at that time there were 6 of us. Tony surprised me on Aug. 13, the day before check-in and well beyond the cancellation deadline to modify the reservation with an upcharge of $104.12 because of the 6th person. He should have said something about it 5 days earlier. It felt deceptive. Unfortunately, two of my friends couldn’t make it so I declined the modification. PLEASE BE TRANSPARENT ABOUT ALL COSTS in your ad, including upgrades.

Happy to have stayed at this cabin by Berkeley Springs. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue (used items left behind from previous tenants, sticky stain on hardwood) but that being said, the space was as-described and more than spacious enough for a couple’s getaway at an affordable price and with the amenities promised (fire pit + hot tub) in clean, working order. Area is beautiful with Green Ridge Forest + Overlook nearby and plenty of fantastic breweries and distilleries in the area. A big thank you to Tony for being responsive and helpful during our stay.
IMPORTANT RECC TO ANYONE STAYING: Bring bugspray and make sure doors/openings are closed in house at night or risk the wrath of the katydid!

Pine Hallow is the perfect getaway! We opted to stay at the property all weekend and take full advantage of the amenities (hot tub, fire pit, indoor and outdoor games) but the town of Berkeley Springs was less than a 15 minute drive which offered restaurants, shops, museums and much more! Tony was a great host – checked in before and after our stay, responded quickly when we had questions about the house and offered some recommendations on things to do around the area. I look forward to staying with Tony again at Pine Hallow or at another one of his awesome properties!

Great place for a little getaway. Tony’s place was super clean and it had everything you needed for a stress free, relaxing stay. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after a long day of hiking. It is close to downtown Berkley Springs which is nice when you want to jump in the car to grab a bite to eat. Tony was great with communicating with us the whole time. I would definitely recommend a stay here and will definitely be back for my next stay in the area.

We had a great stay at Tony’s cabin. He was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub was very clean and the perfect temperature to relax after a day of bike riding and hiking. The location is close to town and only a short drive to C&O Rail Trails and Cacapon State Park. Had a great stay at this booking. The space was cozy, beds/bedding were soft, and the hot tub was perfect for a rainy afternoon. Tony was very helpful through the stay with recommendations when needed. I’ll add that there was some construction going on at a nearby property and could hear large equipment at times in the home- it did not disrupt our stay at all but feels worthy the point out for anyone prioritizing a quiet stay.

Tony’s place was great! The location to Berkeley Springs was perfect for what we were looking for, close to town but felt peaceful in the woods. It’s also a short drive to Cacapon State Park which was our reason for the trip (note that we missed the road to the northern most point of VA is closed Nov-April) Awesome looking mountain bike trails, dog park, hiking (for winter months). Hot tub is always a great thing to have when its cold and thanks to it being on the covered porch we were able to enjoy it while it rained Saturday. Our favorite part of the house was the dining area which had a very Zen feel to it and was very relaxing. We like to cook when we travel and I felt like Tony’s place had all of the pots and pans and utensils we needed.

Our party of six really enjoyed the place— the hot tub, and living areas really were perfect. Although some updates are needed, like small water damage in bathroom, however it didn’t bother us at all. The house is very clean and you honestly would not know that dogs are allowed. The gated porch is perfect for kids or dogs and everything worked perfectly. A quick 4 minute drive puts you in down town Berkley Springs. The games were a nice touch! Tony was very communicative.

Our multi-generational family had a great time at this cabin-like home set in the woods (yet just a skip and a hop to Berkeley Springs). Fire-pits at both the front of the home and in back made roasting marshmallows easy. The elder of our group enjoyed a long bike-ride around the area.

Great house, beautiful location. It was a little cold for us, but once we found all the dials for the baseboard and heaters throughout the house it was fine. For those coming to visit, you should consider bringing extra towels… with our family of 6 there was one per person (which is great) but with the hot tub, and then showers I wish we’d brought more. Also, this location is very convenient to Berkeley Springs. We loved exploring this quaint little town.

Overall this place provided a great stay. It had all the things that made our stay comfortable. Hot tub was fantastic and the mattresses even on the bunk beds were so comfy. Our only issue was some of the dining table chairs were broken and/or very loose. Tony was very responsive and proactive in his communication.
Very close to Berkeley Springs (<5 min drive) and Cacapon State Park (~20 min) which makes it a great jumping off point for all you adventures (or just staying in). The cabin is right off a main road so although there weren’t many cars it wasn’t a secluded property. However other than cars we didn’t see anyone else (not even the neighbor across the street).

