I definitely enjoyed my stay. The home was lovely and well equipped. The area is very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Tony is an excellent host who is very responsive to all questions and concerns.

The listing was exactly as described. Tony went above and beyond and was super helpful with anything we needed. It was a fantastic location to hold Thanksgiving dinner with our family from Berkeley Springs.

We had a great stay at this location! The home is set into the woods and feels private. Very scenic views outside. The screened in porch was a nice feature and can accommodate all that stay. Inside, we were impressed that it was as clean as it appeared in the pictures. The open concept allows for all to gather comfortably. You don’t need to bring anything for the kitchen as it is fully stocked. The bedrooms were all nicely sized. The Nordic decor and design provided a relaxed atmosphere. All the fixtures were modern and functional. The host responds almost immediately. My only recommendations would be to perhaps install a few blinds in the main living area. Overall, a great value for the stay. Convenient location and easy access to activities. Comfortable and updated. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

overall it was good. Tony’s responses were clearly automated and whatever the cleaners did made the house smell horribly of cleaning product. I tried using the wash while there and I couldn’t figure it out, tried texting Tony and never got a response. Messed with it and was able to figure out my mistake.

This home was exactly what we expected, extremely comfortable and nice. Perfect for four of us and the dog. We loved the screened in porch, though there are some holes in the screens, but so we didn’t have issues with bugs. Everything is in great working order, the grill on the deck is fantastic. This house was easily accessible for one in our party who has trouble with stairs.

Positive:
Sleeping amenities were plenty and comfortable for all! Loved that almost anything we could think of needing and then some was available. Speaking back and forth with the host was easy, quick and professional.
Negative:
Would have loved an hour earlier check in and an hour later check out. We found the living room was not very functional for a family of 5. Though the room was large, it had a small couch that was not very comfortable and only fit 3 somehwat comfortably and not a lot of inviting seating. Recommend labels on the light switches

Looking for a weekend get away, this place is perfect. If you’re in the area working away from home, the location is a little ways out there. Absolutely perfect set up, amazing deck. Spacious inside and out. Great communication from host. I plan on coming back for a personal trip.

We’ve stayed several times in West Virginia, especially around Berkeley Springs, and always had good experiences — but unfortunately, this property was different.
There was a noticeable smell inside the house, as some other reviews had mentioned. On top of that, the TV wasn’t working. When we reached out to the host, the responses felt very repetitive, almost like we were communicating with a bot. For example, we were told to change the remote batteries, but the remote didn’t even have a battery compartment — it was actually a rechargeable remote that needed a charger.
Before arriving, the host had advised us to bring our own firewood, which we did — only to be told after we checked in that there was a fire ban, so we couldn't use it.
All of these small issues — along with the overall lack of maintenance — made the stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.

Wonderful time of year to be in Berkeley Springs and this house. All was in good shape at the house. We enjoyed our time there.

The Airbnb hadn’t been cleaned when we checked in. The host was proactive and sent someone to change the sheets that night. The cleaners were scheduled to come in the next day to clean the airbnb, but they came very late. We got a late checkout but the cleaners showed up at 10:30, so we had to rush out. Overall the place wasn’t clean at all and there was some kind of miscommunication going on with the cleaners. The neighborhood was nice enough, but we didn’t have a great experience.
