The house was so cute!!! Nestled in the woods so quiet and serene. The hot tub (even in the cold) was absolutely amazing! The only thing that I was disappointed with was on the house rules it said you could pay extra to stay late and then I was told that wasn’t an option any longer and was told the house was rented for Tuesday. So I couldn’t extend a day. I came in from CT so the early 10 am checkout was a little intense. The pan selection is very small so frying bacon was a little hard. But we enjoyed the weekend and definitely would stay again.

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was only two of us but the space would’ve been nice plenty comfortable for another person or couple as well especially with the separate bed and baths being on different floors. The spaces were mostly very clean with the exception of a couple minor things. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Clean and spacious. Easy check in. Had no issues. Didn’t need to reach out to host. Obtain the guide sooner rather than later so you know what to expect. only the bare minimum is provided. Fire wood, coffee, cooking oil are not provided. If there are extra kitchen goods, it’s from previous guests. There’s super markets within 20-25mins. if you find you’re missing anything. There are a lot of windows for sunlight to enter which I love but no blackout curtains. if you need to sleep in a dark room to sleep past sunrise, i recommend bringing an eye mask. There’s a rooster in the neighborhood, so consider bringing ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. My partner, dog, and I enjoyed our stay.

Tony was always proactive with communication and non-intrusive. He sent great reminders and necessary information ahead of time. Tony was also responsive to anything we had needed or asked about. The home was clean and well-organized. It felt like home and we were comfortable right away. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and that was the highlight of our trip – sitting with them in the yard with a cup of coffee in the morning or beer in the evening. The cabin was very clean for being in the woods in the fall with all the bugs, leaves and mess that comes with the season. We had explored the surrounding area a bit, but being able to relax at the house and leave behind the stress of everyday life was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend Tony and the Blue Maple properties to anyone looking to explore the area and spend some time in nature. Thanks! We are already looking to plan our next trip!

Area was quiet and private. Ample space to feel comfortable as well as homey. The hot tub was clean & relaxing after hiking all day. The deck had a clear bubble you could hang out in if weather was rainy. I would recommend bringing towels for the kitchen if you plan on cooking. We were originally given one large towel per person and one hand towel for the bathroom – Tony was quick to respond when we asked for extra towels which was helpful, but we had to use paper towels every time we did the dishes and we cooked for every meal during our 4 day stay. Overall it was what we were looking for which was a quiet/comfortable getaway in the woods.

Had a great time at the cabin for a weekend get away with my girlfriend for her birthday. She wanted a relaxing retreat themed birthday and that’s exactly what we got at Tony’s cabin. Place was extremely clean and the grill and hot tub were awesome. Other reviews talk about the dog next door barking but even when we saw him out he didn’t bark at us! Would revisit if we are ever back in WV!

We really loved staying at this beautiful home and wish we could have stayed even longer!! It was so picturesque looking out into the woods and getting to enjoy the peace and quiet, and the hot tub was a welcome amenity after a long day of travel. Pet friendly, hot tub, yard, deck and HYPEDOME. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate. The hype dome allowed us to hang outside, we loved it.

Pretty peaceful stay at this cabin. Ideal for a getaway for yourself or with someone special. There is a winery only 15mins away and a dessert place called “Everything Cheesecake” in town which was excellent. Besides not able to find multiple trash bags or towels, this was a perfect stay. We found the chalet was in an excellent location, far enough away from the hub bub for peace and quiet, but close enough for convenient access to the area’s historic sites. The cabin was very clean, but was in need of a little TLC as far as the deck finish and inside living room furniture were concerned. All in all, we thought the unit was a good value for what we paid and the owner was friendly and communicated well.

Tony’s place is very cute! Nice back deck right up against the forest and good for both winter and summer as there is a bubble tent sitting area and propane grill. We enjoyed the easy entry and no hassle interior layout. Very private area, in a quiet neighborhood, down a winding path. Super nice host and less than a half hour drive to the mountains, several cute small towns, and Harper’s Ferry.

