1. Sherando Park (distance from house - 10 mins) A massive 330-acre park offering a fishing lake, hiking trails, a 25-meter pool, and an 18-hole disc golf course.
2. Newtown History Center (distance from house - 10 mins) Located on Main Street, this museum explores the town's origins as a wagon-making hub and its role during the Civil War. It’s a very quick trip from your location.
3. Belle Grove Plantation (distance from house - 10 mins) A stunning 1797 manor house and National Historic Landmark. It served as a headquarters during the Battle of Cedar Creek and offers guided tours of the house and grounds.
4. Cedar Creek & Belle Grove National Historical Park (distance from house - 10 mins) Focuses on the 1864 Battle of Cedar Creek. You can do a self-guided driving tour of the battlefield or hike the interpretive trails.
