Tony was attentive and proactive in communications. Home is easy to find. Home is clean although an older home in need of some minor repairs and attention (some blown out bulbs, squeeky bed, screen door hard to roll). TV only on second floor, was a wierd layout but is worth the trade for downstairs view of the mountain range through the floor to ceiling glass windows. Not many outlets but they had ample cords around for use. Area is beautiful and we had a great time exploring the parks in the nearby areas. Hottub is clean and perfectly placed to watch the moonrise and sunset at the same time. Overall for the rate it is a great deal!

It is as described in the mountains so steep to enter and limited yard safe from road for dogs so had to leash walk since yard not fenced. But wooded large deck and easy access to needed places for a good price!

Great place to spend a weekend in a beautiful location.

Overall our stay was great! This house definitely served our purpose as we were looking for a quiet, private & relaxing place to stay where we could take our dog. Tony is awesome with communication! Always stayed in touch, let us know as soon as the cleaners were done that we could get in & made sure we had everything we needed including local recommendations. The house could definitely use a little work, it seems like some of the work done on it was done in a rush. The countertop on the island isn’t attached very well, if you even slightly bump it, it moves. The bed upstairs is VERY squeaky so if you’re a light sleeper I don’t recommend staying in that room. Even the slightest movement causes it to squeak. But as I said, it more than served our purpose. The small things definitely didn’t outweigh the positives & it’s a great place for a getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Tonys Property in Gerrardstown. AC was running when we checked in, the hot tub was ready hot, the linens and Towels were all very clean. Tony is a great communicator and has made the check in and check out process a breeze. Highly recommend. Looking forward to checking out more of Tony's Properties.

We want to start by saying that Tony has excellent communication and is an amazing host. However, we want to leave an honest review of this cabin. Walking in you can see that this is a rental property, not someone’s home, which was evident from the bare bones atmosphere. Some curtains, blankets, and tissues would go a long way making it feel more homey. The pellet stove is nice and works great. Being that the pellet stove is the main source of heat for the cabin (the bedrooms have baseboard heat), we were disappointed there were not any pellets upon arrival and that we were the ones that had to go purchase them. The hot tub is amazing and has beautiful views, especially at sunset and nighttime. The wrap around porch was nice. Everything in the house worked and the kitchen was well stocked. If you’re looking for a no frills place to stay, this is a great option. We were surprised with the condition of the home being the price we paid.

This was our second time staying at Tony's place, and we have really enjoyed getting to know the area. Tony communicates very well, and the instructions are very clear. Check-in and out is always super easy!

Great place

We had an over all nice stay. The place was a bit more shabby than it looked from the photo, however everything was in working condition and for the amount of space we had was a good deal. It was a little bit closer to to road than we expected, and there was a bit of road noise during the day, but getting to and from town was convenient. We had to buy snow melt for the driveway when it snowed and a lighter for the pellet stove, so if you're coming here during colder weather I recommend you come prepared. The pellet stove is the main source of heat in the common area, there are baseboard heaters in the bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed the pellet stove and the open floor plan.

We had a wonderful stay in the WV mountains. We stayed in January for our anniversary. The location we booked originally had a hot tub that was currently being serviced, but the host was gracious enough to make things switch around to accommodate since it was our anniversary. The house sits on a beautiful hilltop with gorgeous views and unbelievable sunsets from the porch and hot tub. The TV was fully functioning with all the major platforms. The house had all the amenities listed. The driveway was a bit steep, and the area had a pretty good snowstorm before we came so parts of the driveway had ice. Snow melting and freezing is in no way something the host could control, but it is worth noting for making sure the car you bring can get up the driveway in the winter months. We have a Rav 4 and it made it perfectly fine.

Tony was very responsive. The place was a great price. No frills. Make sure you bring your own pellets for the pellet stove in the winter.