If I could give this place more stars I would. It was a perfect little weekend get away for my dogs 12th birthday, he loves to hike and there’s plenty of trails and parks not far. We hiked to harpers ferry and spent the day there ( it’s a must see if you haven’t been) the house is so unique and beautiful, my favorite part is the windows, for sure! We definitely plan on coming back sometime in the fall 😊

Tony is an excellent host, very proactive and helpful. The house itself is lovely, matched the pictures perfectly. The firepit and hot tub really made this already-great Airbnb extra special. We loved the internet connection and ability to stream anything. I have a son with food intolerances, so we cook almost every meal ourselves, and Tony’s place has a great base of dishes, cooking pots and utensils. Absolutely no complaints, only praise for this gem. Looking forward to coming again.

The house was in a wooded neighborhood and was perfect for us for the night as we were traveling north from FL to NY. The jacuzzi on the deck was a plus. Very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were also clean. You can tell this house hosts pets, but with a zyrtec I was able to stay the night with no issues. The stairs and upstairs bedroom are carpeted which was clean as far as we could tell. We did not stay upstairs. One bit of caution, we have a Ford Transit Van and even though the ground was not wet and no ice or snow, our van had a hard time making it back up the small part of the driveway. Our all terrain tires just slipped on the gravel and would go up the steep drive until I unloaded the back of the van and rocked it out of the spot the tire were sliding. Use the circle driveway instead. and you will not have a problem. There is a large fences in area for your dogs. The neighbors all have dogs as well so they will have fun barking at each other. A good stay for 1night

Speedy and courteous customer service, comfortable beds/bedding, clean, secluded, fenced in yard-great for dogs, large bathrooms and quality tv.
Cons:
Strong musty/ashtray smell throughout the home, stove and oven does not work properly (suggest not using at all), low wattage microwave and minimal cookware/utensils, pots and pans need replacing, many neighbors have loud dogs who bark all day and night, garbage scattered throughout the outdoor area, heating system keeps bedrooms super hot and rest of house very cold.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the customer service.

Cute cabin! Very clean. I do wish that the beds were a bit firmer, but other than that, we had a great time! Our dog loved running around the fenced-in area; hot tub was clean and fun. Tony and team are very responsive, proactively following up. Note that if you have a dog, there is a large brown male dog (intact) that roams around the neighborhood and remarks things on everyone’s properties. He didn’t seem aggressive, but it caught us off guard when we were out walking. But overall, it was a great experience. We definitely need to come back when the weather warms up!

Tony’s place was nice for a little weekend getaway with my husband and dog. The home is in the woods but is not secluded. There are many homes close by. The home does have a fenced-in area for a dog. However, there are many other dogs in the neighborhood and one next door that was out for the majority of the time, so it is not the best location for a reactive dog like ours. However, if your dog does not mind others’ dogs, it would be fine for them.
As for cleanliness, Tony’s place was clean on the inside. However, we ended up not using the hot tub due to it having a weird smell and a lot of gunk floating in it. We were kind of dissaponted in this since this is a reason we ended up going with this home as opposed to other locations. If you are going to have a hot tub, you should ensure it is cleaned regularly.
The home is nicely situated between many attractions for outdoor lovers. We were able to visit Berkley Springs, Cacapon State Park, Winchester, and Harper’s Ferry while there.

This Airbnb is in a quiet, wooded area. It allowed for a relaxing weekend. My husband and I brought our reactive dog and were excited to use the fenced in yard, but unfortunately the dog next door was always out so she couldn’t run around. We hiked in Harpers Ferry, which is about a 40 minute drive. The Airbnb was a comfortable fit for our family.

Great place to stay in the area. While it is private and out there, you are not far from Martinsburg, Winchester and so on. We loved our stay and are always grateful when our dog is welcome. Other than a few “harder to do” items, the place is spotless … especially bathrooms and kitchen. We used the firepit, as well. Too rainy for the hot tub. A little outdoor covered space would be great, but we knew it was not there … just a suggestion. I would definitely recommend staying here!! We will be back!! The house is a great size for up to two couples or a small family. It is in very good condition and has a nice large deck for outdoor entertainment. There is an ample amount of parking which is easy to navigate. It is fairly secluded with privacy outback on the deck. There is also a nice fenced in area for dogs to roam around off-leash. The kitchen is a good size to accommodate cooking a meal along with the necessary utensils which we appreciated. The grill was also in good condition. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Tony’s place in Gerrardstown is the perfect escape for a couple who want to enjoy some time with nature. The location was perfect for being just far enough away from groceries/town (15 mins) and close to a ton of cool areas. The hot tub was great and everything was just perfect! This cabin was wonderful for celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. It’s a bird lovers paradise, out on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning is highly recommended. The deck was great and we appreciated the gate to keep our dogs safe! The cabin is stylish and comfortable. We would totally stay here again if we are in the area!

