First of all I loved staying at Tony’s place as it was clean and private and Tony was amazing at being responsive to any needs or concerns…..but the $300 cleaning fee made the cost more expensive for just a weekend stay. Plus the checkin at 4 pm and leave at 11 am means you miss most of the days you paid for if staying for just a weekend. So if they changed their checkin times and maybe cancelled or lowered the cleaning fee according to how the cabin was left, maybe I’d consider going back. My bf and I left the cabin spotless minus the linens and towels we used so we think the cleaning fee should have been minimized.
Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit and the cabin as a whole and would recommend!

The place is just like it was described. Tony was responsive throughout the stay. We took our two young kids and our dog – they all enjoyed the stay. Be sure to take bottled water with you since the water from the tap has a noticeable sulfur smell. Tony mentions this in his instructions. It has the basics in the kitchen and has a few games for the kids. The grill outside is in good condition. Hot tub operation was easy. It was a good place for a quick night away.

Tony’s cabin was by far the BEST Airbnb me and my boyfriend have been to! It was exactly what we were looking for and Tony’s place definitely met all our wants and needs for our little peaceful getaway. Tony was extremely polite, responded very quickly with any of our questions or requests we had. Best host ever that I have experienced on Airbnb. We will definitely be back again!!

This AirBnb is nothing short of a home away from home. Tony was very accommodating to such a beautiful outdoor themed experience. We had lots of relaxing to do and the home had great furniture and an open concept to just spread out and become comfortable. It included great amenities suited for being outside like a grill, hot tub, and outside games suitable for adults and children alike. Had an amazing stay in a quiet quaint cabin in the mountains.

The floors weren’t clean near the doors, to be expected in nature I suppose. The screen doors were not on track & were broken, as well as some of the sliding blinds were broken. There were shower items left from previous guests in the bathroom. Overall, it’s a great retreat. Some friends & I went for 3 nights, we really enjoyed the peace & quiet.

The cabin is located in a beautiful & peaceful neighborhood. We only stayed a night but had everything we wanted and if something was missing, Tyler responded promptly to our needs and was friendly. I highly recommend this stay.

This is the *coziest* little cabin. We visited in December (and experienced our first 2023 snow while there!) and had a great time. It’s an easy 25-30 minute drive to the main Berkley Springs area, so you’re close to spas, shops, etc., but still feel delightfully “in the middle of nowhere.” The house’s windows are large and have lovely wooded views.
We enjoyed using the firepit and hot tub (particularly the morning of our departure, where it started to snow while we were in it!). The living room is cozy, and we spent time under blankets watching lots of Unsolved Mysteries.
Checkout is easy too. We’ve all stayed in AirBnBs where you’re paying a exorbitant cleaning fee AND being asked to essentially clean the house from to top to bottom. Tony asks that you wash the dishes you’ve used, take out the trash, and adjust the thermostat — a perfect amount of “to dos” when you’re staying in an AirBnB on vacay.
As we said multiple times upon checking out… “We’d totally come back!”

My partner and I had a great time during our stay here. As a few other reviewers mentioned, the photos led us to expect a more updated cabin but we spent most of our time exploring Berkeley Springs rather than hanging out inside.
Using the hot tub under the stars was a wonderful experience, the neighborhood was extremely quiet and secluded and Tony was very communicative during our stay. Good value if you’re looking for a “glamping” experience rather than a sleek modern cabin.

Tony is a great host who sent out clear instructions and friendly reminders.
Beds are comfortable. Bed sheets and towels are clean and nice. Plenty utensils to satisify all kinds of requirements. Hot tub is super nice and the key reason we selected this house.
The house felt smaller than we expected and it’s a little outdated.
Washer does not work. Weak flushing toilet.
We forgot to bring some coffee and tea bags. It would be nice to be able to enjoy some hot drinks while looking at the outdoor scene.

The best part of this cabin is the attentiveness the host provides! The location and hot tub are amazing! The cabin is 12 minutes from Cacapon state park, which is a beautiful park! The downfall of this house is it’s a little dated but the furniture is modernized. The pull out couch was not clean and the toilet is wonky! But besides that it was a good stay!

