Went for a girls weekend with my sisters and this house was exactly what we had hoped for! The house was accurately described and kept the four of us comfortably. Far enough from town that we could enjoy some quiet but close enough that a grocery run or a little small town shopping didn’t feel like a major task. There are other houses you can see so it wasn’t as secluded as we had thought it would be but it was still very quiet and peaceful.
Tony was a wonderful host! He answered all of our questions prior to arriving and was available if we needed him during our trip. I never had to wait for a response!
Overall this was a perfect place for us and we’re looking forward to booking again in the future!

We had a lot of fun at Tony’s place! He described how to get there well and it was easy to navigate. I did not realize most shops and restaurants downtown are only open Thurs-Sun but that was of no fault of the host. There were not enough towels provided for the three of us, so I would definitely make sure to bring your own. The WiFi did not work the entire time we were there, therefore no TV but it wasn’t the reason we went so it was a minor inconvenience. I’d suggest bringing cards and games as there were no full sets of anything at the house. The water color was a bit funky in the hot tub but it smelled clean and treated so it may just be the matter of the well water, not sure.

The location was nice and relaxing. However, we asked for the check-in code several hours before we arrived but received it only minutes before the listed check-in time. We were unable to use the hot tub the first night because of the time it took to heat up, and we were never able to find the remote for the television. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great, so we had to use our hotspot to stream movies. There was nothing left to use to start a fire in the woodstove or the firepit, and I don’t believe the listing said to bring your own lighter. While the home appeared clean on the surface, there was hair and dirt in the corners and on the floors. Overall a decent place to stay, but we wouldn’t recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay for a quick getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our fur babies. Tony was a very responsive and accommodating host. We were able to change our dates seamlessly due to a last minute hiccup on our end. The place was cozy and clean and would definitely come back and visit again soon! Went with a group of friends for a Labor Day weekend getaway (5 adults and 1 small dog). The 2 days/3 nights we stayed at Tony’s airbnb were great! Tony was responsive and proactive from the moment we booked, to the morning we left.
This little spot is in a quiet and private community with access to a cute town only a 15-20 minute drive away and Cacapon State Park only 10 minutes away! Ridge Trail was a nice morning hike.
The house is small but felt right sized for our group. The fire pit, grill, and hot tub were the crowd favorites. Overall a really fun and relaxing weekend, would definitely book another trip with Tony’s team again.

We loved our time at this cabin! Our group consisted of four adults, a child under the age of five, one large dog, one medium dog, and one small dog. The cabin was very clean and well put together. It was a little small for our group – I wouldn’t have wanted to have any more people or animals with us. However, we spent so much time outside we barely noticed. The cabin is about a twenty five minute drive from Berkeley Springs, and just about twelve minutes from Cacapon State Resort Park. Highly recommend the ‘beach’ at Cacapon Resort ($6 per person, cash at the entrance or card at the lodge), as well as dinner at Berkeley Springs Brewing Company (less than twenty minutes from the cabin) and the springs and pool in downtown Berkeley Springs. We also spent every night sitting around the firepit, which was directly in front of the cabin in the woods. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Tony’s place was very clean, and very comfortable! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook at the house, there’s a dishwasher and dish detergent for easy clean up, a washer and dryer with laundry detergent so we could keep our towels and clothes clean, and the hot tub was a great way to wake up early and watch the sunrise. The property is beautiful, the neighborhood is peaceful, and we learned pretty quickly how to get to and from town. We really enjoyed Berkeley Springs, and will likely return for another visit in a different season, and we will definitely try to book this home again!

Our biggest issue is that it was listed as 3 bedrooms but one bedroom didn’t have a door and was basically the laundry room. The bunk beds did not have top sheets, which feels a little dirty unless they are washing their comforters after every stay, which I guess is possible. It was fine, but not sure it was what we expected based on photos and description.

We just returned from a lovely overnight at the cabin. It was super clean and cozy. It was a perfect spot for a small group and a dog. There’s a lovely pasture behind the property which our dog enjoy running around, and pond down the road which our toddler loved. I took away one star in my rating because the kitchen lacked a few essentials such as a cutting board and wine glasses. Also, the 4pm check-in time and 10am check-out time felt limiting. IMHO all properties should have 3pm check-in and 11am check-out. Aside from that, the cabin was great!

Our stay in Berkeley Springs at Tony’s cabin was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Tony did a GREAT job of communicating with us up to and during our entire stay. The cabin description matched perfectly! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this cabin and Tony as a host to anyone looking for quiet seclusion and natural beauty with the perfect mix of rustic feel and modern comfort!