We had an incredibly relaxing weekend at Tony’s place. Spotless, quiet, cozy, exactly as described. The cabin has everything you need for an escape from the city. This place was great!!! It looks small from the outside but it feels way bigger on the inside. We easily fit 4 people & multiple dogs (loved the fenced yard for the dogs!) Tony was very easy to communicate with & always replied to any questions right away. The area was within 30-40 mins of good hiking and some cute small towns with good bars/restaurants, but still remote enough to feel secluded. Unlike many other remote areas there were also a few delivery options which was nice on days we just wanted to hang out at the house. One thing I’d want to make future guests aware of is if you plan to use the hot tub you might want to bring your own towels for it. There were only enough towels provided for showering (at least with 4 of us). I did give Tony this feedback and he said he’d try to change that in the future though so feel free to check with him if you think that will be a need you have. I would definitely stay here again!

Fire wood, coffee, cooking oil are not provided. If there are extra kitchen goods, it’s from previous guests. There’s super markets within 20-25mins. if you find you’re missing anything. There are a lot of windows for sunlight to enter which I love but no blackout curtains. if you need to sleep in a dark room to sleep past sunrise, i recommend bringing an eye mask. There’s a rooster in the neighborhood, so consider bringing ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. My partner, dog, and I enjoyed our stay.

Tony was always proactive with communication and non-intrusive. He sent great reminders and necessary information ahead of time. Tony was also responsive to anything we had needed or asked about. The home was clean and well-organized. It felt like home and we were comfortable right away. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and that was the highlight of our trip - sitting with them in the yard with a cup of coffee in the morning or beer in the evening. The cabin was very clean for being in the woods in the fall with all the bugs, leaves and mess that comes with the season. We had explored the surrounding area a bit, but being able to relax at the house and leave behind the stress of everyday life was exactly what we needed. Area was quiet and private. Ample space to feel comfortable as well as homey. The hot tub was clean & relaxing after hiking all day. The deck had a clear bubble you could hang out in if weather was rainy. I would recommend bringing towels for the kitchen if you plan on cooking. We were originally given one large towel per person and one hand towel for the bathroom - Tony was quick to respond when we asked for extra towels which was helpful, but we had to use paper towels every time we did the dishes and we cooked for every meal during our 4 day stay. Overall it was what we were looking for which was a quiet/comfortable getaway in the woods.

Had a great time at the cabin for a weekend get away with my girlfriend for her birthday. She wanted a relaxing retreat themed birthday and that’s exactly what we got at Tony’s cabin. We found the chalet was in an excellent location, far enough away from the hub bub for peace and quiet, but close enough for convenient access to the area’s historic sites. The cabin was very clean, but was in need of a little TLC as far as the deck finish and inside living room furniture were concerned. All in all, we thought the unit was a good value for what we paid and the owner was friendly and communicated well.

Tony’s place is very cute! Nice back deck right up against the forest and good for both winter and summer as there is a bubble tent sitting area and propane grill. We enjoyed the easy entry and no hassle interior layout. Very private area, in a quiet neighborhood, down a winding path. Super nice host and less than a half hour drive to the mountains, several cute small towns, and Harper’s Ferry.

If I could give this place more stars I would. It was a perfect little weekend get away for my dogs 12th birthday, he loves to hike and there’s plenty of trails and parks not far. We hiked to harpers ferry and spent the day there ( it’s a must see if you haven’t been) the house is so unique and beautiful, my favorite part is the windows, for sure! We definitely plan on coming back sometime in the fall 😊

Tony is an excellent host, very proactive and helpful. The house itself is lovely, matched the pictures perfectly. The firepit and hot tub really made this already-great Airbnb extra special. We loved the internet connection and ability to stream anything. I have a son with food intolerances, so we cook almost every meal ourselves, and Tony's place has a great base of dishes, cooking pots and utensils. Absolutely no complaints, only praise for this gem. Looking forward to coming again.

