We stayed during a winter storm in Jan 2026 and Tony and his team were very proactive about our safety and comfort. It was an excellent stay and we really enjoyed ourselves.
However, the team clearly did not know the property. First, they had confirmed over messaging that the property had a bath tub in the bathroom, while there was just a shower. Second, their snow plow guy had plowed the neighbor’s driveway and the team couldn’t tell it was the wrong driveway from the picture. Also, the property requires some maintenance, especially the heating, and the pictures made it seem more isolated than it was.
Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The amenities provided were good and thorough. Thanks again Tony and team.

We stayed here and loved it! Great place with two bedrooms. One was lofted and the other more private/downstairs. Beautiful surroundings but close enough to local amenities and restaurants. We loved the wood burning stove and hot tub. Very clean.

Although very peaceful and cute this place did lack some things Im used to in my experience with airbnbs. There was a marked shortage in blankets only 1 thin blanket per bed, we were missing the hot tub towels, there was 1 bath towel per adult so I had to share with my baby, and I was inconvenienced by 2n1 shampoo and conditioner – typically in a pinch you can shave with conditioner but it was more difficult since I was not expecting 2n1 shampoo to be all that was available. that being said the place is cute and tucked away we were just cold as it is the turn of the season where the blankets provided were probably okay before when it was warmer and I’m just used to being provided extra amenities just in case and our stay provided only what you have to have in my opinion.

Tony was such a nice and helpful host, always responding quickly to any questions we had. The cabin itself is super cute and surrounded by a beautiful forest — we even spotted deer a few times! It’s truly the perfect place for a couple, and we’re already thinking about coming back sometime.

Our stay was at the Chalet Cabin was relaxing and cozy. Tony was very responsive and helpful with recommendations for food/fun around the chalet. The chalet was cleaned well before our arrival. The hot tub was very nice to use and wind down in after our days. Overall the chalet was a good place to stay and Tony was a great host!

This wasn’t the original home we booked so it was a last minute swap due to the first home not having a fire pit. It didn’t quite meet the expectations we had but was a perfect little cabin for a getaway weekend. Some minor issues but Tony was responsive and hopefully will be corrected for the next stay.

Great place to stay in the woods! Loved the space, the variety of cookware, and the excellent outdoor area. The home is well equipped for cooking or grilling, with beautiful views of greenery from inside. 🙂 The hot tub light wasn’t working properly, and some of the towels had bleach stains, but these were minor issues. Overall, an excellent spot to get away, relax in the hot tub, and enjoy the surroundings!

The cabin itself was wonderful: cozy, clean overall, and the perfect little escape in nature. I’m giving 5 stars because the place truly deserves it. That being said, I do want to raise an issue that seems to be happening more and more often on Airbnb: the check-in and check-out times. Having check-in at 4pm and check-out at 10am really cuts into the experience. When you’re paying to stay, you should actually have enough time to enjoy the place but in reality, for a one-night stay, you barely get to settle in before it’s time to leave. We even asked if we could check in just a little earlier (and were willing to pay), but it wasn’t accommodated. I think hosts are starting to push this too far, and it takes away from the value of the stay.
Also, a small note on cleanliness: there were cobwebs in the bedroom, especially on the lamps. I understand it’s in nature, but that’s something that should be taken care of before guests arrive, especially when you say you need 6 hours for cleaning.

Great place, was especially clean and Tony is a very responsive and understanding host. The house was clean and the surroundings are truly so pretty, it felt very safe and overall was peaceful with some deer even coming right up to the driveway! I had a lot of fun at this house and I owe a lot of it to Tony and his team keeping the place super clean and also being so responsive that I really had nothing to stress about during my stay.

If you’re looking for a rustic peaceful cabin in the woods, this is your place. The home was clean and comfortable though we saw cobwebs in the corners and on hard to reach areas.
You can see the neighbors but still have plenty of privacy. You’re NOT totally remote or secluded which we liked.
Beds and pillows were comfortable (new condition). Hot tub was fantastic and the outside fire pit was great! Wifi worked very well. Food delivery, restaurants, etc were 15-30min away so bringing food/drinks to the cabin was a must. We saw deer in the yard every day!

Tony’s place was perfect for my cabin getaway with my husband and my dog! His home had everything we needed, and it was very easy to find. It was cozy and clean, and close to great hiking spots. We also had to work remotely one of the days we were there, and the WiFi was fast and worked well. Tony was great at communicating all the necessary information with us and also provided a helpful house manual. We loved this place and we will definitely be back!

