Other things to note:.
Any vehicle will be able to get up the mile-long gravel mountain road, but take extra care with cars that are very low to the ground. Please note that the speed limit in our community is 15 mph, as the road is narrow at times.
If snow is predicted, 4WD is recommended. The road may not be plowed unless there is heavy (4"+) snow
We get our share of wildlife and other woodland creatures on property — this is very much a cabin, and modern-rustic is the vibe. We are on a well, so water pressure will fluctuate. There's not a television or a microwave, but you won't miss them. There *is* central A/C and heat, a supply of firewood, and a feeling of seclusion from neighboring cabins. It’s the best of all worlds: an amazing Shenandoah Valley location, the feeling that you're getting away completely, and an aesthetic you'll want to take home with you.