Tony’s place was comfortable and welcoming! The whole process was very easy and Tony is great with communication. Expectations were clearly laid out and easy to follow, which took out any feelings of being a guest in someone’s home and made us feel relaxed to enjoy the space.
We loved the sitting area to enjoy coffee. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were and how well we slept. There’s a lovely, large porch with a gate to keep the dogs in (it was such a great addition to the porch!) and we had everything we needed to cook and relax.
I’d recommend Tony’s place for a family or group of friends who want some room to spread out. There was plenty of space to hang out together, but also enough areas to relax quietly when we needed some downtime.
Cacapon Park is close by and the springs are also a short drive away, so this is a great place to stay for someone wanting a relaxing time enjoying a quaint small town.

We were looking for a “glamping” weekend, and this was a step above. I was able to get some remote work done, and then we could stream movies inside in the a/c when it was sweltering hot or thunder storming outside. Plenty of comfortable space inside. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub, and we loved having our dogs with us! Cacapon Mountain Brewing and Berkeley Springs Brewing Company were great for food and drink, and we also liked being able to prepare our own meals. This was a birthday trip for our 9 year old, and she loved it!

Tony’s house was clean, convenient, and spacious. He was great at communication leading up to our visit. The house manual was very useful and had all instructions all in one place. Our only complaints were that there were not enough towels for a house that also has a hot tub and we were only given 1 and 1/2 small rolls of toilet paper for 6 women for two days. Not a pleasant thing to discover in the middle of the night!

The cabin was in a good location, just a 4 minute drive from downtown Berkeley Springs and a short drive to Cacapon State Park. Located close to restaurants and a grocery store which is convenient. It is nestled into the woods which was also nice and mostly private with the exception of one neighbor across the road. It was nice having a hot tub right at the property. Tony was very friendly, helpful, informative and quick to respond and resolve any issues. Overall not a bad place to stay. Price was a little high compared to other listed properties, but in all fairness it was a holiday weekend. It was a relaxing little vacation.

I spent a lot of time searching for a place and so glad I decided to stay here! The location is very convenient, right up the hill from down town so you’re away from the town a bit and it’s so peaceful and quiet. There is a neighbor across the street but they were no issue and very quiet! The house was great, 3 bedrooms if you have more guests- there were 3 of us staying. It’s a very cozy place, we enjoyed nights just relaxing on the couch watching the tv- had a little hiccup with the tv remote didn’t know the volume was on the side of the remote but Tony was super great and quickly responded to a tiny question like where is the volume on the remote lol! The hot tub was great! Bed was comfy! Everything was nice and clean on arrival. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, cups, bowls, utensils, etc. so no worrying about having to buy disposable. Tony checked in with us each day to make sure everything was going well and if we needed anything! Will definitely be coming back one day!

The home had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/plates. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were clean. The fire pit, hot tub, and numerous outdoor games were great to fill the time during our family getaway. It’s a great jumping off point to set off on an outdoor adventure in the surrounding area. And while it is in fact, “in the woods,” the home is in a small neighborhood and by the road. It is however set back far enough to roam around freely.
The one hiccup we encountered was on our last night. It was unseasonably warm and the window ac units had not been installed yet. I’m sure this is just an issue during the transition of seasons, but it was warm enough that we decided to just head home early.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated Tony’s superb communication throughout our stay.

This place was so comfortable! Super clean and homey feeling. I came with my kids and they had a blast playing with the games provided outside and the hot tub was the best part! Tony’s place is a few minute drive to local activities, we did the Roman Spring Water bath! About 16 minutes out from Cacapon State park, which was just beautiful. I really recommend staying here price was amazing, loved how clean it was, lots of activities and games provided, & the hot tub just made the whole trip!

The cabin is very nice and allowed us to cook and enjoy a nice home environment. There are no TVs in the bedroom but the main TV was good. The dining area is very nice and adds to the space to enjoy the woods. There is an early check out at 10 am and you cannot check in until 4 pm -- if you want to add an hour or so either way, you have to pay for that change.