Great place as described, the pond is walking distance for fishing or to have a picnic. Clean linen and towels , the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of kitchenware to cook, even kids’ dinnerware, clean fridge. My kids enjoyed a box with family games. The hot tub was the cherry on top it was nice and warm and clean. Tony was very responsive and in communication.The manual is very detailed so you won’tmiss anything. wifi was not working 🙁 meaning no TV during the whole stay so make sure if you are traveling with kids, download movies on your computer or tablet. we would definitely stay again and we had a very nice quiet family time.

Everything went smoothly with checkin but unfortunately the wifi was out for the entirety of our stay. They did somewhat compensate for our troubles but the plan for the weekend was to watch movies and stay inside and watching movies was impossible without wifi. It also took them an entire day to tell us that we would not have wifi for the rest of the weekend and at that point it wasn’t worth purchasing a DVD player or anything. The beds were also very uncomfortable. Lastly there is not enough seating in the living room for 3 people and a pet to fit comfortably, let alone 7 people like the listing states is maximum capacity. The cabin is quite small so I am not sure how any more than 3 adults can coexist there comfortably. The scenery is quite beautiful and the hot tub was amazing at night. I just wish for the price it was bigger and had less issues.

Everything was really nice and what we expected for the most part! The home was a little smaller than we expected but perfect for the two of us or a small family! The home was “off the beaten path” and very private. Definitely would suggest an SUV or truck getting out there because of the road work though! We didn’t get a chance to use the wood stove but it was certainly a great addition as well for the colder months. Everything was well kept and clean and we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking with Tony in the future!
The only issue we had was if you’re depending on wifi for service or if you’re depending on it for work while away. It is satellite which happens though especially out in West Virginia. Tony was great though! He was very responsive before booking and during our stay to try and get it resolved.

We had a lovely time at this comfortable, pet friendly woodsy spot. Cabin was as expected and then some. Close to Cacapon and Berkeley Springs, we went to the beach, took in some views and soaked in the baths. The community fishing pond was great, caught a few nice bass. We really enjoyed the deck! and the abundant wildlife (deer and turkeys). So quiet.

Had a great visit with my family to this cabin in the woods! Highly recommend if you are looking to get away to relax and recharge. Tony was super responsive during pre-booking as well as during my stay! The house manual shared has instructions for anything you’d need in the house and surrounding area.
Worth noting that you are about 25 min from the main street and grocery stores. We brought our food with and used the grill (worked great!). Fire pit and hot tub were awesome.
House was spotless at check-in and wifi worked great. I’d highly recommend.

The town of Berkeley Springs had many cool places to enjoy – do note that it is a bit of a drive to get to any civilization, but we were okay with that!

The little Sparrow cabin was a perfect getaway! Tucked back in the woods, with a hot tub and fire pit, the cabin was cozy and clean. We found plenty of things to do in the town of Berkeley Springs. We especially loved the Cacapon State Park and Nature Center, Berkeley Springs Brewery and all of the cute shops on the Main Street.
Tony was an excellent host who checked in with us and gave recommendations for the area.
I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Lovely place with everything we needed in the kitchen. Very nicely decorated. Hot tub was easy to use and nice and warm when we arrived!
From looking at reviews I had been worried that it would be cold unless we brought firewood, but it was warm enough for us without using the wood stove. The person who slept in the open bunk bed area was a bit chilly at night but she likes things warmer and so we should have changed places because the bedrooms were super warm.
If you are going to want to hang out with more than 3 people, there’s not a ton of indoor space for that.

Truly the getaway we needed to start 2023 off right. The location is pretty secluded hidden in its own little Forrest. Being able to start a wooded fire added to the coziness of the home. The town close by Berkeley Springs has such an incredible little town. The coffee shop Fairfax coffee was the best stop in the morning. Ps the homemade scratch biscuits were like right out of grandma’s kitchen. Hope to come back to visit again. Thanks you so much for opening your home.

this is a great place to stay. it’s got two bedrooms and another area with two bunk beds so six people could stay here comfortably and I think the couch flips out into a bed as well. everything was neat and clean and the hot tub was fantastic. this is a great place to go for the price. Tony is very attentive to your needs and he will text you right back and he’s very helpful with recommending places to go and things to do in the surrounding areas. had a fantastic time and I will definitely be back!!

I would only note that the neighbors were relatively close. I had been hoping that we would have been a bit more isolated, but honestly it may have been my own fault for not looking carefully enough at the listing.
Regardless, we had a great stay and would be happy to recommend the cabin to others!

There is a lot of attention to detail you can appreciate at the cabin- it was super clean, smelled fantastic, and the decor made it such a relaxing and welcoming space. The hot tub worked well and Tony provides clear instructions for how to use it. The entire house manual he sends is chock full of helpful to answer any potential questions you may have- it also includes good recommendations for the area such as Capacon State Park, Charlotte’s Cafe, and Berkeley Springs Brewing Co. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay, but the cabin would also be great for families or a group of a few friends to fully make use of all of the amenities (hot tub, fire pit, outdoor grill, deck, lawn games.)
The cabin is right in the woods, which is really nice, but be prepared for some narrow and graveled roads to reach it. My old Camry did perfectly fine though.

