Overall I’d give this a 4 or 4.5 out of 5. There is NOT Mountain View’s from the cabin itself, you have to drive in the neighborhood and find it. My only complaints aside from that there is the bed is terribly creaky and squeaky but still comfortable just noisy to move in, there is no curtains on the back glass doors so it’s wide open to see inside, the curtain on the side windows do NOT fully close so if someone is renting next door they can see in if they’re outback. Also the grass was not well maintained it was overgrown and the neighbors grass that share the same yard was even taller, maybe to my mid calf… but tony was very responsive. The house itself inside was clean and lovely, exactly as pictured. I will say if someone rents next door the driveway will be a tight fit to get in and out given the shape. I’d recommend this place for sure. Beautiful neighborhood and tons of stuff to do. The house is nice minus those 4 things but they are an easy fix. I’d say give it a go!

This rental is quaint and has many windows that make it feel larger, we loved watching deer walk by. It was so quiet at night. We utilized the screened porch the most & imagined it was bear scratches on the shed.
Had we understood that the pools & amenities of The Woods ARE NOT included, we probably would have stayed closer to Berkeley Springs. Tony was responsive to my inquiry.
If you are looking for remote and cozy spot this is a great option at an affordable price. If you have specific attractions or want to swim, it is prudent to research deeper, each town is about 30 minutes from another.

Overall, this is a sweet, cozy place in the middle of the woods to escape away from it all! However, we were surprised how small the living room and patio were–the pictures provided make them look much bigger than they are. That said, the bathroom is a lovely place to spend time–the large, glass-enclosed shower is appointed beautifully; and the toilet sits right next to a window so you can breathe in nature while taking care of nature’s calls. The area around the cottage is so very quiet and serene, even with neighbors–I enjoyed my daily runs very much. The hosts were responsive and attentive to our needs as they arose. In the end, we look forward to more time in WV!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The space was peaceful and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The bed was super comfortable, and we slept so well. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully set up with all the amenities we needed. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, quiet retreat!

We had a great time staying at Tony’s cabin in West Virginia. The place was peaceful, cozy, and just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Tony was a great host — everything was easy and smooth. Would definitely recommend!

Tony’s place is a dream! A wonder away from work. My husband and I needed an escape from our busy work life for the weekend and this cozy lodge was beyond everything and more. In the beginning we had an issue getting inside, but Tony rectified the issue right away with efficiency; keeping us in the loop. I love how detail oriented and organized everything was. I also love the friendly text interaction and the quick responses. From the time I booked it to checking out, Tony was always in communication. I love that they sent an email out on what to expect during our stay; easy checking in/out instructions, and also suggestions on restaurants and coffee shops. Such a short stay but we fell in love with the nature, comfort & calmness of the area. The nature vibes is so peaceful and breath taking. Everything was so clean and pristine. Loved all the cute signs and decor. Now we have our new place when we want to escape work and be in a peaceful nature vibe.

My friends and I really enjoyed staying at this location. It was a great price for what we got and it was so peaceful. We saw a lot of wildlife and enjoyed the tranquility of the environment!

Spent 3 nights here and they were great! The cabin was quaint and peaceful. It was a very relaxing weekend. However, the location isn’t the best and takes about 30 minutes on windy mountain roads to get to town. The cabin itself lacked a few kitchen appliances that would have come in handy. Overall, this place is a bargain and Tony was a great host!

We enjoyed our time getting away from the hustle and bustle of our work and parenting lives for a few days and the snowfall really made things around us seem very peaceful! Tony was great in accommodating our needs at check-out, especially after the snowfall and the subsequent necessary shoveling thereafter. We would definitely consider returning!

The cabin is clean and easily found (in a neighborhood). There is a great screened in porch; check in is easy; the space is very clean; and the beds super comfy.
It is bare-bones, especially for the price: You’ll need to supply shampoo/tea etc. There is a Keurig but you need to bring your own coffee-pods. While we had a fine time, the communications all seemed auto/AI generated~ very corporate, legalese, and many rules and surcharges. (We were told two hours before check in that it would be delayed, which is ironic since they stress how guests will be charged if they deviate at all from check out times ~holding guests to standards they themselves don’t always uphold).
As hosts ourselves, we value the connections and person to person aspect of Airbnb: This is one of over 70 cabins that the company runs in WV. So it feels more like a hotel than a unique cabin, which may be what most people are looking for. But for us, we prefer the old fashioned way of hosting:)

Tony is really helpful and friendly. The house has a great bathroom. However my stay was not as I expected.
I found the description inaccurate as I was expecting a cabin in the woods while this property is in a Suburban development called “The Woods”. Our closets neighbor had their car parking in our front yard so the place was not as remote as I had expected. The bed was creeky and uncomfortable to sleep on. A lot of the dishes and cutlery in the cupboard kept for our use were dirty or not cleaned properly. There is no dishwasher and the guests have to clean their own dishes before leaving so there is no standard for clean dishes being enforced.