Overall it was good. Rented at last minute so maybe some of the issues would have been taken care of with more notice. The house was clean but not clean clean. There were bugs and spider webs all over. The hot tub had those brown bubbles come once we got in. Straight away. And depending on what you’re looking for this house is very remote. Closest restaurant we could find was 30 min drive

Our stay was wonderful—the space was clean and comfortable, the natural light was so lovely, and we really enjoyed getting some sun on the deck and using the hot tub on the screened porch. The screened in porch and hot tub was the main reason of this air bnb stay! Perfect for after hiking! Not as private as I wanted BUT all neighbors were pretty friendly and quiet. Tony was very quick to respond to anything we needed. Would definitely stay again!! Thanks again for everything Tony!

Had a great time staying at Tony’s place. It looked exactly like the pictures, we had a bit of difficulty finding it as we drove in at night and the cabin was a bit hidden but Tony was super helpful and easy to communicate with. The place itself was clean however some of the utensils and glassware seemed like they weren’t washed but it was nothing a quick rinse couldn’t fix. Overall definitely recommend!

You have to haul your trash away with you , which is common for a cabin in the woods, but I could see that being a problem if you had more than one bag of trash to take with you. About 30mins from Berkeley Springs Brewery. Would stay again.

I absolutely loved my stay here and am already looking for weekends when I can come back. I came for my birthday weekend and it truly was a relaxing escape. We brought some of our own groceries, but did pop into Berkeley Springs for a few things.
And just so you know….multiple places deliver on DoorDash when you just don’t want to go out.
It was just the two of us so we didn’t even need to use the second floor. All in all, this place was a dream and I hope to be back sometimes this year.

A great place that is affordable and just what you need! Shower water stays hot and the bed is comfortable! Climate controlled room with a mini fridge and even face masks upon arrival! We felt refreshed after our stay here, very close to multiple restaurants!

This cabin was a great stay for a four day weekend. It was clean and comfortable and the screen enclosed porch was a perfect place to enjoy the hot tub while it snowed. The house manual was so detail oriented, it answered questions before we could even ask them. Tony was super responsive and even check in on us the day after we checked in to make sure we didn’t have any problems and to ask if we needed any recommendations.

Thermostat was difficult to judge, no temps on wall mount. Would be very cold or very hot. Base floor heating was very dated. Taking trash to different location was a pain but all and all a great price point for distance to things to do. Easy to find, good WiFi, hot tub location very convenient! DoorDash available too which is a nice surprise for how remote it seems!

This was a great, homey cabin! I liked that there were options- there was a fire pit, a covered porch and an outdoor deck so no matter the weather, you can enjoy the outdoors. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and very clean and cozy! The only thing that could have used some extra love was the hot tub, but overall nothing to worry about! Some restaurant recommendations should be updated on the manual as some places have closed too. Tony was very kind, always answered quickly and reached out to make sure our stay was going smoothly! We came here for a much needed friend’s getaway and had a wonderful time! The cabin was adorable and although we weren’t able to make use of the outdoor fire pit due to rain, we were nice and cozy inside (watched movies, made use of the hot tub, read and talked). The inside is nicely updated, although a few original features remained, such as wood paneling and light switches. There isn’t much to do around the area, but that was just fine for us as we really just wanted time to unwind and catch up with one another.
Only a couple notes; It was a little hard to find the cabin driveway as we arrived at night and the cabin number by the road didn’t reflect very well from the street. It would have also been nice to have a couple more towels; those things were very minor to us though and we had a great stay. Tony was great about checking in, making recommendations and very speedy responding to texts. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Tony was an awesome host! He checked in with us to make sure we safely arrived as we were driving down from a pretty bad storm. He also gave us plenty of recommendations for places to visit in the area/restaurants. Also made sure everything was to our satisfaction, which it definitely was! The place was beautiful and very clean! Hot tub was amazing! The lighting outside by the fire pit is a plus as well! We had an incredible stay at this secluded home in the woods of West Virginia. If you’re looking for privacy and tranquility, this is the perfect spot. The home is nestled deep in the greenery, offering complete privacy and a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hot tub. After a day of hiking and exploring the beautiful surrounding nature, soaking was an absolute treat. The home itself was cozy, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. We especially appreciated the fully-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and the thoughtful touches throughout the space.
The hosts were fantastic, providing clear and responsive and answers made sure. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the woods. We’ll definitely be returning!

The home itself was very cozy and very well taken care of. We had no issues with the home and its amenities. I would definitely consider this cabin again if I wanted to do another weekend get away in West Virginia.

