We used the space for a collaboative working Work Retreat and it worked out perfectly. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub. Loved seeing the deer and woodpeckers. Lovely place and the hosts were very communicative, helpful, and knowledgeable.

The place was decent but there’s a few things that could have been better. First the hanging lamp in the living area was very dusty. My family has severe allergies so that along with allergy season did not help with symptoms. The couch was also dirty with stains. Host reached out before we arrived and before checking out offering for us to stay an extra day but did not want to accommodate with a late check out even thought he stated no one had booked for the day we were leaving. With the location being so far away from stores I would have expected for it to be stocked better to eliminate frequent trips to the store. It was a dead bird with its head stuck in a crack on the porch by the grill so we didn’t spend much time out there because of it. Last thing was something that couldn’t be prevented. Both mornings I was awaken very early by a blue jay tapping and running in to the window for hours. It was frustrating because it was suppose to be a relaxing get away and I couldn’t sleep in.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tony’s house! He was very responsive and helpful, providing restaurant, hiking, and other local recommendations. Everything in the house matched the listing and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay. Good golf course near by with reasonable rentals and tee prices. Great to use gym access, and having hot tub onsite. Host was responsive. The Airbnb is pet friendly and there was a lot of dog hair on the living room furniture which was a downside for my group.

The stay was fine- but not worth the price for one night. When we entered, the building was very hot. We realized the heat had been turned on to 85 degrees and had been running for a while. Next, the hot tub was in the front of the house rather than the back. It was awkward placement. The biggest issue we had was that the hot tub was not clean. It had mud along the insides and the water was murky. This is not brand new, like the listing says.

The only thing my team did not liked was the upstair floor is an open place to sleep and there is no lock on downstairs bathroom.

Tony and Management team were very quick and responsive.
Rental was Great for R&R. Wish small towns nearby offered little more in regards to eateries/entertainment; most restaurants and cafes were closed (on weekdays too). Travel to Cacapon State Park or horseback riding in VA was 45-70 min drive but owner was up front about distance from things. Those trips were excellent. Berkley Springs nearby was a little disappointing.
Really enjoyed sports/fitness center before day started and the hot tub in cool evenings. Fenced yard for dog was plus! Loved different options for keeping cool or warm. Stocked pretty good in kitchen: could add measuring cups. Easy to work grill and there was even a backup propane tank!
House in general is very nice. I think cleaning person(s) need to pay attention to some details: dirty socks left from previous guest, cleaning mop and supplies left out, dust under things.
Neighborhood (during March at least) was quiet, peaceful, and very low car traffic.

We had such a lovely time at Tony’s property we even extended our stay for another night while we were there! The house is cozy and the perfect spot for a little getaway. We loved the hot tub and the fenced in yard for our dogs. The only thing to note would be that you cannot access the fenced in yard from the house, you have to go around back and through a gate. No big deal really but just something to know if you are looking for the convenience of letting your dog straight out the door into a safe space. Tony was very responsive for everything we needed and gave us sports center passes for every day so we could play tennis throughout our stay. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay here again!

Nice place, as described. Few issues to include not being able to get in upon arrival due to being provided the incorrect code. Contacted 30minutes prior to arrival with message of water being purple then found out it was just the hot tub. Issue fixed the following day. Unclear instructions for fireplace and property as manual needs updated. Could not use the WiFi as login provided on fridge was not correct however we were able to connect through Xfinity as that’s what we had so no issue there. Other things to be aware of was no can opener or measuring cups/measuring spoons for cooking. Pink stains on bathroom door blind cover upstairs and on wall in downstairs bedroom and yard had various litter. Overall communication A+ even through holiday. Some areas to improve but overall good stay, would come again!! Rec center great as well and very nice people!!

The cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. A cozy home, great bedrooms, we loved it! We lacked some kitchen items as blender and kitchen towel, but nothing that affected our stay. We really recommend it!

