Tony was very friendly and helpful from start to finish. The cabin was not as secluded as I believed it would be, as there was another cabin directly next to us. It was also a bit more “outdated” than it appeared to be in the pictures. The games and hot tub were both enjoyed!

It was definitely as presented. The host was quick to communicate the place was a little outdated. Wish the living room had curtains. The views were wonderful but to drive up the steep hill in the night with no lights was a little frightening. But It was a nice experience in the hills

Tony was very helpful, polite, kind and good at communication. The cabin was beautiful, the natural lighting in the morning and afternoon for great, the view from where the cabin sits. Everything is fairly close ( restaurants, stores, gas stations, etc. Would definitely come back.

Gorgeous views from a cozy cabin with a great hot tub! Could use some extra towels and linens for the beds and for hot tub usage but washer and dryer worked wonders! Take note that you need to bring your own firewood and the dishwasher is not plugged in or attached to water.

This place was great, very private, quiet and relaxing. There was always a fantastic view on the distant mountains and the light in the sunroom off the bedroom was special in the evenings. Perfect for reading or just unplugging and listening to nature.

Tanya was a great host. very responsive all of the time and very helpful. there are a lot of great breakfasts and dinner spots all around. The Rusty Nail Winery is a must viat attraction. the view from the house was great and so was hot tub.

The tricky part for me was not listening to the reviews and trying to go up the unpaved road in a Tesla. There’s a place to turn around at the end of the road that makes it easier! It’s a little scary going down when it rains but it’s a beautiful view outside the living room. The hot tub was clean, and I really enjoyed using the jets in the actual tub. I had a couple of spider crickets, stink bugs and mosquito-eaters come in but my fiancé swept them up and put them outside and we were fine. You are in the mountain so if you want to spend time outside, the smoke from a fire really helps you not get eaten alive. My only issue was the beds being a bit firmer than I would have liked but for the price and location, I really couldn’t complain. There’s neighbors along the street and a nearby rental on the other side of the fence but no one was there so it wasn’t an issue for me. It felt secluded and it was an amazing experience to get away from the city!

Tony is a very responsive host and very helpful. The house is nestled into a quiet area of the mountains. It was nice to get away for a night. The shower is nice and hot. The house is historical and is fun to explore. If you want a really private place to stay, this may not be the spot for you as there is a house right smack dab next to this property and that house has a huge window upstairs that faces the hot tub area and campfire area of this property. It wasnt a big deal to me this time as i didn’t use the hot tub or campfire. Overall, i had an enjoyable stay and slept well here.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was peaceful and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. We especially loved the sunsets.

Todo estuvo muy bien, aunque tuvimos confusión al llegar debido a google maps, al final encontramos el lugar, la ubicación es increíble, tiene una vista preciosa y disfrutar de la vista desde el jacuzzi es increíble. Las únicas dificultades que tuvimos fue que no había acceso al internet cuando dos celulares se conectaban al mismo tiempo y tampoco teníamos buena señal. También el lava platos estaba dañado, así que debes llevar esponja para lavar manualmente y el sofá cama de la sala principal no es muy recomendable para dormir porque es bastante Delgado he incómodo. Las otras habitaciones están muy buenas y todo perfecto. Tuvimos buenos días en el lugar y disfrutamos de bellos paisajes.

I had an absolutely amazing experience! The place was insanely beautiful, offering breathtaking views that made every moment unforgettable. It was beautifully set up with thoughtful touches like plenty of paper towels, garbage bags, shampoo, and all the essentials you could need. The cleanliness was impeccable-everything was spotless and well-maintained. On top of that, the space was heavenly cozy, making it the perfect retreat to relax and unwind. Though there were a couple of small issues, Tony was very responsive and communicated extremely well! The place and area were as described. It is a steep gravel drive and I did use 4 wheel drive but it is probably possible to do without. the sunset off the back porch was stunning!

This was a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy some quiet time. We loved the hot tub, fireplace and the view the most! Spent an afternoon in Winchester, VA walking around and ate at Bonnie Blues—highly recommend! We will definitely be back! Thanks Tony!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The views were stunning from inside and outside of the house. The inside was very cozy with that cabin feel to it. The best part was definitely the hot tub! Looking at the surroundings while relaxing was quite an experience, very cool.

I very much enjoyed my stay in the mountains and especially time in the hot tub. The set up was great on the property. The lights that were set up near the hot tub weren’t functional, which made it a little harder to enjoy at night, but the experience as well as the space were very remarkable. Use of the kitchen and utensils was very much appreciated. Getting in and out of the area is a little difficult, but that was to be expected I suppose.