I was only there for work so I didn't get to take full advantage of the huge front porch, the hot tub, etc but I had a big smile every day when leaving and arriving at how absolutely beautiful the property is. We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The grill was used the most for cooking, it is in great condition. There are no grill utensils to use but there are some in the kitchen to use. Tony answered my questions very quickly. We let Tony we would like extra towels since there was no washer and dryer. The hot tub was great. Some cleaning could be done to the place. I would like to stay at some other places Tony has listed in the area.

A nice place to spend a few nights. Some feedback and a few items to consider:
- Front door was unlocked with the key in the deadbolt when we arrived. Not a big deal but it was unsecure for some period of time.
- Hot tub had no cover so it got a bit dirty but it did maintain the temperature.
- Located on a fairly busy road, definitely not secluded.
- One of the neighbor's down the street was not a fan of us walking our dogs on the street and warned us that he had German Shephards. We never veered off the main street but he acted like it was his personal drive.
- Generally clean but could really use a deep clean. When pulling out the sofabed it was covered in crumbs.
- House had no TP but owner pointed out where we could get more in a secure area.
- Lawn games were plentiful and as described.
- Front of house exterior power outlets and porch fan and fan lights did not work.
- Good internet.
- Nice fire pit and furniture.

My friends and I enjoyed our brief stay, although we were disappointed to receive only towel each to use for both showering and the hot tub (pls provide separate towels for hot tub). Tony was very responsive and the place was clean. He offered early check-in but wanted to slip in an upcharge of $59 for only a 2-hr difference. My biggest complaint is that upon making the reservation on Aug. 8, Tony asked how many people would be staying for towels and linens. The listing said it accommodated 5 (even though it can certainly host more) and at that time there were 6 of us. Tony surprised me on Aug. 13, the day before check-in and well beyond the cancellation deadline to modify the reservation with an upcharge of $104.12 because of the 6th person. He should have said something about it 5 days earlier. It felt deceptive. Unfortunately, two of my friends couldn't make it so I declined the modification. PLEASE BE TRANSPARENT ABOUT ALL COSTS in your ad, including upgrades.

Happy to have stayed at this cabin by Berkeley Springs. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue (used items left behind from previous tenants, sticky stain on hardwood) but that being said, the space was as-described and more than spacious enough for a couple's getaway at an affordable price and with the amenities promised (fire pit + hot tub) in clean, working order. Area is beautiful with Green Ridge Forest + Overlook nearby and plenty of fantastic breweries and distilleries in the area. A big thank you to Tony for being responsive and helpful during our stay.
IMPORTANT RECC TO ANYONE STAYING: Bring bugspray and make sure doors/openings are closed in house at night or risk the wrath of the katydid!

Pine Hallow is the perfect getaway! We opted to stay at the property all weekend and take full advantage of the amenities (hot tub, fire pit, indoor and outdoor games) but the town of Berkeley Springs was less than a 15 minute drive which offered restaurants, shops, museums and much more! Tony was a great host - checked in before and after our stay, responded quickly when we had questions about the house and offered some recommendations on things to do around the area. I look forward to staying with Tony again at Pine Hallow or at another one of his awesome properties!

Great place for a little getaway. Tony's place was super clean and it had everything you needed for a stress free, relaxing stay. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after a long day of hiking. It is close to downtown Berkley Springs which is nice when you want to jump in the car to grab a bite to eat. Tony was great with communicating with us the whole time. Tony's place was great! The location to Berkeley Springs was perfect for what we were looking for, close to town but felt peaceful in the woods. It's also a short drive to Cacapon State Park which was our reason for the trip (note that we missed the road to the northern most point of VA is closed Nov-April) Awesome looking mountain bike trails, dog park, hiking (for winter months). Hot tub is always a great thing to have when its cold and thanks to it being on the covered porch we were able to enjoy it while it rained Saturday. Our favorite part of the house was the dining area which had a very Zen feel to it and was very relaxing. We like to cook when we travel and I felt like Tony's place had all of the pots and pans and utensils we needed.

Our party of six really enjoyed the place— the hot tub, and living areas really were perfect. Although some updates are needed, like small water damage in bathroom, however it didn’t bother us at all. The house is very clean and you honestly would not know that dogs are allowed. The gated porch is perfect for kids or dogs and everything worked perfectly. A quick 4 minute drive puts you in down town Berkley Springs. The games were a nice touch! Tony was very communicative.

