The Home
The cabin includes:
- Outdoor hot tub perfect for relaxing
- 2 bedrooms, both with queen-size beds
- Fully-stocked kitchen with stove/oven and microwave
- Central AC and heat to keep you comfortable, regardless of the weather
- Newly installed Fiber Optic WiFi
- Hair dryer, iron, and full bathtub -- all the essentials for your home away from home
- Wood stove to keep you cozy at night
- Outside fire pit with seating for the whole gang
- An outdoor yard game treasure box full of activities for kids and adults: cornhole, volleyball, soccer balls, horseshoes, and many more!
Our cabin also has private access to the Cacapon River, just a quick 15 min walk from the cabin. It’s perfect (especially on a hot day!) for swimming, fishing, or splashing around.
One quick note: our cabin is secluded, and without cell service. We love disconnecting from the world while we're there and putting away our smartphones, but please plan accordingly. That said, we have plenty of board games, outdoor games, and the hot tub to enjoy!
Also, the gravel road up to the cabin is steep in some places. We've visited many times in only our front-wheel drive car, but during the winter or after a recent rainstorm, we recommend driving an SUV/truck or four-wheel drive car.
WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING:
Great place to spend time with your family. There was no Internet, but it was a nice bonus. Peaceful and enjoyable time with the children. We enjoyed watching movies with the kids in the evening, plenty of activities during the day, and, of course, HOT TUB. The best quality time with our family. Hope to get back there again! Gaukhar
Tony communicated extremely well. Everything we needed was there for us. Hot tub was nice. Very peaceful. Exactly what the doctor ordered!! Rebecca
We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).
Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close to Berkeley Springs (a 20 min drive away). Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US, and has fantastic breweries, restaurants, and shops for you to enjoy!