Really neat and tidy place, view and bathtub were incredible. Only thing to note is that there is a neighbour right next door, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but we thought we’d be more secluded. Regardless, it was overall great bang for your buck. Tony is a great host and the cabin is very cute.

This was a great getaway for our family! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. It was very clean upon our arrival, and Tony was very responsive. The views were beautiful, as promised, and the foosball and games provided were a great feature. Excellent woodsy escape from suburban living!

A nice place to stay; the views at sunset were gorgeous. Tony responded timely to questions & requests. Cabin & hot tub were clean, heat, water & appliances good. Furniture 7 out of 10 for comfort. Check-in 4pm – no entry code – sent email. 4:55 – message came with code saying cleaners just finished. Cabin was not ready on time. Dark at arrival outside light off & took 15 minutes to get key box open. Linens & blankets for pull-out couch not there; didn’t realize until late, so no response to until morning. 3rd guest used car blankets for 1st night. One blanket only on other 2 beds. Next day Tony gave code for locked closet but no blankets there, just sheets. No one seemed to know where they were. Cleaners bought & delivered blankets that day. Checkout was 10 am – wifi shut off at 7 – no warning. Had to get to cell area to log out of TV subscriptions on our phones. Nice people, some easy logistic fixes would make a big difference, like motion lights, electronic lock, extra blankets.

This cabin is a great getaway, snuggled up on the mountainside. A great view from all decks. The main level has easy access from kitchen to deck, where there is a nice patio table. Upstairs there is a nice sunroom off the bedroom.
The hot tub and fire pit are secluded and have a great view of the stars.
Access to highways to visit local areas was good.

The host was wonderful and very communicative! There was a minor issue with some outside lights and it was fixed within a few hours! The hot tub was very enjoyable and the basket of games downstairs was great. The sunset view from the back deck was one of the big reasons we stayed here, and it did not disappoint!!

Peaceful place to stay with lots of patio space and open windows. Very private location with a steep gravel driveway. This house is within driving distance to many hikes, wineries, and state lines, so it was a great central location to explore WV, MD, VA, PA, and DC. Tony was very responsive and the house had everything I needed. It was a great stay!

The view is unbeatable from the upper deck and the hot tub was a great addition. The house is off the beaten path and in the woods so you feel really out of the hustle for sure. The driveway is a bit steep so just be prepared.
Communication with the host was stellar! Very proactive with information and extremely responsive when we needed info or additional support.

We stayed for one night over Memorial Day with three of our sons. The location was quiet, the hot tub was clean (and hot!), and the view was lovely. However, even though we said there would be five of us, there were only four towels. There are two pullout couches but there was only one bottom sheet, no flat sheets, and no extra pillows. The listing says “sleeps 6” but this felt more like “sleeps 4.” Also, the place needs some TLC. 3/4 of the latches on the hot tub cover are broken. The ceiling fan in the loft doesn’t work. The “Connect Four” game is broken and the foosball is missing its ball. There’s not a lot to do around the area, and we were excited about playing games together, so those little things were disappointing.
Tony was responsive about the sheets/towels and asked the cleaning lady to deliver some, but she did not. He refunded us $50, which was nice, but sharing towels and using couch cushions as pillows wasn’t what we envisioned—hence the four stars.

Our stay was very nice. The host was very responsive, communicative, and helpful during my entire stay. He made sure everything was going smoothly and had a ton of helpful instructions for all the amenities offered in the cabin.
He recommended some hiking spots which were really nice and beautiful. Overall he was very helpful and caring during our stay and did his best to make sure everything went well.
The place is how it looks like in the pictures. Some of the board games are a little worn down, but overall everything was in great shape.

The description of the cabin does not serve it justice.. my family and I did not want to leave.. the peaceful quiet with soft ambient distant sounds put us in a meditative state.
The hot tub was perfect, combined with the clean crisp cool mountain air, felt like we
were in a movie.
The Wood indoor fire place with crackling wood sounds, was perfect for a cup hot cocoa or select beverage of choice.
Amazing grill on the front balcony/deck with a view of land, mountain hills and trees in the day time for MILES!! …. Prepare to have your mind blown (because when the sun goes down) pure beautiful moonlight washed darkness with lights in the distance as far as you can see.. the kind of place you can live or retire and enjoy every minute..
I frequent cabins for specific moods this cabin is well placed in my top 5, I will be visiting again.