My wife and I had a great stay here. We wanted a simple getaway from the hustle and bustle of DC and this was exactly it. We were glad to find a property that not only allowed dogs but had a fenced in yard. It made the experience so much more relaxing allowing the dogs to run care free while we took in the nature from the backyard. Property sits in a quiet area with plenty of wildlife in the morning hours to watch. Definitely recommend and would return. For dog goers, the yard is secure and big enough for 2 dogs to get some fetch in, but if you’re looking for massive running space, you’ll likely be disappointed. Still enjoyable all around!

This place was beautiful to visit during the fall . The home was beautiful and it was perfect for our family of 8 to get away and enjoy the outdoors . We loved having access to the sports complex to swim and play pickle ball . We will always book with Tony and blue ridge . So many options to pick from . The kids loved to ride their bikes on the quiet street . The kitchen was my dream kitchen . So much work space . The beds were comfy !! We all slept great ! The location was quiet and we even saw some deer .

We chose this location because we wanted to visit Berkeley Springs, WV and we travel w/2 large dogs. It was an easy 20 minute drive to town. There is a fenced area but isn’t accessible from the deck. U have to walk around the side yard. The community where the home is located is very lovely, semi-private and walkable and many homes had dogs. Seemed to be both seasonal and permanent homes. There is club house about 1/2 mile from the home and Tony provided free passes. All in all, I was very satisfied and do recommend staying here. If u r willing to drive, there r several state/national parks within approximately 1 hr drive.

We were looking for a place where we could bring our dogs and go away to relax for a few days. This house was perfect. A nice quiet neighborhood, clean and comfortable home with large windows, a deck, fenced in yard (although no direct access from the house), and a hot tub. We definitely recommend this house and nearby Big Goats Ice Cream & Hot Dog Shack.

Our family of six (plus dog) really enjoyed our stay. Having the guest passes to the sports center and pools were key and the golfing rates were reasonable for part of our group to spend a morning on the course. We also managed to hike to Devil’s Nose in the Sleepy Creek Wilderness which features a beautiful creek crossing as well as a nice view at the top.
We’d love to come back to the area and knowing that the indoor sports center is available in any weather is a great benefit.

This house is located in a large lot neighborhood. While you can see the houses next to it, it still had that private feel to it. When we pulled up there were about 5 deer walking around. The house was easy to get into and it was immaculate. Instructions were very clear and contained all the information that we needed. The hot tub was a nice touch and felt nice after being on the road most of the day. We brought our dog and it was very nice to have a fenced in backyard so he could get some exercise. Toni was very responsive and answered any questions we had in a very timely manor. Highly recommend and would stay with them again.

Felt the checkout time was too early (10AM) as the check in time is at 4:00 PM.
The Kitchen was fully loaded.
The hot tub was frothing up too much so was skeptical to get in.

The cabin is very modern and beautiful, everything is extremely organized and clean, and tony is a great host , very responsive and willing to help, the only issue was the heat , there were two A/C units but they are not strong enough the cabin felt like a dry sauna, we were sweating all day, I contacted tony and fortunately he had a fan in the closet for us which made it a little better but still extremely hot, the other point that i like to point out is you will not feel like you are deep in the woods , it was more like my hometown community in Virginia, if you are looking for a nature isolated experience you probably won’t be satisfied with this location.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Tony’s place. The area is private and quiet. At night, it gets really dark and during the day you do see deers in the area. The drive to the cabin was interesting and fun with all the turns making it feel like we were in a movie. If you’re looking for a woodsy atmosphere, I definitely recommend booking with Tony!

Beautiful cabin in the woods at a reasonable price in a nice location. Also, the access to the private tennis courts and pool was a major plus. We will be staying here again in the future for a quick retreat to the mountains.