We had a nice stay here. The hot tub and fire pit were great to have. The space is very small so if you don't get good weather just be aware of that. We had gorgeous weather so it wasn't an issue!

We had a wonderful stay for a quick getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our fur babies. Tony was a very responsive and accommodating host. We were able to change our dates seamlessly due to a last minute hiccup on our end. The place was cozy and clean and would definitely come back and visit again soon! Went with a group of friends for a Labor Day weekend getaway (5 adults and 1 small dog). The 2 days/3 nights we stayed at Tony’s airbnb were great! Tony was responsive and proactive from the moment we booked, to the morning we left.
This little spot is in a quiet and private community with access to a cute town only a 15-20 minute drive away and Cacapon State Park only 10 minutes away! Ridge Trail was a nice morning hike.
The house is small but felt right sized for our group. The fire pit, grill, and hot tub were the crowd favorites. Overall a really fun and relaxing weekend, would definitely book another trip with Tony’s team again.

We loved our time at this cabin! Our group consisted of four adults, a child under the age of five, one large dog, one medium dog, and one small dog. The cabin was very clean and well put together. It was a little small for our group - I wouldn't have wanted to have any more people or animals with us. However, we spent so much time outside we barely noticed. The cabin is about a twenty five minute drive from Berkeley Springs, and just about twelve minutes from Cacapon State Resort Park. Highly recommend the 'beach' at Cacapon Resort ($6 per person, cash at the entrance or card at the lodge), as well as dinner at Berkeley Springs Brewing Company (less than twenty minutes from the cabin) and the springs and pool in downtown Berkeley Springs. We also spent every night sitting around the firepit, which was directly in front of the cabin in the woods. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Tony’s place was very clean, and very comfortable! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook at the house, there’s a dishwasher and dish detergent for easy clean up, a washer and dryer with laundry detergent so we could keep our towels and clothes clean, and the hot tub was a great way to wake up early and watch the sunrise. The property is beautiful, the neighborhood is peaceful, and we learned pretty quickly how to get to and from town. We really enjoyed Berkeley Springs, and will likely return for another visit in a different season, and we will definitely try to book this home again!

Our biggest issue is that it was listed as 3 bedrooms but one bedroom didn’t have a door and was basically the laundry room. The bunk beds did not have top sheets, which feels a little dirty unless they are washing their comforters after every stay, which I guess is possible. It was fine, but not sure it was what we expected based on photos and description.

We just returned from a lovely overnight at the cabin. It was super clean and cozy. It was a perfect spot for a small group and a dog. There’s a lovely pasture behind the property which our dog enjoy running around, and pond down the road which our toddler loved. I took away one star in my rating because the kitchen lacked a few essentials such as a cutting board and wine glasses. Also, the 4pm check-in time and 10am check-out time felt limiting. IMHO all properties should have 3pm check-in and 11am check-out. Aside from that, the cabin was great!

Our stay in Berkeley Springs at Tony's cabin was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Tony did a GREAT job of communicating with us up to and during our entire stay. The cabin description matched perfectly! Great place as described, the pond is walking distance for fishing or to have a picnic. Clean linen and towels , the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of kitchenware to cook, even kids' dinnerware, clean fridge. My kids enjoyed a box with family games. The hot tub was the cherry on top it was nice and warm and clean. Tony was very responsive and in communication.The manual is very detailed so you won'tmiss anything. wifi was not working 🙁 meaning no TV during the whole stay so make sure if you are traveling with kids, download movies on your computer or tablet. we would definitely stay again and we had a very nice quiet family time.

Everything went smoothly with checkin but unfortunately the wifi was out for the entirety of our stay. They did somewhat compensate for our troubles but the plan for the weekend was to watch movies and stay inside and watching movies was impossible without wifi. It also took them an entire day to tell us that we would not have wifi for the rest of the weekend and at that point it wasn’t worth purchasing a DVD player or anything. The beds were also very uncomfortable. Lastly there is not enough seating in the living room for 3 people and a pet to fit comfortably, let alone 7 people like the listing states is maximum capacity. The cabin is quite small so I am not sure how any more than 3 adults can coexist there comfortably. The scenery is quite beautiful and the hot tub was amazing at night. I just wish for the price it was bigger and had less issues.