The house was in a wooded neighborhood and was perfect for us for the night as we were traveling north from FL to NY. The jacuzzi on the deck was a plus. Very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were also clean. You can tell this house hosts pets, but with a zyrtec I was able to stay the night with no issues. The stairs and upstairs bedroom are carpeted which was clean as far as we could tell. We did not stay upstairs. One bit of caution, we have a Ford Transit Van and even though the ground was not wet and no ice or snow, our van had a hard time making it back up the small part of the driveway. Our all terrain tires just slipped on the gravel and would go up the steep drive until I unloaded the back of the van and rocked it out of the spot the tire were sliding. Use the circle driveway instead. and you will not have a problem. There is a large fences in area for your dogs. The neighbors all have dogs as well so they will have fun barking at each other. A good stay for 1night

Speedy and courteous customer service, comfortable beds/bedding, clean, secluded, fenced in yard-great for dogs, large bathrooms and quality tv.
Cons:
Strong musty/ashtray smell throughout the home, stove and oven does not work properly (suggest not using at all), low wattage microwave and minimal cookware/utensils, pots and pans need replacing, many neighbors have loud dogs who bark all day and night, garbage scattered throughout the outdoor area, heating system keeps bedrooms super hot and rest of house very cold.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the customer service.

Cute cabin! Very clean. I do wish that the beds were a bit firmer, but other than that, we had a great time! Our dog loved running around the fenced-in area; hot tub was clean and fun. Tony and team are very responsive, proactively following up. Note that if you have a dog, there is a large brown male dog (intact) that roams around the neighborhood and remarks things on everyone's properties. He didn't seem aggressive, but it caught us off guard when we were out walking. But overall, it was a great experience. We definitely need to come back when the weather warms up!

Tony's place was nice for a little weekend getaway with my husband and dog. The home is in the woods but is not secluded. There are many homes close by. The home does have a fenced-in area for a dog. However, there are many other dogs in the neighborhood and one next door that was out for the majority of the time, so it is not the best location for a reactive dog like ours. However, if your dog does not mind others' dogs, it would be fine for them.
As for cleanliness, Tony's place was clean on the inside. However, we ended up not using the hot tub due to it having a weird smell and a lot of gunk floating in it. We were kind of dissaponted in this since this is a reason we ended up going with this home as opposed to other locations. If you are going to have a hot tub, you should ensure it is cleaned regularly.
The home is nicely situated between many attractions for outdoor lovers. We were able to visit Berkley Springs, Cacapon State Park, Winchester, and Harper's Ferry while there.

This Airbnb is in a quiet, wooded area. It allowed for a relaxing weekend. My husband and I brought our reactive dog and were excited to use the fenced in yard, but unfortunately the dog next door was always out so she couldn’t run around. We hiked in Harpers Ferry, which is about a 40 minute drive. The Airbnb was a comfortable fit for our family.

Great place to stay in the area. While it is private and out there, you are not far from Martinsburg, Winchester and so on. We loved our stay and are always grateful when our dog is welcome. Other than a few "harder to do" items, the place is spotless ... especially bathrooms and kitchen. We used the firepit, as well. Too rainy for the hot tub. A little outdoor covered space would be great, but we knew it was not there ... just a suggestion. I would definitely recommend staying here!! We will be back!! The house is a great size for up to two couples or a small family. It is in very good condition and has a nice large deck for outdoor entertainment. There is an ample amount of parking which is easy to navigate. It is fairly secluded with privacy outback on the deck. There is also a nice fenced in area for dogs to roam around off-leash. The kitchen is a good size to accommodate cooking a meal along with the necessary utensils which we appreciated. The grill was also in good condition. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

This cabin was wonderful for celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. It’s a bird lovers paradise, out on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning is highly recommended. This place was great!!! It looks small from the outside but it feels way bigger on the inside. We easily fit 4 people & multiple dogs (loved the fenced yard for the dogs!) Tony was very easy to communicate with & always replied to any questions right away. The area was within 30-40 mins of good hiking and some cute small towns with good bars/restaurants, but still remote enough to feel secluded. Unlike many other remote areas there were also a few delivery options which was nice on days we just wanted to hang out at the house. One thing I’d want to make future guests aware of is if you plan to use the hot tub you might want to bring your own towels for it. There were only enough towels provided for showering (at least with 4 of us). I did give Tony this feedback and he said he’d try to change that in the future though so feel free to check with him if you think that will be a need you have. I would definitely stay here again!