This place was amazing with beautiful surroundings and peaceful sounds! We had deer in the backyard when we drove up to the house!! It was perfect for taking my adult children for a weekend. The hot tub was perfect after shopping and hiking. I also liked the washer and dryer. I threw our towels in the wash so they would be clean in the morning. If you are thinking of renting the place do it! I would totally rent from Tony again! The only thing I would do differently would be to bring beach towels for the hot tub instead of using our bath towels. Sadly, we didn’t use the fire pit because it rained but it looked like it would be a great place for s’mores.

Words cannot describe my experience. We booked last minute as our initial spring break plans fell through so finding an affordable place only and hour 1/2 drive from home felt like an impossible task but we somehow stumbled across this gem hidden in the woods and couldn’t have been happier. It was spacious, 15 mins drive from groceries and most of all private giving us much needed peace and quiet from our normal city dwelling. Will recommend and book another stay soon.

this is my 3rd time staying at a cabin hosted by Tony, he is an exceptional host. the kitchen was beyond stocked with anything you’d need to cook large meals. his response time is amazing, the power went out for a few hours in the area and he kept updating me on the estimated time it would be back on. my only complaint was that the hot tub had an insane amount of chlorine in it making it unusable the first night. the second night it balanced out and was able to be used. I would definitely recommend any of Tony’s cabins

We had an amazing time staying here. Our dogs loved having the Fenston backyard as well. The house was way bigger than what we needed for just the two of us but it worked out perfectly as we had a lot of rain during our visit so we spent a lot of time there! Just as a heads up if you are bringing your pup with you, the house right up the road has a ton of off leash dogs, so I would not advise walking your pup around the neighborhood. the host was super helpful and super responsive and was absolutely a joy to work with. We look forward to booking other properties with them!

This was the third one of Tony’s properties I’ve stayed at and each one is better than the next. Tony is a great communicator and always responded within a few minutes. The home was close enough to activities, but in the wood enough that it was peaceful!! We are already planning our next trip!

We had a great time at the cabin, it was very peaceful and had everything I looked for (wi-fi, fireplace, hot tub). Tony is a wonderful host and responds right away. I’ve seen some negative reviews before I booked, but one thing to keep in mind is that it is a cabin and not a 5 star hotel. You will find imperfection, but this should be expected in the cabin in the woods. The value was great, I definitely recommend this place and will be back. What I specifically liked is that cabin is just off the road so you don’t need SUV to get to it. Thanks Tony!

This Airbnb was an absolute delight! Tony’s responsiveness was beyond exceptional…making him a real “Super host”. From the moment I booked until the end of my stay, he was incredibly attentive and responsive…I truly appreciated his dedication to ensuring a wonderful stay.
The cabin is exactly as described. Comfortable beds, very clean and great amenities…including the very hot & clean hot tub (no fear of warm bath water here), hotel like plush towels and a large wood burning fireplace. The bathroom showers offer great water pressure and sufficient hot water too!
Bring what you need for the first night and venture out the next day for last minute needs or to explore the area. It’s not at all far from anything you need… including great hiking trails just minutes away, groceries, beer/wine or firewood.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking a host who goes above and beyond and would like a quiet & relaxing getaway in a well appointed cabin.

The cabin in Hedgesville was private and served as a relaxing getaway for my husband and I. It looked like the pictures and was very well equipped. Tony’s communication throughout was very helpful! Although it was just the two of us, there were a lot more beds and space available that would also make it great for a family. It is very secluded which was mentioned and provided a cozy place for us to unwind. There was some conflicting information in the provided house manual – listing several restaurants as “about 5 minutes from our place”, but they were actually in a neighboring town that was 20+ minutes away. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us, but could be helpful to know if you don’t plan to cook much at the cabin. We visited the Canary Grill in Berkeley Springs (20-25 min.) for dinner one evening and went to Brix 27 (delicious) in Martinsburg (also about 25 min.) another night. Overall, it was a nice stay for us and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to “get away from it all”!