We had some issues with the streaming and a 4pm check in and 10am check out is tough but you can pay for additional time. Just feels like a short stay. A good home base to explore the area! We were able to hike in the state park and bike the C and O canal and easily return to relax at the house. The kitchen had everything we needed and the deck was a great place to have our morning coffee. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The cabin was not as shown in the photos and it needs quite a bit of maintenance, but Tony was responsive and friendly. The neighbors were way closer than I expected, a stones throw, not private at all. A stream is shown, but it’s a bit misleading as it’s not accessible from this property but a community access point about a 15 minute walk away as later described in the house manual after booking. I was looking forward to watching my kids play in the stream while I had some coffee or read from the deck, but that wasn’t possible. The fire pit had beer tops everywhere and spent shotgun shell casings in it, and the ground is uneven. The TV was nice and we had fun playing the giant Connect 4 and a family card game, but at $180/night, I expected a nicer, more private space. I did share a list of maintenance items and more details with the owner. Based on guidance for these ratings, I feel like a 4 is very generous, and would give 3.5 if possible.

Sweet cabin in the middle of the woods. The kids enjoyed exploring around the cabin. It was loaded with games (for inside and outside)! And the hot tub was perfect! The beds and linens were super comfy and the furniture was cute! I will say the cabin looks a little older in person, but everything is in great working condition and the nice furniture makes up for it. The place was immaculately clean! There is a nice walk to a stream nearby and it is close to hiking trails at Cacapon State Park. We have Verizon service and had a clear connection almost the whole time! Even able to do a few virtual business meetings with no trouble. We didn’t venture out much for food but used the well stocked kitchen a lot (be sure to bring your own spices and aluminum foil if ya plan on cooking). Also check out Tony’s Butchers Block- one little place we did eat- yummy pizza and BBQ. Seriously, book it, the property was perfect for some quiet family time!

It was a great weekend getaway! The only downside was the weekend we went there were winds during the night that knocked the power out and it got really cold, really fast. So we had to find something else to do for a part of the day since nothing worked but Tony was super responsive and kept us updated on the work that was being done to restore the power (and it came back on in a few hours once they started working on it). It was a beautifully relaxing place to stay; and the hot tub was an excellent feature during the winter 🙂 Dog-friendly and super easy to feel right at home in the woods.

We had an enjoyable stay here and it was even better that our pups could come along! It is situated near Berkeley Springs which offers some great cafes, coffee shops, and a few awesome dinner spots. We also loved how close it was to some good trails. The hot tub really made the home and was a must on a cold flurry filled afternoon. It was great to have a creek a short walk from the home and the dogs had a blast. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the stay.

Our stay was wonderful. It was very calm and peaceful among the trees. Which was exactly what we were hoping for in a getaway from the city. Tony was a very responsive host. He was very communicative about house rules and was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Tony provided thorough information about the cabin and things to do and see in the area. We especially enjoyed a walk to Sleepy Creek. My dogs enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching out in the woods- a freedom they don’t usually have. The hot tub was my favorite amenity! It felt like luxury after a long hike in Great Cacapon State Park. Would recommend!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay! The house was perfect for a couples getaway. The bed and blankets were so soft I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The weather was perfect for the hot tub that was right outside our room. There was a really good and cheap Chinese place about 20 minutes away called Panda Restaurant. Also, Tony was a great host. He responded right away to everything and was super helpful! I would definitely stay again!

This is a great place for peace of mind. Very quiet and beautiful I brought my chihuahua with me, she was definitely excited to explore the wooded areas surrounding us. My friends and I really loved the large glass windows in the back of the house. We really enjoyed the view! The games offered were fun as well! Kept us entertained for a good while. The amount of streaming channels they had were amazing as well. Last but not least, the kitchen. This was my favorite part, as I was so excited to cook meals for my friends in a kitchen with lots of counter space lol. Overall, I would recommend to everyone. There is something for everyone here.

This cabin was beautiful, comfy, and cozy. The space was open and there was enough space for our whole family to sit comfortably. The hot tub was great and really easy to use. House was private enough to feel on your own but also close enough (20 minutes) to Berkeley Springs.

This is a great cabin in the woods, a nice place to relax as a family, play games together, roast marshmallows and enjoy the hot tub.
One thing to note is that there is a sulfur smell in the water, it’s not bad but you will notice it.

The hot tub was very enjoyable and clean, the kitchen has everything you need for great meals and coffee, and the whole place was very clean! These were our 3 priorities in staying here, so we are giving a 5 star review for Tony as a host and for these priority factors. The cabin itself was a bit older than we were expecting based on the photos, but it didn’t detract from our stay. Also, the laundry machines were clean and a nice touch we weren’t expecting to need during our stay but didn’t end up using! Very appreciated. Thank you, Tony!