Great house, beautiful location. It was a little cold for us, but once we found all the dials for the baseboard and heaters throughout the house it was fine. For those coming to visit, you should consider bringing extra towels… with our family of 6 there was one per person (which is great) but with the hot tub, and then showers I wish we’d brought more. Also, this location is very convenient to Berkeley Springs. We loved exploring this quaint little town.

Overall this place provided a great stay. It had all the things that made our stay comfortable. Hot tub was fantastic and the mattresses even on the bunk beds were so comfy. Our only issue was some of the dining table chairs were broken and/or very loose. Tony was very responsive and proactive in his communication.
Very close to Berkeley Springs (<5 min drive) and Cacapon State Park (~20 min) which makes it a great jumping off point for all you adventures (or just staying in). The cabin is right off a main road so although there weren’t many cars it wasn’t a secluded property. However other than cars we didn’t see anyone else (not even the neighbor across the street).

Tony's place was comfortable and welcoming! The whole process was very easy and Tony is great with communication. Expectations were clearly laid out and easy to follow, which took out any feelings of being a guest in someone's home and made us feel relaxed to enjoy the space.
We loved the sitting area to enjoy coffee. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were and how well we slept. There's a lovely, large porch with a gate to keep the dogs in (it was such a great addition to the porch!) and we had everything we needed to cook and relax.
I'd recommend Tony's place for a family or group of friends who want some room to spread out. There was plenty of space to hang out together, but also enough areas to relax quietly when we needed some downtime.
Cacapon Park is close by and the springs are also a short drive away, so this is a great place to stay for someone wanting a relaxing time enjoying a quaint small town.

We were looking for a “glamping” weekend, and this was a step above. I was able to get some remote work done, and then we could stream movies inside in the a/c when it was sweltering hot or thunder storming outside. Plenty of comfortable space inside. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub, and we loved having our dogs with us! Cacapon Mountain Brewing and Berkeley Springs Brewing Company were great for food and drink, and we also liked being able to prepare our own meals. This was a birthday trip for our 9 year old, and she loved it!

Our only complaints were that there were not enough towels for a house that also has a hot tub and we were only given 1 and 1/2 small rolls of toilet paper for 6 women for two days. Not a pleasant thing to discover in the middle of the night!

The cabin was in a good location, just a 4 minute drive from downtown Berkeley Springs and a short drive to Cacapon State Park. Located close to restaurants and a grocery store which is convenient. It is nestled into the woods which was also nice and mostly private with the exception of one neighbor across the road. It was nice having a hot tub right at the property. Tony was very friendly, helpful, informative and quick to respond and resolve any issues. Overall not a bad place to stay. Price was a little high compared to other listed properties, but in all fairness it was a holiday weekend. It was a relaxing little vacation.

I spent a lot of time searching for a place and so glad I decided to stay here! The location is very convenient, right up the hill from down town so you’re away from the town a bit and it’s so peaceful and quiet. There is a neighbor across the street but they were no issue and very quiet! The house was great, 3 bedrooms if you have more guests- there were 3 of us staying. It’s a very cozy place, we enjoyed nights just relaxing on the couch watching the tv- had a little hiccup with the tv remote didn’t know the volume was on the side of the remote but Tony was super great and quickly responded to a tiny question like where is the volume on the remote lol! The hot tub was great! Bed was comfy! Everything was nice and clean on arrival. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, cups, bowls, utensils, etc. so no worrying about having to buy disposable. Tony checked in with us each day to make sure everything was going well and if we needed anything! Will definitely be coming back one day!

The home had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/plates. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were clean. The fire pit, hot tub, and numerous outdoor games were great to fill the time during our family getaway. It’s a great jumping off point to set off on an outdoor adventure in the surrounding area. And while it is in fact, “in the woods,” the home is in a small neighborhood and by the road. It is however set back far enough to roam around freely.
The one hiccup we encountered was on our last night. It was unseasonably warm and the window ac units had not been installed yet. I’m sure this is just an issue during the transition of seasons, but it was warm enough that we decided to just head home early.
Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated Tony’s superb communication throughout our stay.

This place was so comfortable! Super clean and homey feeling. I came with my kids and they had a blast playing with the games provided outside and the hot tub was the best part! Tony’s place is a few minute drive to local activities, we did the Roman Spring Water bath! About 16 minutes out from Cacapon State park, which was just beautiful. I really recommend staying here price was amazing, loved how clean it was, lots of activities and games provided, & the hot tub just made the whole trip!