I can’t say enough wonderful things. The home is perfect and exactly what we were looking for. We got to add an additional day to our trip and Tony was very responsive and accommodating. We had a fantastic time making s’mores in the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. Location is remote and peaceful with grocery and restaurants nearby. All sightseeing spots are an easy drive with beautiful scenery and the folks we interacted with were so sweet and kind. On our last night it was a cool fall night and we celebrated with a warm fire in the fireplace and scary movie and popcorn. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation just wish it could have lasted longer!

Had an amazing time at this place. Absolutely perfect for a staycation; so well-maintained! It felt great to reconnect with nature – a family of deer came by :’) Played lots of games that were provided at the stay. Grill and hot-tub added to the pleasure. We definitely plan to be back!

We booked this place based on the description on the website: “We also have access to a private lake — with a sand beach and large dock — just outside the resort, about a 7 minute drive from the cabin. It’s open year round for fishing (we’ve caught bluegills, bass, and catfish), and in the summer is great for a swim!”
Despite direct communication with the host about this lake, the communication was not clear and when we arrived there was no private lake nearby – only Sleep Creek Lake, which was much father than 7 minutes, with the last miles of travel being on pot-hole filled dirt/stone roads. The lake was much too rustic for kids to fish easily without going out on a boat of some sort, which we didn’t have. And, there was no swimming. Aside from this disappointing incongruity, we enjoyed the AC, hot tub, and campfire. We also drove 45 min. to Cacapon State Park, which was nice – just farther than we had anticipated traveling for water fun.

We had such a lovely time at Tony’s property we even extended our stay for another night while we were there! The house is cozy and the perfect spot for a little getaway. We loved the hot tub and the fenced in yard for our dogs. The only thing to note would be that you cannot access the fenced in yard from the house, you have to go around back and through a gate. No big deal really but just something to know if you are looking for the convenience of letting your dog straight out the door into a safe space. Tony was very responsive for everything we needed and gave us sports center passes for every day so we could play tennis throughout our stay. We had an awesome time and would definitely stay here again!

Great location, clean and cute house. Bonus was the indoor gym/pool, hot tub, and indoor fireplace. Tony was responsive and easy to work with. We'd love to rent again from them!

Nice place, as described. Few issues to include not being able to get in upon arrival due to being provided the incorrect code. Contacted 30minutes prior to arrival with message of water being purple then found out it was just the hot tub. Issue fixed the following day. Unclear instructions for fireplace and property as manual needs updated. Could not use the WiFi as login provided on fridge was not correct however we were able to connect through Xfinity as that’s what we had so no issue there. Other things to be aware of was no can opener or measuring cups/measuring spoons for cooking. Pink stains on bathroom door blind cover upstairs and on wall in downstairs bedroom and yard had various litter. Overall communication A+ even through holiday. Some areas to improve but overall good stay, would come again!! Rec center great as well and very nice people!!

The cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. A cozy home, great bedrooms, we loved it! We lacked some kitchen items as blender and kitchen towel, but nothing that affected our stay. We really recommend it!

My wife and I had a great stay here. We wanted a simple getaway from the hustle and bustle of DC and this was exactly it. We were glad to find a property that not only allowed dogs but had a fenced in yard. It made the experience so much more relaxing allowing the dogs to run care free while we took in the nature from the backyard. Property sits in a quiet area with plenty of wildlife in the morning hours to watch. Definitely recommend and would return. For dog goers, the yard is secure and big enough for 2 dogs to get some fetch in, but if you’re looking for massive running space, you’ll likely be disappointed. Still enjoyable all around!

This place was beautiful to visit during the fall . The home was beautiful and it was perfect for our family of 8 to get away and enjoy the outdoors . We loved having access to the sports complex to swim and play pickle ball . We will always book with Tony and blue ridge . So many options to pick from . The kids loved to ride their bikes on the quiet street . The kitchen was my dream kitchen . So much work space . The beds were comfy !! We all slept great ! The location was quiet and we even saw some deer .