Everything was really nice and what we expected for the most part! The home was a little smaller than we expected but perfect for the two of us or a small family! The home was “off the beaten path” and very private. Definitely would suggest an SUV or truck getting out there because of the road work though! We didn’t get a chance to use the wood stove but it was certainly a great addition as well for the colder months. Everything was well kept and clean and we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking with Tony in the future!
The only issue we had was if you’re depending on wifi for service or if you’re depending on it for work while away. It is satellite which happens though especially out in West Virginia. Tony was great though! He was very responsive before booking and during our stay to try and get it resolved.

We had a lovely time at this comfortable, pet friendly woodsy spot. Cabin was as expected and then some. Close to Cacapon and Berkeley Springs, we went to the beach, took in some views and soaked in the baths. The community fishing pond was great, caught a few nice bass. We really enjoyed the deck! and the abundant wildlife (deer and turkeys). So quiet.

Beautiful fire pit, lots of rooms and a good kitchen, a great bbq, and although we didn’t use the hot tub, it would have been perfect with colder weather. A great stay!

This is a perfect cabin for family getaway. Such beautiful surroundings and great amenities. The hot tub is my favorite part and a must try! (Tony kept it clean and with chemicals so it’s safe to use.) The house is cozy with a lot of games so the group can have fun. The pound is beautiful and I caught my first fish there! Tony is a responsive and friendly host I would recommend to everyone:)

Had a great visit with my family to this cabin in the woods! Highly recommend if you are looking to get away to relax and recharge. Tony was super responsive during pre-booking as well as during my stay! The house manual shared has instructions for anything you'd need in the house and surrounding area.
Worth noting that you are about 25 min from the main street and grocery stores. We brought our food with and used the grill (worked great!). Fire pit and hot tub were awesome.
House was spotless at check-in and wifi worked great. I'd highly recommend.

We had a great time at Tony's place. Tony was prompt with communication, the property is beautiful, and the amenities were enjoyed.
We loved being able to use the hot tub, the games, and the grill. The cabin is located in a very remote area which made it easy to relax and unwind.
The town of Berkeley Springs had many cool places to enjoy - do note that it is a bit of a drive to get to any civilization, but we were okay with that!

The little Sparrow cabin was a perfect getaway! Tucked back in the woods, with a hot tub and fire pit, the cabin was cozy and clean. We found plenty of things to do in the town of Berkeley Springs. We especially loved the Cacapon State Park and Nature Center, Berkeley Springs Brewery and all of the cute shops on the Main Street.
Tony was an excellent host who checked in with us and gave recommendations for the area.
I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Lovely place with everything we needed in the kitchen. Very nicely decorated. Hot tub was easy to use and nice and warm when we arrived!
From looking at reviews I had been worried that it would be cold unless we brought firewood, but it was warm enough for us without using the wood stove. The person who slept in the open bunk bed area was a bit chilly at night but she likes things warmer and so we should have changed places because the bedrooms were super warm.
If you are going to want to hang out with more than 3 people, there’s not a ton of indoor space for that.

Truly the getaway we needed to start 2023 off right. The location is pretty secluded hidden in its own little Forrest. Being able to start a wooded fire added to the coziness of the home. The town close by Berkeley Springs has such an incredible little town. The coffee shop Fairfax coffee was the best stop in the morning. Ps the homemade scratch biscuits were like right out of grandma’s kitchen. Hope to come back to visit again. Thanks you so much for opening your home.

this is a great place to stay. it's got two bedrooms and another area with two bunk beds so six people could stay here comfortably and I think the couch flips out into a bed as well. everything was neat and clean and the hot tub was fantastic. this is a great place to go for the price. Tony is very attentive to your needs and he will text you right back and he's very helpful with recommending places to go and things to do in the surrounding areas. had a fantastic time and I will definitely be back!!

The cabin was lovely and the hot tub was very relaxing! We were very happy with our stay! The cabin was exactly as described. Also, Tony was a kind and responsive host.
I would only note that the neighbors were relatively close. I had been hoping that we would have been a bit more isolated, but honestly it may have been my own fault for not looking carefully enough at the listing.
Regardless, we had a great stay and would be happy to recommend the cabin to others!

There is a lot of attention to detail you can appreciate at the cabin- it was super clean, smelled fantastic, and the decor made it such a relaxing and welcoming space. The hot tub worked well and Tony provides clear instructions for how to use it. The entire house manual he sends is chock full of helpful to answer any potential questions you may have- it also includes good recommendations for the area such as Capacon State Park, Charlotte’s Cafe, and Berkeley Springs Brewing Co. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay, but the cabin would also be great for families or a group of a few friends to fully make use of all of the amenities (hot tub, fire pit, outdoor grill, deck, lawn games.)
The cabin is right in the woods, which is really nice, but be prepared for some narrow and graveled roads to reach it. My old Camry did perfectly fine though.
