We loved our two days in the trees and being able to make a fire in the fireplace on a cold day! Thanks to these reviews, the house was pretty much what we expected. However, cell service is sketchy so we were disappointed that the Internet did not work.

For a cabin in the woods, close to Bryce Resort, it was perfect for the kids & our pet dog to visit and ski for the weekend. The fireplace was charming and nice to watch the snow come down on our 2nd day. Would recommend if looking for basic accommodations near Bryce Resort!

The place is well isolated, but still easily accessible. I stayed here for a day but was really worth it. We had an awesome time at this place. saw deer in the morning.

It was really great getaway! Everything was so smooth and Tony was very good at communication and making sure we were content. The hot water did not run to the upstairs bathroom (but it is okay we just used the shower downstairs and they said they are sending the handyman out now). Everything else was peaceful and as advertised. Thank you Tony for everything !!

Great for my bachelorette weekend with my brothers! The place was a tad bit outdated and a bit smaller than we thought but it wound up being perfect for what we needed. Super easy check in, had everything we needed and more, and Tony was super responsive. We were warned about the steepish hill which was fine and it was a great fishing trip all around. Thank you, Tony!

Nice area, the house looks a lot better in pictures than in person. Very cute tho.
Pros: very spacious, easy to find, close to a lot of places for activities, peaceful, quiet, nice gas grill on deck, huge deck. Beautiful fire pit with chairs.
Cons: bad smell in bathrooms, laundry machine very old and smelly. We didn’t even use it, Too dirty. Carpets are not very clean, lots of stains. Trash was left in bins from previous guest. This house has a lot of potential but needs a lot of attention. No ac in rooms downstairs, gets very hot.

The chalet was perfect for our gathering of four women. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings to relax, reminisce, and catch up with each others. Lake Laura and the surrounding area was beautiful. We had a great stay. Thank you

The cabin was so peaceful. We had a very relaxing stay. We visited Lake Laura which is a short drive and had a blast. Would definitely recommend.

The stay was so peaceful and the property was well curated. Only drawback was that service was pretty spotty in the home, however we weren’t too far from areas that rectified that.

Had a very nice trip going here. The cabin is in a nice and quiet remote location in a nice community. The road going up to the house was pretty cool. Once I got to the house, check in was extremely easy. All appliances and things needed to eat or get washed up were set up perfectly for us, and we overall had a really great time. Tony was an excellent host and made everything very easy for us. The house manual that he created was extremely useful and I was able to pinpoint everything I needed easily for checkout. The grill and outdoor section was very nice as well.

We really enjoyed our stay here — the host was great at communication and the home was beautiful. The house itself had privacy and beautiful surroundings without feeling too secluded. As someone who’s more of a “planner” I really appreciated being able to download the house manual in advance, knowing to save maps for offline use due to limited cell phone service, etc.
5 stars all the way. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Our stay was decent. The place was nice the biggest issue was that the place was not very clean. Stained towels, dirty kitchen (utensils & dishwasher) and trash found underneath the beds from previous guests, but Tony was a great host and understood that these issues needed to be addressed. Aside from cleanliness, one other thing was that the house would shake pretty frequently and can be noticeable when you are lying in bed which was a bit unsettling. Overall, regardless of the issues, we were able to enjoy our stay.

This was our first time traveling through Airbnb and it was an amazing trip! We had a blast our first time in Virginia and will definitely be coming back. The views were beautiful and the local area had plenty to do for the week.

Great stay! Will definitely consider staying here again and will be on the lookout for Tony’s other listings. Very friendly and responsive host. He proactively communicated with me and he was also very quick to reply when I had questions. The drive to Bryce Resort is quick and easy. Definitely abide the 4wd tip if expecting snow. During our stay only a small snowfall occurred. I drive a truck w 4wd. It was apparent that even a few inches of snow could present challenges for a vehicle without AWD/4wd.