We chose this location because we wanted to visit Berkeley Springs, WV and we travel w/2 large dogs. It was an easy 20 minute drive to town. There is a fenced area but isn’t accessible from the deck. U have to walk around the side yard. The community where the home is located is very lovely, semi-private and walkable and many homes had dogs. Seemed to be both seasonal and permanent homes. There is club house about 1/2 mile from the home and Tony provided free passes. All in all, I was very satisfied and do recommend staying here. If u r willing to drive, there r several state/national parks within approximately 1 hr drive.

We were looking for a place where we could bring our dogs and go away to relax for a few days. This house was perfect. A nice quiet neighborhood, clean and comfortable home with large windows, a deck, fenced in yard (although no direct access from the house), and a hot tub. We definitely recommend this house and nearby Big Goats Ice Cream & Hot Dog Shack.

Our family of six (plus dog) really enjoyed our stay. Having the guest passes to the sports center and pools were key and the golfing rates were reasonable for part of our group to spend a morning on the course. We also managed to hike to Devil's Nose in the Sleepy Creek Wilderness which features a beautiful creek crossing as well as a nice view at the top.
We'd love to come back to the area and knowing that the indoor sports center is available in any weather is a great benefit.

This house is located in a large lot neighborhood. While you can see the houses next to it, it still had that private feel to it. When we pulled up there were about 5 deer walking around. The house was easy to get into and it was immaculate. Instructions were very clear and contained all the information that we needed. The hot tub was a nice touch and felt nice after being on the road most of the day. We brought our dog and it was very nice to have a fenced in backyard so he could get some exercise. Toni was very responsive and answered any questions we had in a very timely manor. Highly recommend and would stay with them again.

Felt the checkout time was too early (10AM) as the check in time is at 4:00 PM.
The Kitchen was fully loaded.

The cabin is very modern and beautiful, everything is extremely organized and clean, and tony is a great host , very responsive and willing to help, the only issue was the heat , there were two A/C units but they are not strong enough the cabin felt like a dry sauna, we were sweating all day, I contacted tony and fortunately he had a fan in the closet for us which made it a little better but still extremely hot, the other point that i like to point out is you will not feel like you are deep in the woods , it was more like my hometown community in Virginia, if you are looking for a nature isolated experience you probably won’t be satisfied with this location.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at Tony’s place. The area is private and quiet. At night, it gets really dark and during the day you do see deers in the area. The drive to the cabin was interesting and fun with all the turns making it feel like we were in a movie. If you’re looking for a woodsy atmosphere, I definitely recommend booking with Tony!

Beautiful cabin in the woods at a reasonable price in a nice location. Also, the access to the private tennis courts and pool was a major plus. We will be staying here again in the future for a quick retreat to the mountains.

This place was amazing with beautiful surroundings and peaceful sounds! We had deer in the backyard when we drove up to the house!! It was perfect for taking my adult children for a weekend. The hot tub was perfect after shopping and hiking. I also liked the washer and dryer. I threw our towels in the wash so they would be clean in the morning. If you are thinking of renting the place do it! I would totally rent from Tony again! The only thing I would do differently would be to bring beach towels for the hot tub instead of using our bath towels. Sadly, we didn't use the fire pit because it rained but it looked like it would be a great place for s'mores.

Words cannot describe my experience. We booked last minute as our initial spring break plans fell through so finding an affordable place only and hour 1/2 drive from home felt like an impossible task but we somehow stumbled across this gem hidden in the woods and couldn’t have been happier. It was spacious, 15 mins drive from groceries and most of all private giving us much needed peace and quiet from our normal city dwelling. Will recommend and book another stay soon.

this is my 3rd time staying at a cabin hosted by Tony, he is an exceptional host. the kitchen was beyond stocked with anything you'd need to cook large meals. his response time is amazing, the power went out for a few hours in the area and he kept updating me on the estimated time it would be back on. my only complaint was that the hot tub had an insane amount of chlorine in it making it unusable the first night. the second night it balanced out and was able to be used. I would definitely recommend any of Tony's cabins

We had an amazing time staying here. Our dogs loved having the Fenston backyard as well. The house was way bigger than what we needed for just the two of us but it worked out perfectly as we had a lot of rain during our visit so we spent a lot of time there! Just as a heads up if you are bringing your pup with you, the house right up the road has a ton of off leash dogs, so I would not advise walking your pup around the neighborhood. the host was super helpful and super responsive and was absolutely a joy to work with. We look forward to booking other properties with them!