This place is absolutely amazing. Had an amazing Valentine’s Day with my fiancé and two new puppies here. Tony helped me with anything I needed and also was very fast on replying to my messages. I requested a set up for Valentine’s Day and it was everything I imagined and asked for!!

Great stay! Super quiet and peaceful. Tony was a great host and very responsive to anything we needed. The hot tub was great, and has a little privacy fence. The view is spectacular and I think my favorite part was the wood burning fireplace. Such a cute and cozy cabin!

Positive:
Love the space. The peacefulness and the jetted tub. The view was amazing once the fog cleared up. There was plenty of room and very clean. I love the host Tony he was so great. He ensure we had everything we needed and is very prompt with responses. I would recommend this place and will be back again.
Negative:
I did not like the driveway. I recommend anyone staying to have an suv, van, or truck with 4 wheel drive.

We loved our stay! This cabin was the perfect secluded getaway that we were looking for a couple days, it looked just like the photos! It was easy to access and check-in was hassle free. There was stunning scenery through every window you looked out. A storm came through the night before we eventually checked in and broke a window but Tony handled it promptly and had a handyman out that same day. Overall 10/10 would stay again!

This was the second of Tony’s places my girlfriend and I stayed at and it was equally as great as the first! Really cozy space. Clean, easy to access and a stunning view in the morning. Easy drive from DC. We definitely plan on going back soon!

This cabin was a great location for a family gathering we had. There was plenty of space for all of us with plenty of amenities. The views from the patios were great as well. There were plenty of activities located about 15-20 minutes away. Our Host was also very responsive and the house manual was clear and easy to follow. Overall, Great experience at this cabin.

This was such a hidden gem on our road trip and Tony was such a great host. We often have to find a place at the last minute when traveling, and we were able to locate this cabin with such a gorgeous view and a hot tub! We had everything we needed for the night for our family and our dogs. Check in was a breeze. Watched sunrise from the second story deck. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Das Haus liegt sehr schön auf einem Hang. Es ist sehr gut mit Auto zu erreichen. Toni ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, die Kommunikation war einwandfrei und sehr schnell. Die Unterkunft ist schön, die Betten bequem. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

The photos do not prepare you for what you get. Everything is outdated, the photos were taken a LONG time ago. Stains on sofa, hot tub disgusting, the place needs a lot of maintenence inside and outside. The driveway is treacherous, almost impassable because of wash outs.

The biggest issues we had with this place is that the AC did not work. Wouldn't the host have the decency to check the AC during the summer when it is 90+ degrees? It did not look like it had been cleaned at all, as the host claims. The floors were dusty, the carpet had dirt & gravel on it, the outdoor furniture was filthy, and the upstairs windowsills were covered in bugs & spider webs. I understand that this cabin is in the woods, but that is not an excuse for lack of cleanliness, especially when you are expecting guests and letting them stay an extra night. Additionally, the roads to this place are not fit for any vehicle other than one intended for off-roading. The listing for this place did specify that only AWD vehicles could cross the terrain in winter, but nothing about how bad they are in dry weather. Our Hyundai sedan barely made it up the incredibly steep inclines and over massive potholes. There are also no railings on the sides of the road, so it is even more dangerous.

Todo estuvo muy bien, aunque tuvimos confusión al llegar debido a google maps, al final encontramos el lugar, la ubicación es increíble, tiene una vista preciosa y disfrutar de la vista desde el jacuzzi es increíble. Las únicas dificultades que tuvimos fue que no había acceso al internet cuando dos celulares se conectaban al mismo tiempo y tampoco teníamos buena señal. También el lava platos estaba dañado, así que debes llevar esponja para lavar manualmente y el sofá cama de la sala principal no es muy recomendable para dormir porque es bastante Delgado he incómodo. Las otras habitaciones están muy buenas y todo perfecto. Tuvimos buenos días en el lugar y disfrutamos de bellos paisajes.

Though there were a couple of small issues, Tony was very responsive and communicated extremely well! The place and area were as described. It is a steep gravel drive and I did use 4 wheel drive but it is probably possible to do without. the sunset off the back porch was stunning!

This was a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy some quiet time. We loved the hot tub, fireplace and the view the most! Spent an afternoon in Winchester, VA walking around and ate at Bonnie Blues—highly recommend! We will definitely be back! Thanks Tony!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The views were stunning from inside and outside of the house. The inside was very cozy with that cabin feel to it. The best part was definitely the hot tub! Looking at the surroundings while relaxing was quite an experience, very cool.