Honestly this little cabin in the woods is amazing. The house is decorated well and makes you feel tight at home while you’re tucked away in the woods. The hot tub is big and clean and gives you a perfect view of the fall leaves while you’re enjoying your coffee or bourbon. Tony answered all my questions and was beyond accommodating to a few extras I asked for. Another major bonus of the stay was the fact that we were able to bring our pups with us which can be hard to find at times. If you want a quiet little getaway with the ability to hike and walk through a small town don’t look any further then this spot to relax!

This is the *coziest* little cabin. We visited in December (and experienced our first 2023 snow while there!) and had a great time. It's an easy 25-30 minute drive to the main Berkley Springs area, so you're close to spas, shops, etc., but still feel delightfully "in the middle of nowhere." The house's windows are large and have lovely wooded views.
We enjoyed using the firepit and hot tub (particularly the morning of our departure, where it started to snow while we were in it!). The living room is cozy, and we spent time under blankets watching lots of Unsolved Mysteries.
Checkout is easy too. We've all stayed in AirBnBs where you're paying a exorbitant cleaning fee AND being asked to essentially clean the house from to top to bottom. Tony asks that you wash the dishes you've used, take out the trash, and adjust the thermostat -- a perfect amount of "to dos" when you're staying in an AirBnB on vacay.
As we said multiple times upon checking out... "We'd totally come back!"

My partner and I had a great time during our stay here. As a few other reviewers mentioned, the photos led us to expect a more updated cabin but we spent most of our time exploring Berkeley Springs rather than hanging out inside.
Using the hot tub under the stars was a wonderful experience, the neighborhood was extremely quiet and secluded and Tony was very communicative during our stay. Good value if you're looking for a "glamping" experience rather than a sleek modern cabin.

Beds are comfortable. Bed sheets and towels are clean and nice. Plenty utensils to satisify all kinds of requirements. Hot tub is super nice and the key reason we selected this house.
The house felt smaller than we expected and it's a little outdated.
Washer does not work. Weak flushing toilet.
We forgot to bring some coffee and tea bags. It would be nice to be able to enjoy some hot drinks while looking at the outdoor scene.

The best part of this cabin is the attentiveness the host provides! The location and hot tub are amazing! The cabin is 12 minutes from Cacapon state park, which is a beautiful park! The downfall of this house is it’s a little dated but the furniture is modernized. The pull out couch was not clean and the toilet is wonky! But besides that it was a good stay!

The cabin was not as shown in the photos and it needs quite a bit of maintenance, but Tony was responsive and friendly. The neighbors were way closer than I expected, a stones throw, not private at all. A stream is shown, but it’s a bit misleading as it’s not accessible from this property but a community access point about a 15 minute walk away as later described in the house manual after booking. I was looking forward to watching my kids play in the stream while I had some coffee or read from the deck, but that wasn’t possible. The fire pit had beer tops everywhere and spent shotgun shell casings in it, and the ground is uneven. The TV was nice and we had fun playing the giant Connect 4 and a family card game, but at $180/night, I expected a nicer, more private space. I did share a list of maintenance items and more details with the owner. Based on guidance for these ratings, I feel like a 4 is very generous, and would give 3.5 if possible.

Sweet cabin in the middle of the woods. The kids enjoyed exploring around the cabin. It was loaded with games (for inside and outside)! And the hot tub was perfect! The beds and linens were super comfy and the furniture was cute! I will say the cabin looks a little older in person, but everything is in great working condition and the nice furniture makes up for it. The place was immaculately clean! There is a nice walk to a stream nearby and it is close to hiking trails at Cacapon State Park. We have Verizon service and had a clear connection almost the whole time! Even able to do a few virtual business meetings with no trouble. We didn’t venture out much for food but used the well stocked kitchen a lot (be sure to bring your own spices and aluminum foil if ya plan on cooking). Also check out Tony’s Butchers Block- one little place we did eat- yummy pizza and BBQ. Seriously, book it, the property was perfect for some quiet family time!