This was the third one of Tony’s properties I’ve stayed at and each one is better than the next. Tony is a great communicator and always responded within a few minutes. The home was close enough to activities, but in the wood enough that it was peaceful!! We are already planning our next trip!

We had a great time at the cabin, it was very peaceful and had everything I looked for (wi-fi, fireplace, hot tub). Tony is a wonderful host and responds right away. I’ve seen some negative reviews before I booked, but one thing to keep in mind is that it is a cabin and not a 5 star hotel. You will find imperfection, but this should be expected in the cabin in the woods. The value was great, I definitely recommend this place and will be back. What I specifically liked is that cabin is just off the road so you don’t need SUV to get to it. Thanks Tony!

This Airbnb was an absolute delight! Tony’s responsiveness was beyond exceptional…making him a real “Super host”. From the moment I booked until the end of my stay, he was incredibly attentive and responsive…I truly appreciated his dedication to ensuring a wonderful stay.
The cabin is exactly as described. Comfortable beds, very clean and great amenities…including the very hot & clean hot tub (no fear of warm bath water here), hotel like plush towels and a large wood burning fireplace. The bathroom showers offer great water pressure and sufficient hot water too!
Bring what you need for the first night and venture out the next day for last minute needs or to explore the area. It’s not at all far from anything you need… including great hiking trails just minutes away, groceries, beer/wine or firewood.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking a host who goes above and beyond and would like a quiet & relaxing getaway in a well appointed cabin.

The cabin in Hedgesville was private and served as a relaxing getaway for my husband and I. It looked like the pictures and was very well equipped. Tony's communication throughout was very helpful! Although it was just the two of us, there were a lot more beds and space available that would also make it great for a family. It is very secluded which was mentioned and provided a cozy place for us to unwind. There was some conflicting information in the provided house manual - listing several restaurants as "about 5 minutes from our place", but they were actually in a neighboring town that was 20+ minutes away. It wasn't a deal breaker for us, but could be helpful to know if you don't plan to cook much at the cabin. We visited the Canary Grill in Berkeley Springs (20-25 min.) for dinner one evening and went to Brix 27 (delicious) in Martinsburg (also about 25 min.) another night. Overall, it was a nice stay for us and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to "get away from it all"!

I can’t say enough wonderful things. The home is perfect and exactly what we were looking for. We got to add an additional day to our trip and Tony was very responsive and accommodating. We had a fantastic time making s’mores in the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub. Location is remote and peaceful with grocery and restaurants nearby. All sightseeing spots are an easy drive with beautiful scenery and the folks we interacted with were so sweet and kind. On our last night it was a cool fall night and we celebrated with a warm fire in the fireplace and scary movie and popcorn. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation just wish it could have lasted longer!

We booked this place based on the description on the website: "We also have access to a private lake -- with a sand beach and large dock -- just outside the resort, about a 7 minute drive from the cabin. It’s open year round for fishing (we’ve caught bluegills, bass, and catfish), and in the summer is great for a swim!"
Despite direct communication with the host about this lake, the communication was not clear and when we arrived there was no private lake nearby - only Sleep Creek Lake, which was much father than 7 minutes, with the last miles of travel being on pot-hole filled dirt/stone roads. The lake was much too rustic for kids to fish easily without going out on a boat of some sort, which we didn't have. And, there was no swimming. Aside from this disappointing incongruity, we enjoyed the AC, hot tub, and campfire. We also drove 45 min. to Cacapon State Park, which was nice - just farther than we had anticipated traveling for water fun.