I very much enjoyed my stay in the mountains and especially time in the hot tub. The set up was great on the property. The lights that were set up near the hot tub weren't functional, which made it a little harder to enjoy at night, but the experience as well as the space were very remarkable. Use of the kitchen and utensils was very much appreciated. Getting in and out of the area is a little difficult, but that was to be expected I suppose.

Really neat and tidy place, view and bathtub were incredible. Only thing to note is that there is a neighbour right next door, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but we thought we'd be more secluded. Regardless, it was overall great bang for your buck. Tony is a great host and the cabin is very cute.

This was a great getaway for our family! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. It was very clean upon our arrival, and Tony was very responsive. The views were beautiful, as promised, and the foosball and games provided were a great feature. Excellent woodsy escape from suburban living!

A nice place to stay; the views at sunset were gorgeous. Tony responded timely to questions & requests. Cabin & hot tub were clean, heat, water & appliances good. Furniture 7 out of 10 for comfort. Check-in 4pm - no entry code - sent email. 4:55 - message came with code saying cleaners just finished. Cabin was not ready on time. Dark at arrival outside light off & took 15 minutes to get key box open. Linens & blankets for pull-out couch not there; didn't realize until late, so no response to until morning. 3rd guest used car blankets for 1st night. One blanket only on other 2 beds. Next day Tony gave code for locked closet but no blankets there, just sheets. No one seemed to know where they were. Cleaners bought & delivered blankets that day. Checkout was 10 am - wifi shut off at 7 - no warning. Had to get to cell area to log out of TV subscriptions on our phones. Nice people, some easy logistic fixes would make a big difference, like motion lights, electronic lock, extra blankets.

We really wanted to enjoy this cabin more than we actually did. Place was super dirty and gave the impression the cleaning people prior to our arrival just changed out the linens/dirty dishes and left. Dust, leaves, and spider webs in almost every room. Understandable that we were in the woods but there were a variety of bugs everywhere inside. Stains on both the main couch in the living room and one of the towels were super off putting. Refrigerator had old food stains on the shelves and needed to be wiped down. Cracks in molding, layers of dust on the fans, we felt the need to wipe down everything before use. Whole unit looked old and worn down and with what we paid felt we got shorted on value.
Fair warning to anyone arriving in a car without four wheel drive. Driveway up to the unit it steep and gravely. Unsure if you could make it up there with no issues in a small sedan (especially if it was rainy/snowy)
Loved the area and the views from the patio were nice but don’t be deceived

It was difficult getting to, it took us to the house next door. The driveway was rough turning in and out of and getting up without spinning the gravel. The photos definitely made it look bigger than it was. The view was beautiful looking out the front windows. There was a tv and games there for us, which was nice. The hosts were extremely nice and definitely cared about our stay. Over all its was a decent place, it was just old and needed some TLC

This cabin is a great getaway, snuggled up on the mountainside. A great view from all decks. The main level has easy access from kitchen to deck, where there is a nice patio table. Upstairs there is a nice sunroom off the bedroom.
The hot tub and fire pit are secluded and have a great view of the stars.
Access to highways to visit local areas was good.

The host was wonderful and very communicative! There was a minor issue with some outside lights and it was fixed within a few hours! The hot tub was very enjoyable and the basket of games downstairs was great. The sunset view from the back deck was one of the big reasons we stayed here, and it did not disappoint!!

Peaceful place to stay with lots of patio space and open windows. Very private location with a steep gravel driveway. This house is within driving distance to many hikes, wineries, and state lines, so it was a great central location to explore WV, MD, VA, PA, and DC. Tony was very responsive and the house had everything I needed. It was a great stay!

The view is unbeatable from the upper deck and the hot tub was a great addition. The house is off the beaten path and in the woods so you feel really out of the hustle for sure. The driveway is a bit steep so just be prepared.
Communication with the host was stellar! Very proactive with information and extremely responsive when we needed info or additional support.

We stayed for one night over Memorial Day with three of our sons. The location was quiet, the hot tub was clean (and hot!), and the view was lovely. However, even though we said there would be five of us, there were only four towels. There are two pullout couches but there was only one bottom sheet, no flat sheets, and no extra pillows. The listing says “sleeps 6” but this felt more like “sleeps 4.” Also, the place needs some TLC. 3/4 of the latches on the hot tub cover are broken. The ceiling fan in the loft doesn’t work. The “Connect Four” game is broken and the foosball is missing its ball. There’s not a lot to do around the area, and we were excited about playing games together, so those little things were disappointing.
Tony was responsive about the sheets/towels and asked the cleaning lady to deliver some, but she did not. He refunded us $50, which was nice, but sharing towels and using couch cushions as pillows wasn’t what we envisioned—hence the four stars.