It was a great weekend getaway! The only downside was the weekend we went there were winds during the night that knocked the power out and it got really cold, really fast. So we had to find something else to do for a part of the day since nothing worked but Tony was super responsive and kept us updated on the work that was being done to restore the power (and it came back on in a few hours once they started working on it). It was a beautifully relaxing place to stay; and the hot tub was an excellent feature during the winter 🙂 Dog-friendly and super easy to feel right at home in the woods.

We had an enjoyable stay here and it was even better that our pups could come along! It is situated near Berkeley Springs which offers some great cafes, coffee shops, and a few awesome dinner spots. We also loved how close it was to some good trails. The hot tub really made the home and was a must on a cold flurry filled afternoon. Our stay was wonderful. It was very calm and peaceful among the trees. Which was exactly what we were hoping for in a getaway from the city. Tony was a very responsive host. He was very communicative about house rules and was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Tony provided thorough information about the cabin and things to do and see in the area. We especially enjoyed a walk to Sleepy Creek. My dogs enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching out in the woods- a freedom they don’t usually have. The hot tub was my favorite amenity! My boyfriend and I had a great stay! The house was perfect for a couples getaway. The bed and blankets were so soft I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The weather was perfect for the hot tub that was right outside our room. There was a really good and cheap Chinese place about 20 minutes away called Panda Restaurant. Also, Tony was a great host. This is a great place for peace of mind. Very quiet and beautiful I brought my chihuahua with me, she was definitely excited to explore the wooded areas surrounding us. My friends and I really loved the large glass windows in the back of the house. We really enjoyed the view! The games offered were fun as well! Kept us entertained for a good while. The amount of streaming channels they had were amazing as well. Last but not least, the kitchen. This was my favorite part, as I was so excited to cook meals for my friends in a kitchen with lots of counter space lol. Overall, I would recommend to everyone. There is something for everyone here.

Honestly this little cabin in the woods is amazing. The house is decorated well and makes you feel tight at home while you’re tucked away in the woods. The hot tub is big and clean and gives you a perfect view of the fall leaves while you’re enjoying your coffee or bourbon. Another major bonus of the stay was the fact that we were able to bring our pups with us which can be hard to find at times. First of all I loved staying at Tony’s place as it was clean and private and Tony was amazing at being responsive to any needs or concerns…..but the $300 cleaning fee made the cost more expensive for just a weekend stay. Plus the checkin at 4 pm and leave at 11 am means you miss most of the days you paid for if staying for just a weekend. So if they changed their checkin times and maybe cancelled or lowered the cleaning fee according to how the cabin was left, maybe I’d consider going back. My bf and I left the cabin spotless minus the linens and towels we used so we think the cleaning fee should have been minimized.
Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit and the cabin as a whole and would recommend!

Be sure to take bottled water with you since the water from the tap has a noticeable sulfur smell. Tony mentions this in his instructions. Sweet cabin in the middle of the woods. The kids enjoyed exploring around the cabin. It was loaded with games (for inside and outside)! And the hot tub was perfect! The beds and linens were super comfy and the furniture was cute! I will say the cabin looks a little older in person, but everything is in great working condition and the nice furniture makes up for it. The place was immaculately clean! There is a nice walk to a stream nearby and it is close to hiking trails at Cacapon State Park. We have Verizon service and had a clear connection almost the whole time! Even able to do a few virtual business meetings with no trouble. We didn’t venture out much for food but used the well stocked kitchen a lot (be sure to bring your own spices and aluminum foil if ya plan on cooking). Also check out Tony’s Butchers Block- one little place we did eat- yummy pizza and BBQ. Seriously, book it, the property was perfect for some quiet family time!

Tony is a very responsive and gracious host. The place is super peaceful, secluded, and cozy. Would recommend going here to get away from the hustle and bustle.

It was a great weekend getaway! The only downside was the weekend we went there were winds during the night that knocked the power out and it got really cold, really fast. So we had to find something else to do for a part of the day since nothing worked but Tony was super responsive and kept us updated on the work that was being done to restore the power (and it came back on in a few hours once they started working on it). It was a beautifully relaxing place to stay; and the hot tub was an excellent feature during the winter 🙂 Dog-friendly and super easy to feel right at home in the woods.

We had an enjoyable stay here and it was even better that our pups could come along! It is situated near Berkeley Springs which offers some great cafes, coffee shops, and a few awesome dinner spots. We also loved how close it was to some good trails. The hot tub really made the home and was a must on a cold flurry filled afternoon. It was great to have a creek a short walk from the home and the dogs had a blast. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the stay.