We are city dwellers and wanted a relaxing getaway for the long weekend. Tony’s place worked out very well for us. It was cozy, relaxing and there was plenty to do for both the adults and the kids. The backyard was a hit amongst the family members, and we spent our mornings and evenings relaxing on the red chairs (as shown in pics). Other things that made our stay comfortable included – good kitchen amenities, the hot tub, the grill, and TV for a late night movie before winding down. This place is around half an hour from Berkeley springs and Cacapon State Park, both worth visiting. Tony, as a host was phenomenal, very responsive, proactive and gave good recommendations for lunch and dinner. Overall, it was a good getaway/break for the family. Thank you to Tony and Team.

That being said, I do want to raise an issue that seems to be happening more and more often on Airbnb: the check-in and check-out times. Having check-in at 4pm and check-out at 10am really cuts into the experience. When you’re paying to stay, you should actually have enough time to enjoy the place but in reality, for a one-night stay, you barely get to settle in before it’s time to leave. We even asked if we could check in just a little earlier (and were willing to pay), but it wasn’t accommodated. I think hosts are starting to push this too far, and it takes away from the value of the stay.
Also, a small note on cleanliness: there were cobwebs in the bedroom, especially on the lamps. I understand it’s in nature, but that’s something that should be taken care of before guests arrive, especially when you say you need 6 hours for cleaning.

Great place, was especially clean and Tony is a very responsive and understanding host. The house was clean and the surroundings are truly so pretty, it felt very safe and overall was peaceful with some deer even coming right up to the driveway! I had a lot of fun at this house and I owe a lot of it to Tony and his team keeping the place super clean and also being so responsive that I really had nothing to stress about during my stay.

If you're looking for a rustic peaceful cabin in the woods, this is your place. The home was clean and comfortable though we saw cobwebs in the corners and on hard to reach areas.
You can see the neighbors but still have plenty of privacy. You're NOT totally remote or secluded which we liked.
Beds and pillows were comfortable (new condition). Hot tub was fantastic and the outside fire pit was great! Wifi worked very well. Food delivery, restaurants, etc were 15-30min away so bringing food/drinks to the cabin was a must. We saw deer in the yard every day!

Perfect get away cabin in the woods. A little bit of cob webs and bugs inside but that is to be expected in the woods. Secluded area about 30 mins from any restaurants or shopping. Great golf course on site.

Tony’s place was okay. However, we had a bad experience getting into the property due to branches blocking both entrances. It is understandable that the host is not at fault. But, we had to wait outside for hours to get in and after two long hours of waiting for a handyman, my wife and I ended up jumping over the deck to get in the property. Nobody came to clean off the branches and didn’t even get an apology from the host. We had to stay in the property until the evening of the next day which messed up outdoor plans. Lastly, even after this inconvenience, I kindly requested the host for a bit later checkout which was denied and had to leave the property at 10 am although we had to check in unsafely hours later.

Tony’s place was perfect for my cabin getaway with my husband and my dog! His home had everything we needed, and it was very easy to find. It was cozy and clean, and close to great hiking spots. We also had to work remotely one of the days we were there, and the WiFi was fast and worked well. Tony was great at communicating all the necessary information with us and also provided a helpful house manual. We loved this place and we will definitely be back!

Overall it was good. Rented at last minute so maybe some of the issues would have been taken care of with more notice. The house was clean but not clean clean. There were bugs and spider webs all over. The hot tub had those brown bubbles come once we got in. Straight away. And depending on what you’re looking for this house is very remote. Closest restaurant we could find was 30 min drive

Had a great time staying at Tony's place. It looked exactly like the pictures, we had a bit of difficulty finding it as we drove in at night and the cabin was a bit hidden but Tony was super helpful and easy to communicate with. The place itself was clean however some of the utensils and glassware seemed like they weren't washed but it was nothing a quick rinse couldn't fix. Overall definitely recommend!

You have to haul your trash away with you , which is common for a cabin in the woods, but I could see that being a problem if you had more than one bag of trash to take with you. About 30mins from Berkeley Springs Brewery. Would stay again.

I absolutely loved my stay here and am already looking for weekends when I can come back. I came for my birthday weekend and it truly was a relaxing escape. We brought some of our own groceries, but did pop into Berkeley Springs for a few things.
And just so you know….multiple places deliver on DoorDash when you just don’t want to go out.
It was just the two of us so we didn’t even need to use the second floor. All in all, this place was a dream and I hope to be back sometimes this year.

A great place that is affordable and just what you need! Shower water stays hot and the bed is comfortable! Climate controlled room with a mini fridge and even face masks upon arrival! We felt refreshed after our stay here, very close to multiple restaurants!

This cabin was a great stay for a four day weekend. It was clean and comfortable and the screen enclosed porch was a perfect place to enjoy the hot tub while it snowed. The house manual was so detail oriented, it answered questions before we could even ask them. Tony was super responsive and even check in on us the day after we checked in to make sure we didn’t have any problems and to ask if we needed any recommendations.