We enjoyed our stay. It definitely could use a little updating but it was fine for what we needed it for. My main con- the water gets cold too fast for the shower. Also, lack of mirrors. We had 5 trying to get ready and it was difficult with the lack of mirrors. Thanks!

I was a little underwhelmed by the house considering the location... House was spotlessly clean and thought had gone into the decorations. Good house layout but cheaply built with a few maintenance issues. The outside light by the door did not work - that was a problem because the lockbox wasn't easy to use in the dark. The sliding glass door lock was broken - there was only a wooden stick blocking the door. Fabulously comfortable mattresses! Really good communications with the landlord.

Tony’s listing was a great getaway for the weekend. Stayed for two nights, enjoyed the amenities and took advantage of the proximity of the grocery stores and local restaurants. Check in was smooth as well as the check out. Would recommend to anyone trying to stay up in the mountains of WV!

I'll start with Tony was an amazing host. He was kind and responsive but I'd like to give a truly honest review because I was shocked after reading such great reviews. If you're looking for a place that is in tip top shape, this is not the house for you. It's on the side of a hill that is more than likely affecting the house due to uneven floors, doors that can't close and visible cracks on walls. I'm not sure if this house was purchased this way or if it's been upgraded by the "Blue Maple Team" and/or Tony. The upgrades appear to be...not done by professionals. The hot tub was well maintained. The bed we slept on (downstairs across from the bathroom) was comfortable. The couches LOOK nice but aren't comfortable (one had a stain on it) and the TV has too much glare from the windows (curtains should be put up). The driveway is quite steep. The property would benefit from a bit more yard care Make sure to check ALL trash cans when you arrive as my dog found a used pad he almost ate

Fantastic stay - Tony was proactive and provided instructions and suggestions promptly. The space was wonderfully relaxing and peaceful - very nicely decorated and perfect balance of spacious and cozy. Having a washer and dryer was helpful and hottubbing under the stars was the cherry on top!

This was a great place for our weekend get-away! The location is great for travel to nearby state parks and outdoor activities. The hot tub and wrap around porch were our favorite, and there was plenty of space for our group to spread out.

We had a delightful stay at this charming cabin situated in a lovely neighborhood. The host was incredibly communicative and always eager to assist with any questions or concerns. The beds were all supremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, while the well-equipped kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. Although the checkout time was slightly earlier than desired, we appreciated the host's consideration of guests' schedules. The cabin could benefit from a touch more attention to cleanliness, (a few trash cans were not emptied, some dusty areas, and towels in the washing machine), but these minor issues were easily overlooked in light of the wonderful overall experience. A few harmless bugs were present, which is understandable given the natural setting of the cabin. Do note that Airbnb may have additional fees that can affect the perceived value of the stay, but this delightful cabin still provided us with a memorable experience.

I was traveling through on my way back to Vermont and stayed here for one night. What stood out the most to me was how responsive, kind, thorough and helpful Tony was!! I was on the road for 7 hours already and having such a great host made it one less thing I had to worry about. The cabin itself was cute. It’s definitely well decorated and many convenient amenities. I’d say eventually it may need some updating and perhaps some landscaping but otherwise it’s perfect. I was so grateful for the comfortable bed and cozy pellet stove! I’ll definitely return when I make my way down again. Thanks Tony!

Cute, rustic home in a picturesque area, with a few quirks. The house has no central heat, requiring some creativity if you’re visiting in colder months, and the neighborhood doesn’t have sidewalks or close access to public spaces. But the views are amazing and it’s a great place for a quick getaway outside of DC!

The cabin was just what me and my husband need to get away from all the stresses of or everyday lives. Not to mention the hot tub was just the achy muscles needed. My husband and I agree the the beds in the cabin were the most comfortable of any beds I've ever slept in besides my own. We go to the mountains every year to see the fall colors and the sights this trip did not disappoint. My only complaint was that we only had one key for what could have been up to 6 people and the only TV in the whole house was upstairs. Yes the cabin had some age to it and as a carpenter my husband did find some minor things that needed repair but as a whole we loved the cabin. It was just the right combination of a quit and peaceful get away with civilization only 15-20 minutes away. I only wish we had enough time to do everything we wanted to do. I really hope we get the chance to come back and do it again next year!