Our stay was wonderful. It was very calm and peaceful among the trees. Which was exactly what we were hoping for in a getaway from the city. Tony was a very responsive host. He was very communicative about house rules and was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Tony provided thorough information about the cabin and things to do and see in the area. We especially enjoyed a walk to Sleepy Creek. My dogs enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching out in the woods- a freedom they don’t usually have. The hot tub was my favorite amenity! It felt like luxury after a long hike in Great Cacapon State Park. Would recommend!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay! The house was perfect for a couples getaway. The bed and blankets were so soft I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The weather was perfect for the hot tub that was right outside our room. There was a really good and cheap Chinese place about 20 minutes away called Panda Restaurant. Also, Tony was a great host. He responded right away to everything and was super helpful! I would definitely stay again!

This is a great place for peace of mind. Very quiet and beautiful I brought my chihuahua with me, she was definitely excited to explore the wooded areas surrounding us. My friends and I really loved the large glass windows in the back of the house. We really enjoyed the view! The games offered were fun as well! Kept us entertained for a good while. The amount of streaming channels they had were amazing as well. Last but not least, the kitchen. This was my favorite part, as I was so excited to cook meals for my friends in a kitchen with lots of counter space lol. Overall, I would recommend to everyone. There is something for everyone here.

This cabin was beautiful, comfy, and cozy. The space was open and there was enough space for our whole family to sit comfortably. The hot tub was great and really easy to use. House was private enough to feel on your own but also close enough (20 minutes) to Berkeley Springs.

This is a great cabin in the woods, a nice place to relax as a family, play games together, roast marshmallows and enjoy the hot tub.
One thing to note is that there is a sulfur smell in the water, it’s not bad but you will notice it.

The hot tub was very enjoyable and clean, the kitchen has everything you need for great meals and coffee, and the whole place was very clean! These were our 3 priorities in staying here, so we are giving a 5 star review for Tony as a host and for these priority factors. The cabin itself was a bit older than we were expecting based on the photos, but it didn’t detract from our stay. Also, the laundry machines were clean and a nice touch we weren’t expecting to need during our stay but didn’t end up using! Very appreciated. Thank you, Tony!

This was a great and beautiful stay! Would definitely recommend! Just be aware that most of the places around the area are at least 20mins away but it makes you appreciate nature and your time with your love ones!

Had a great weekend in Berkley Springs. The house is near some nice hiking and it was lovely to use the hot tub at the end of the night. Tony was very responsive when we had questions and proactively gave us lots of us information.

Tony’s cabin was the perfect quiet get away. His communication was fantastic. The cabin was well kept, clean and cute! Easy to get to location, enough in the “middle of no where” without being too far away from civilization. Just what the doctor ordered. Hope to stay again in the future and bring our family!

This is such a great place to experience Cacapon and Berkeley Springs. It is comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed everything about our stay, the fire pit and the views of the woods, the hot tub, and the porch with grill were highlights.

Honestly this little cabin in the woods is amazing. The house is decorated well and makes you feel tight at home while you’re tucked away in the woods. The hot tub is big and clean and gives you a perfect view of the fall leaves while you’re enjoying your coffee or bourbon. Tony answered all my questions and was beyond accommodating to a few extras I asked for. Another major bonus of the stay was the fact that we were able to bring our pups with us which can be hard to find at times. If you want a quiet little getaway with the ability to hike and walk through a small town don’t look any further then this spot to relax!

First of all I loved staying at Tony’s place as it was clean and private and Tony was amazing at being responsive to any needs or concerns…..but the $300 cleaning fee made the cost more expensive for just a weekend stay. Plus the checkin at 4 pm and leave at 11 am means you miss most of the days you paid for if staying for just a weekend. So if they changed their checkin times and maybe cancelled or lowered the cleaning fee according to how the cabin was left, maybe I’d consider going back. My bf and I left the cabin spotless minus the linens and towels we used so we think the cleaning fee should have been minimized.
Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit and the cabin as a whole and would recommend!

The place is just like it was described. Tony was responsive throughout the stay. We took our two young kids and our dog – they all enjoyed the stay. Be sure to take bottled water with you since the water from the tap has a noticeable sulfur smell. Tony mentions this in his instructions. It has the basics in the kitchen and has a few games for the kids. The grill outside is in good condition. Hot tub operation was easy. It was a good place for a quick night away.