Our stay was very nice. The host was very responsive, communicative, and helpful during my entire stay. He made sure everything was going smoothly and had a ton of helpful instructions for all the amenities offered in the cabin.
He recommended some hiking spots which were really nice and beautiful. Overall he was very helpful and caring during our stay and did his best to make sure everything went well.
The place is how it looks like in the pictures. Some of the board games are a little worn down, but overall everything was in great shape.

The description of the cabin does not serve it justice.. my family and I did not want to leave.. the peaceful quiet with soft ambient distant sounds put us in a meditative state.
The hot tub was perfect, combined with the clean crisp cool mountain air, felt like we
were in a movie.
The Wood indoor fire place with crackling wood sounds, was perfect for a cup hot cocoa or select beverage of choice.
Amazing grill on the front balcony/deck with a view of land, mountain hills and trees in the day time for MILES!! …. Prepare to have your mind blown (because when the sun goes down) pure beautiful moonlight washed darkness with lights in the distance as far as you can see.. the kind of place you can live or retire and enjoy every minute..
I frequent cabins for specific moods this cabin is well placed in my top 5, I will be visiting again.

Love the space. The peacefulness and the jetted tub. The view was amazing once the fog cleared up. There was plenty of room and very clean. I love the host Tony he was so great. I did not like the driveway. I recommend anyone staying to have an suv, van, or truck with 4 wheel drive.

Our stay was ok. The location wasn't as secluded as I wanted. Multiple neighbors in sight. My family of 4 was only left 4 towels, not enough bedding, I had to leave to buy toilet paper on Christmas Eve. There was staining on the walls, and furniture. There was a huge build up of dust. The place was ok for the cost. I expected more.

We loved our stay! This cabin was the perfect secluded getaway that we were looking for a couple days, it looked just like the photos! It was easy to access and check-in was hassle free. There was stunning scenery through every window you looked out. A storm came through the night before we eventually checked in and broke a window but Tony handled it promptly and had a handyman out that same day. Overall 10/10 would stay again!

This cabin was a great location for a family gathering we had. There was plenty of space for all of us with plenty of amenities. The views from the patios were great as well. There were plenty of activities located about 15-20 minutes away. Our Host was also very responsive and the house manual was clear and easy to follow. Overall, Great experience at this cabin.

Would be helpful to know there is a turnaround at the end of road. Very steep and sharp turn. No way would I have gotten there if I had not had four wheel drive. There’s only room for two vehicles, maybe. Cleaning was good but washer had tons of mildew and I had to clean, a bowl of nasty water was under sink to catch drips, stove was horrible and tv fell off the wall. Tony responded quickly to everything that we requested. Looks like housekeeping/maintenance overlooked things. Hot tub needed a new filter. Took care of mostly the stuff that needed cleaning and sent Tony a list. Looks like they are remodeling because the closets are full. View was wonderful, bedding, towels, kitchen and bathroom were exceptionally cleaned but it was the small things I had to keep taking care of. Tony doesn’t live around, so there’s no way he would have known, unless we told him. Seems like a great guy and I’m sure he will get on this immediately. Has lots of potential.

This was such a hidden gem on our road trip and Tony was such a great host. We often have to find a place at the last minute when traveling, and we were able to locate this cabin with such a gorgeous view and a hot tub! We had everything we needed for the night for our family and our dogs. Check in was a breeze. Watched sunrise from the second story deck. Wish we could have stayed longer!

First and foremost the host is very responsive but the place itself could use some work. I believe you are truly just paying for the views and the hot tub with this place because the house itself was dirty and bug infested. My husband and I both grew up in the country & in the middle of the woods and never dealt with bugs being inside our living space as much as we did here. We probably killed 50 bugs during our 3 night stay. Just not a pleasant experience. The hot tub outdoor lighting did not work, the trash can in broken, no outside lighting on the porches. The views and fire pit were nice, but sadly I don’t think we would stay here again.

Das Haus liegt sehr schön auf einem Hang. Es ist sehr gut mit Auto zu erreichen. Toni ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, die Kommunikation war einwandfrei und sehr schnell. Die Unterkunft ist schön, die Betten bequem. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.