We loved this cabin in Gerrardstown! The hot tub and fire pit were big hits among our group. The wrap around porch was great and we enjoyed spending time outside. We cooked dinner for six while staying here, and the kitchen was very nicely equipped. Tony was a great host, replied very quickly, and was very accommodating. We really enjoyed this stay, the only thing I would note is that it's not super remote, as the cabin is situated back a bit from a small road. We didn't mind this at all and enjoyed the convince. I would highly recommend this cabin!

We were only there for a quick layover during our travel south, but it was a lovely cabin in a beautiful setting with great communication from Tony. There were some issues that we addressed with Tony regarding some minor maintenance and oversights by the cleaning crew before we arrived. Based upon those things, the cleaning fee charge was steep and unequal to what we experienced. There was wifi and TV, but we never found a remote for the TV. All in all, we enjoyed using the outdoor grill and we got a good night's sleep.

Tony was fantastic with his communication throughout our stay. That was very much appreciated and if there was anything we needed, we were confident he'd get back to us quickly. The house is spacious, nice kitchen size, and the grill on the deck was great to use. The day we arrived it was fairly hot outside, and when we stepped into the house it was a really nice cool temp with multiple ACs running. That was really appreciated as Tony could have saved some money by not turning them on before, but it certainly wouldn't have been as pleasant. We really enjoyed having the multiple bedrooms and two bath rooms, as well as other space the house offers. While the house isn't perfect in construction, it definitely met our needs and we all agreed it would be nice to rent again next year when we're in the area again. Thanks Tony for sharing your home with us!

This little home is located on the back roads of West Virginia. It isn’t too far away from civilization so it was exactly what we are looking for! We loved the Cabin especially the hot tub. We took a trip here from Annapolis to do some winery hopping. So much to offer if you are into wine! Loved this place would definitely return. Tony made our stay easy with lots of communication. He was a great host! Thank you again for a great weekend!

This place is amazing, unfortunately I didn't have long enough to thoroughly enjoy it. It is a great property with everything you need and beautiful scenary. Super cute cabin! It was perfect for my family and an added bonus that our pup could stay too! The deck is huge and we spent a lot of time just enjoying the weather and birds chirping. We even saw a deer.

Comfortable place only 10min off the highway. Just what we needed on a road trip. Comfortable beds and good location.

This home is as it is described. It has three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. We had a group of six adults (relatives), and had plenty of room. My brother-in-law and his wife had the upstairs bedroom, bathroom and a loft. My husband , two adult children and I shared the main floor bathroom. We brought an air bed for one of our kids, since each room had one queen bed. The furniture and beds were comfortable, clean and nice looking. The atmosphere is soft and comfy, not too rustic. I’m not outdoorsy (I admire nature from a safe distance), and I was very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious enough for everyone (and nice quality wine glasses-thanks). It was convenient to The grocery store in Inwood, and Bunker Hill, where we were working on a relative’s house. The drive back and forth wasn’t long, and it was a nice place to unwind in the evening. We would recommend this house!

Positive: Stayed overnight when travelling on I-81. The Chalet exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for three couples. It was much more fun to stay together in one home - and more cost effective than three hotel rooms. Fireplace was a little tricky, but host was easily accessible. Had us up and going in no time. We had pizza from a local shop in Inwood, and it was excellent. Everyone I met in the town was friendly and helpful. Maybe we will return for a longer stay. Negative: No complaints at all, but would suggest that the street number could be more clear to make initial search for the Chalet even easier.

This place is exactly as described. Very clean and good location. The interior is functional but not stylish. Everything was working and the beds were very comfy. For a short stay the cleaning fee becomes quite heavy.