Thermostat was difficult to judge, no temps on wall mount. Would be very cold or very hot. Base floor heating was very dated. Taking trash to different location was a pain but all and all a great price point for distance to things to do. Easy to find, good WiFi, hot tub location very convenient! DoorDash available too which is a nice surprise for how remote it seems!

The place was alright, and the location was great just 1.5 hours from DC. The rental company that manages the place is Blue Maple.
Lots of other houses around, so keep that in mind. The kitchen had the basics, and the hot tub was nice. However, the beds were rough. I should have packed my own pillows and maybe even a mattress topper, also one of the bed covers had some dog hair. The lighting was super dim, especially in the first floor bedroom where there was only a standing lamp. The bedroom in the upper floor doesnt have its own room so it shares the space with the living room in the first floor.
Talking to "Tony" felt a bit robotic. I asked him a few simple questions before we arrived, and all I got back were automated messages and greetings with no responses to my questions. Blue Maple needs to set up their AI better.
We paid over $1,200 for three nights, which felt a bit pricey for what we got. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but I was expecting a nicer place for the price.

Overall, gets the job done. The property was clean however my party and I found the photos to be misleading (almost like AI refined or something along those lines). This also made it difficult to find the cabin after the sun has gone down, especially considering the street number is knocked over. The property is also not as secluded and smaller than anticipated.

This was a great, homey cabin! I liked that there were options- there was a fire pit, a covered porch and an outdoor deck so no matter the weather, you can enjoy the outdoors. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and very clean and cozy! The only thing that could have used some extra love was the hot tub, but overall nothing to worry about! Some restaurant recommendations should be updated on the manual as some places have closed too. Tony was very kind, always answered quickly and reached out to make sure our stay was going smoothly! This was my first time using Air bnb and i was nervous, this cabin exceeded my expectations and made me more comfortable in booking future visits ! 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to escape the business of life!

After trying to find the place for 10 minutes we arrive at a house with a different front door and faded paint. We walk in and check our surroundings. We are greeted by a COCKROACH in the upstairs bedroom. We messaged the host and they did not acknowledge the presence of said cockroach. There are holes in the bathroom walls, the back yard fire pit was not cleaned up, the wood stove filled the house with smoke (flu open) and the smoke detectors do not work. THE BEDS ARE LIKE ROCKS!!! Ended up leaving early. I expressed the concerns to the host and was greeted with automated messages the next day. We spent over $1,000 for this weekend trip and it was by far the worst Airbnb we have stayed at.

We came here for a much needed friend’s getaway and had a wonderful time! The cabin was adorable and although we weren’t able to make use of the outdoor fire pit due to rain, we were nice and cozy inside (watched movies, made use of the hot tub, read and talked). The inside is nicely updated, although a few original features remained, such as wood paneling and light switches. There isn’t much to do around the area, but that was just fine for us as we really just wanted time to unwind and catch up with one another.
Only a couple notes; It was a little hard to find the cabin driveway as we arrived at night and the cabin number by the road didn’t reflect very well from the street. It would have also been nice to have a couple more towels; those things were very minor to us though and we had a great stay. Tony was great about checking in, making recommendations and very speedy responding to texts. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Tony was an awesome host! He checked in with us to make sure we safely arrived as we were driving down from a pretty bad storm. He also gave us plenty of recommendations for places to visit in the area/restaurants. Also made sure everything was to our satisfaction, which it definitely was! The place was beautiful and very clean! Hot tub was amazing! The lighting outside by the fire pit is a plus as well! We had an incredible stay at this secluded home in the woods of West Virginia. If you’re looking for privacy and tranquility, this is the perfect spot. The home is nestled deep in the greenery, offering complete privacy and a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hot tub. After a day of hiking and exploring the beautiful surrounding nature, soaking was an absolute treat. The home itself was cozy, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. We especially appreciated the fully-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and the thoughtful touches throughout the space.

We are city dwellers and wanted a relaxing getaway for the long weekend. Tony's place worked out very well for us. It was cozy, relaxing and there was plenty to do for both the adults and the kids. The backyard was a hit amongst the family members, and we spent our mornings and evenings relaxing on the red chairs (as shown in pics). Other things that made our stay comfortable included – good kitchen amenities, the hot tub, the grill, and TV for a late night movie before winding down. This place is around half an hour from Berkeley springs and Cacapon State Park, both worth visiting. Tony, as a host was phenomenal, very responsive, proactive and gave good recommendations for lunch and dinner. Overall, it was a good getaway/break for the family. Thank you to Tony and Team.
